Serenity Allen was looking for an uneventful summer. Her plans included – work, stack her money, and stay unscathed by the hood of Los Oceania. Unfortunately, her brother’s urge to move in and save money puts a dent in her agenda.Geoffrey Pryor is fresh out, looking to restart life quietly. For him, the game is a slippery slope that keeps beckoning him back to its shore. When a familiar spirit moves across the street and his friend gives him strict instructions, he finds himself going against everything he said he wouldn’t do.Falling in love in Los Oceania has always been easy with the cool breeze, but does it stay or fade with the wind?
3.7 ⭐️ The romance between Geo and Serenity was cute . They were devoted to one another and looked out for one another. He was charismatic and followed up his words with actions. Being your typical urban romance, this book was full of romance, deception, and even some violence. You felt bad for Geoffrey and Serenity, but you secretly wanted them to be together. In and out of the game, Geo and Serenity's brother Altonio were inseparable friends. Ren was off-limits since Ton wanted to keep his sister as far away from that sort of life as possible. Geo tried his best to honor his friend's wishes, so he maintained his distance even though their chemistry was intense . After being confined for two years, Geo had the opportunity to think about what he wanted out of life once he was free; however, his intentions fell apart when Tonio went to jail leaving him to watch over Serenity, while also picking up his slack in the streets. Marissa irked me cause ma'am you havent been here in years so now you wanna come out the shadows trying to run shit and be a parent. GO SIT DOWN. The ending felt rush with added information that’s building up to something. Something I’m still clueless about. I also wanna know what’s tea with Alisha and Altonio.
“What did I do to deserve you?” “You came thru.” 🥰🥰🥰 This book yall!!! Swoon 🥰😌🥰😌🥰 EVERYTHING!!! I don’t even think I can put into words the love that was felt between Geoffrey and Serenity! 🎶 Baby while we’re young, I think we should do something crazy! Like say fk everyone and just run away from the daily routine do you know what I mean 🎶 This entire song felt like the theme of this book and it was a whole entire vibe!
Geoffrey and Serenity were the forbidden lovers you couldn’t help but to root for. Geo and Serenity’s brother Altonio were best friends in and outside of the game. Wanting to keep his sister as far away from that lifestyle as possible, Ren was off limits! Geo did his best to respect what his friend wanted and despite the connection between the two of them that was so potent you felt it on every page, he kept his distance. After getting hemmed up and having to sit down for two years, Geo used this time to really evaluate what he wanted for his life upon his release but sadly those plans were null and void when after only 3 days into his freedom, Tonio swapped places with him.
Serenity was a good girl, the cute girl that she felt no man wanted because she didn’t have the assets to attract them like other women had. She had no idea that for Geo her aura had him completely and utterly stuck and he wanted her just the way she was. Serenity was a loner, after her King/Queen pen parents were sentenced to life in prison. It was just her and her brother for 6 years and now that he’s been taken away too she feels lonelier than she ever felt.
What started out as him simply looking out for Ren and keeping her safe, quickly turned into Geo throwing caution to the win and claiming what was always meant for him! He came thru in a major way and the way he loved and affirmed Ren had my heart bursting at the seams! It made me so happy witnessing Ren experience pure unadulterated love and the way she bloomed into a confident woman was everything! Please do yourselves a favor and read this book! You will not be disappointed!…. Now the obvious question that needs answers is are we getting a story about Altonio and Alisha 👀
You never let me down AP! Damn, this was good! 🔥 Altonio and Geo had been best friends from day one and would do anything to help and protect the other. Just one thing was a non-negotiable, Altonio’s sister Serenity “Ren.”
Altonio “Tone” felt like he was carrying the world on his shoulders. With both his parents locked up for life, his boy serving a short bid, and protecting and shielding his sister from hood ish, is taking its toll on him. However, things are looking up as Geo is getting out any day now.
Geo! Mf’n Geo, is the got damn man, you hear me? ❤ Swooning……. 😍😍 I digress. Geo was forced into this life at a young age, to provide for himself and his sister. However, he wanted more for himself and those in the hood. It was his mission to get out the game and pull as many others with him as possible. After serving his short stint, he vows to never go back there again. Upon his release the only thing on his mind is Serenity. He has loved this woman from afar for as long as he can remember and yearns to be with her. But is it worth the beef with Tone?
