An entertaining and interesting way to be exposed to and learn a little more of the Goddesses and Sirens presented. I only read the summary of each Goddess/Siren and appreciated each card. I have not yet used the cards in oracle readings, and I didn't perform any of the invocations associated with each Goddess/Siren, so cannot comment on the practical application of the set. As lovely as the illustrations are, however, they do not always seem to relate accurately to (the energy of) the corresponding Goddess/Siren, and don't always relate to the description of the Goddess/Siren in the booklet, so there seems to be a disconnect between the cards and the actual energies they are meant to represent. Also, each Goddess/Siren is presented in a sexual/sensual way which to me seems to disempower these otherwise powerful females, not all of whom relied on their sex appeal to garner respect and followers - e.g. Artemis is meant to be a virgin huntress by choice, and here she's just about baring her breasts, which just doesn't sit well.

what an amazing deck!!! this was my first goddess deck and i'm so glad i got this one. this isn't as well known or popular a deck as, let's say, the doreen virtue goddess deck but this one is amazing and honestly better. the illustrations in this deck are really powerful and serve as an amazing channel for these goddesses. there is an aphrodite card in the doreen virtue goddess deck i ahve too, but i prefer to use the card from this deck for my altars and everything. so, so good.

i'm not really into the fact that lilith is included here, but i'm still trying to figure out my actual thoughts on her as a being. any theories and interpretations? i'm all ears.

I’m unsure why this deck has so many low scoring ratings. This deck has beautiful illustration, and ranges widely from Gaia to Kali. Demarco has taken the time to carefully select a wide range of strong depictions; these goddesses and sirens are not drawn from only an intrinsically white background. I enjoyed that there were inclusions from many belief systems around the world (although sadly Medusa was left off once again). The included guidebook goes into detail regarding each figures history/representation, upright and reversed meaning, and a spell relating to each deity represented on the card. The cards themselves are of a sturdy nature, with glossy print.

I do think it’s important to note, as reviews on other sites have pointed out, that the illustrations can come across as being very influenced by the male gaze and some of the descriptions and/or histories of some cards are a little lacking (Eg: Lilith). Despite this, I think the deck is fantastic overall, of great quality, and an excellent addition to my collection.

This is another powerhouse of a deck by Stacey Demarco. Maybe not for everyone, especially those of you who like dainty pretty artwork, but the graphics on this deck is great. You can almost feel the energy and power of each goddess or siren leaping off the card at you. Strong imagery, and striking artwork make this a powerful deck for your collection. Highly recommended.