Serenity is the sweet, seemingly naïve daughter of hood royalty, but wants nothing to do with the life. It has taken everything away from her that she holds dear, and she just wants out! Out the life, out the hood, just out! However, life’s circumstances bring her back to the very hood she was trying to escape, and a bit closer to “him.” Serenity has loved Geo forever, but she knows that Tone will lose his damn mind if she follows her heart, so she sits on the sidelines and waits.
While throwing a small kickback to celebrate Geo’s release, hothead Tone kicks off some ish that causes chaos in the Lo. Tone knows he’s going to have to sit down for a minute, so he asks Geo to look out for Serenity. Geo is like I can’t catch a damn break! Been out a few days, and here comes the ish! Now forced to step up in Tone’s absence, all the heat and responsibility falls on him. He can handle all that and more, but can he stay away from Serenity without Tone’s interference?
They tried, Lord knows they did, but the pull that Geo and Serenity have toward each other could not be denied. Geo would handle Tone when the time came, but he had to have the girl that was destined for him. The way Geo loved, cared for, and built Serenity up had my heart smiling. 💕 He waited a lifetime for this girl, and he would not mess that up.
Man did Geo help bring the beast out of Serenity. Ma’am did not play, and I was here for it all! Okay AP, there’s more right? We have to know will Big Al get out. What is Marissa up to? Does Emmanuel find out what Marissa has been hiding? Oh, and Miss Alisha! Will she spin the block with Tone? Hmmmmm….. What an amazing read, that I didn’t want to end. 👍👍👍
I've read a lotttttt of Aubree Pynn books because her pen is TOO GOOD and I think Come Thru is one of her most beautifully written books. The love Geo + Serenity had for one another oozed from every single page. Not only was the journey both characters took to get to each other but the growth each one had throughout the book did something to my heart. I took my time with this book because I loved it entirely too much.
The book was ok. I think it could have Been better. The scenes in the book were jumbled together. I didn't like that. What was the sex of the baby? How Tone beat his case? When is Big Al getting out. Who was Rafael before? I mean I have a lot of questions. 3.5 stars
Geo and Serenity have had me in a chokehold since I finished my 2nd read. Yes, I read this twice because it was just THAT good to me. First, the TW/CW and pronunciation had me in tears. Idk why Aubree is like that but I love her for it. There was something so soft about Geo and Serenity. They just felt right. There were no games, just two people who had been wanting each other FINALLY getting to have each other. They each needed a space to simply be themselves and someone who they could rely on 100% and they found that in each other. I appreciated Geo coming home and doing everything he could to not get caught up…..unfortunately things are never that easy. Glizzy Black played no games. That twist was great and it also has me a little nervous (excited) about what’s to come. Hoping we get to dive into Tone/Alisha because there’s definitely a story there. Overall this was another 5 star read for me. I literally couldn’t put it down.
*I received an ARC from the author

This was Fire 🔥‼️. Geo and Serenity were so stinking cute and desirable like they make you want your love like that in the healthiest way. They were obsessive, possessive and breathed each other and it was so pure and downright heartwarming. The secrets and trials that got dealt to them just made them stronger unite and I very much enjoyed this read I didn’t want it to end at all and really wanted to continue to read on there love, happiness and big chemistry. The secondary characters made it all more good and I’m hoping we get a story out of Tone and Alisha as well as the parents they were so Interesting. Geo was really that man his energy was just up there even with all problems on his back people like him go far and wide and having Serenity by his side with her energy just made their coupling elite. I will say the fast pace of certain things that happened within the family like the jail times and sibling stuff made me want to know more or more details I felt it was too quick like a glance and then gone but it doesn’t take away the effects of the book and meaningfulness it’s still top notch. Overall this book was delightful a 4.8/5 ‼️‼️❤️
(P.s. I’m glad they now know my sis serenity not one of them to play with they kept poking the koala and got a big back python up they a$$) (P.p.s. Glizzy got 9 lives so idk why they keep tryna come for him it’s a joke at this point then get BIG scared when the bogey man comes 🤣)
WHEW!!!!!!!! Where do I begin, everything you think you know you don’t. Just keep reading. The emotions and love come through. They come off the pages. Serenity and Geo!!!! GOD!!! Watching everything unfold for them and with them was incredible. I loved all 3 of these books despite being standalones. I mean loved that I’m glad my order has been placed for them. Geo made the decision they were going to be together and once they agreed, it wasn’t no ending them.
This story gave me everything I didn’t know I needed. At this point I now know what an automatic buy from an author is cause Big Pynnie gonna do every single time. Trust me you will not be disappointed.
Everyone knew that Serenity and Geo were meant to be together, but a promise hindered them, until date stepped in and took over. Geo soon realized that the resistance he thought he would receive was non-reader existence…especially if it meant him keeping Serenity safe from the streets.
Once again, @aubreepynn has delivered am amazing story. Everything from character development, to the flow of the story, and the plot twist was on point. My favorite character was Geo, because he was such a stellar guy and my least favorite was Sosa, because…well, you'll have to read it and see. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that the author nearly made me come see her about my boy Geo. Lol
In conclusion, I recommend this book. Go get it today!
If he is not like Geo, I don’t want him! That was a man in every sense of the word. The book was about Geo after he completed a two-year bid. He was determined to leave the streets behind and start his life over. Serenity was a forbidden fruit; she’s a good girl and the sister of Geo’s friend. They had intense feelings for each other, and I was waiting to see how things would turn out.
I loved Geo and Serenity’s story. They were soulmates and protective of each other. The way Geo spoke life and words of wisdom into Serenity had me highlighting passages. He had a way with words and backed them up with action. While this was an urban romance story, there was action, secrets, plotting, and bloodshed. The streets kept poking the bear, and Glizzy let them have it! I experienced a whirlwind of emotions, and every time “Come Thru” was said, I squealed. That was Geo and Serenity’s way of checking in; it was sweet. She was his peace, he was her hero, and they were my babies. I loved this book! I am hopeful there is more to this group because Alisha and Tone piqued my interest.
Baby when I say Aubree put some good shit in this here😮💨. I smiled the entire book . Geo was giving straight love poetry and speaking so much life into their future . Geo and Serenity a must read !
Geo, aka Glizzy Black is home after a stint in jail and determined to leave his illegal life in the past. He comes home, hoping to keep it low make his last moves with his best friend Tone. Only to find out his one temptation is back on the block: Tone's sister. Serenity is hoping to leave the hood behind, but finds herself back home with her older brother, and across the street from the only thing she wanted she couldn't have. Then Tone gets locked up, and entrusts Geo to watch over her. And things come so naturally, neither of them can heed Tone's warnings to stay away from each other.
This love story was so smooth, so easy. It was written in such a hypnotizing cadence, in a way that you can't fight falling in love any more than Geo and Serenity can. This author has a great pen for this. This story was written carefully, but still fully. Nothing was left to chance. I love the way they dreamed together, protected each other. Geo and Serenity are what happen when two people are inevitable and this story showed that so perfectly. I loved it. The background with Ren's family gave context to the La Fleur Mafia, whose story is still building, so it adds needed layers. Geo's ability to shapeshift into what he needs to be at any given time is what makes the threat of Glizzy Black so very real, and I loved seeing him handle his business, quietly and carefully. Serenity stepping into her own power was a great blossoming moment for her. You knew there was much more to her and seeing her find it was a nice touch. What a fun and sexy ride. Perfectly passionate and just enough sweetness to lull you into the romance. Great job.
Geo came home with two things on his mind—leaving the streets and claiming a love that he’d denied himself of. Ren just wanted peace and she found solace in the embrace of a man her heart longed for. Both battling the unspoken traumas left behind by their parents, Geo and Ren embarked on a journey of love that would provide the rebirth they longed for. Geo took the steps to provide a space for his family go thrive, while Ren stepped into her purpose both professionally and personally. It was beautiful to witness. All the external noise wasn’t enough to stop the flame brewing between them.
I almost didn’t want this story to end. I’m lowkey starting to prefer the Le Fleur/Pryor/Los Oceania crew a little more than my boos in Ganton Hills. Ms. Pynn what’s going on here?!?! Please tell me that Tone and Alisha have a story brewing. There’s a story there. I’m still waiting on more from Treach and heck…I’d even like to hear from Sonny haha. I’ll wait patiently though.
"Come Thru" by Aubree Pynn is a captivating urban fiction novel that delves into the complexities of life, love, and the relentless pull of the streets in the neighborhood of Los Oceania. The story revolves around Serenity Allen, a young woman who seeks nothing more than a quiet and uneventful summer, where her primary goals are to work, save money, and avoid the hardships of the neighborhood. However, her plans are disrupted when her brother moves in with her in an attempt to save money. This unexpected twist sets the stage for a narrative that explores the challenges of pursuing one's dreams in a turbulent environment.
The novel also introduces Geoffrey Pryor, a character fresh out of the harsh realities of the streets and striving to start afresh. He faces the constant temptation of returning to a life he is desperately trying to leave behind. When a familiar face from his past moves into the neighborhood, and his friend advises him against getting involved, Geoffrey finds himself torn between his desire for a new life and the magnetic pull of his old ways. This internal conflict adds depth and authenticity to his character, making him a relatable and intriguing protagonist.
One of the central themes explored in "Come Thru" is the idea of transformation and redemption. Both Serenity and Geoffrey are striving to escape the clutches of a neighborhood that threatens to hold them back, and their journey towards personal growth and change forms the backbone of the plot. The author skillfully portrays the challenges and obstacles they face, creating a sense of empathy in readers as they navigate their respective paths to redemption.
Another significant theme in the novel is the power of love in the face of adversity. Los Oceania may be a tough neighborhood, but it is also a place where love can bloom amidst the chaos. The backdrop of the cool breeze and the ever-present allure of the streets adds a unique atmosphere to the story, highlighting the contrast between the harsh exterior and the potential for genuine connection and affection.
Aubree Pynn's writing shines in "Come Thru" as she masterfully weaves these themes into a gripping plot filled with realistic characters and emotional depth. The story keeps readers engaged as they follow Serenity and Geoffrey on their respective journeys, and it leaves them contemplating the power of choice, the allure of the past, and the possibility of a brighter future.
In conclusion, "Come Thru" by Aubree Pynn is a thought-provoking and emotionally charged urban fiction novel that delves into the themes of transformation, redemption, and the enduring power of love. With its well-crafted characters and engaging plot, it is a must-read for fans of contemporary fiction, offering a glimpse into the struggles and triumphs of individuals seeking to rise above their circumstances in a challenging environment. This book was a real page turner. I love all the drama and the plot twists. The supporting are a 10/10. The dynamic of the story and the development of the characters were beautiful. Sex scenes were fire as always. This is easily five stars. Kudos Aubree.
Y’all know this is an @aubreepynn Stan account and anything she releases it’s an automatic read/buy for me. With no hesitation
APs Pen definitely has crack in it. And my girl does not miss like ever.
Aubree Pynn can write a man. But baby Geo aka Glizzy Back. He’s Definitely top 3. The way this man catered to Serenity and was just soft and vulnerable with that woman. We love to see it. Like Serenity definitely entered her soft girl era with Geo. And I’m returned Serenity catered to that man. We love a reciprocal LOVE. But when that man washed her hair and catered to her when she was on her cycle…gotta love an attentive king 👑
This is an Aubree Pynn book so while there is a cute romance. There is also drama, violence, murder, the cartel, and a wayward bottle of draino. We get shootouts and family visits in prison. 🤣🫣. Baby when I say I was on the edge of my bed reading this…cause I knew as soon as the romance popped off and I’m all on my feelings…shit was bout to get real. And it got real fast 🤯😳
Y’all know Indigo Haze is my fav AP book. So I squealed when Indigo and Taj made they appearance.
I know there has to be more to this story. Cause I need to know about Serenity’s Momma. Geos sister and tone. And Cree and his war was mentioned.
And if you still haven’t taken my advice and gotten into APs catalog..carry your tail on over to The Hills immediately
She always had his heart. He always looked and looked out for her but he couldn’t touch. Their attraction was potent but he was a man of his word and loyal to the promise he made with his best friend and her brother - sisters are untouchable. 6 years of the stares, beating hearts, light touches, soft words, drama, jail time - them orbiting each other but never crossing the line. He was a lion born and breed in the hood life where all he’s known is survival and being fearless. She was born and bred in the hood life too but she was hood royalty thanks to her mother and father running the hood with iron fists and her brother doing the same. But she was pure, soft, and protected. They needed each other - she had nobody on the outside after events took place - she was alone, and he always had her in mind to be his peace. Sometimes you gotta go for it and promises, rules, loyalty, haters and the hood be damned.
I loved this book! Their chemistry and attraction was intense and I felt it through the page! They had some serious restraint around each other and that made it fire to read! This one is my favorite in the series so far. Awesome read!
Hmmm, I don’t see the correlation between books one & two of the “LeFleur Mafia series” and book three other than Ganton Hills & Lavendale mentioned. Meanwhile, “Come Thru: A Los Oceania Love Story (LeFleur Mafia - Book 3) was a good standalone read. However, Marissa/Valentia/Sophia and her selective incarceration/witness protection status is suspect was annoying and confusing. Thereafter, although I like Geo & Ren’s chemistry and watch their romance evolve. Why the hypocrisy? Altonio didn’t was Geo to date Serenity however Altonio & Alicia had been secretly creeping the entire time. …hence paternity test 🤣🤭🤷🏾♀️‼️Finally, as previously stated three books completed in this series and there’s even more “LeFleur Ambiguity”. …please connect the LeFleur-Ganton Hills dots 🤨🤪🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️‼️
geo and serenity were love at first sight. the details of their slow burn and them finally getting together was so worth it. geo was moving like 50 cent go shot 8 times and still breathing. men really should trust our intuition because serenity told him that something didn’t feel right and they the should stay home but he convinced her to go with him and he ended up being shot but at the same time it served a purpose to weed out all the snakes in their camp. serenity may be soft spoken but she is her mother child for sure she made that girl bald and blind for messing with her. serenity bought geo peace and gave him love.
i wonder how the cartel situation will play out since geo killed rafael and since alicia is also pregnant with rafael baby. like im pretty sure now they’ll really be wanting a war and will be coming after their lost family.
Everything about this book was worth the way. Come Thru stars Geo aka “Glizzy Black” and Serenity aka Ren. These two were meant to be and i loved watching their love bloom. Care from a good man can have a woman reaching levels she didn’t even know existed. Him creating a safe space for her to not only be herself but to grow beyond her imagination was so beautiful to witness. I want nothing but sunshine and rainbows for them. Now don’t get me wrong there is hood ish all up and through here but i love me a good hood man with a soft center who loves on one woman. Y’all need to read this tens across the board honey.
A man, okay?! Lord, I just knew Tonio was going to have a whole fit!! But honestly I loved the transition of protection from Tonio to Geo over Serenity. Not like Geo wasn’t going to do that anywayyy! That was his woman and he was gon get her by any means! And the way that man just handles business?!? Yeah baby I’ll be your Serenity too!
My girl Serenity getting to live in her soft girl era while still being her mother’s daughter?! Yeah we love to see that! Love to see a man vouch for his woman to be her strong self and not just a doormat. I absolutely loved Ren, Ms. Girl got down, she did not play!
Aside from the few typos here and there, I really enjoyed this book! I love a good urban/hood love story and Geo and Serenity’s journey was nothing short of that. There were no questions left unanswered, which I also loved. Everyone got an ending, whether it was happy or not. There wasn’t too much fluff and the pacing was perfect. I never found myself bored or tired of reading dialogue. I read it all in one sitting (overnight essentially) and was a little sad to see it end so soon. Definitely recommend picking this up for a smooth, steamy read.
1st things 1st, Ren’s boss up, chef’s kiss man. Then you get Big Pynn making us fall in love with these bad boys in books yet we wouldn’t even look at them in real life 🤣, but I’d rather live out my fantasies in my head. As usual, Miss Aubree did the things when it comes to firing story lines. Then appearances from my favourites too 😭😭, I was so happy. The spiritual connection this couple had, I need to add that to my prayers when asking for a person 🥹. Geo was someone that sorts out issues there and then and not bear around the bush, yet does thing strategic. A must read as always 🔥🔥
Oh yes ma’am. Serenity and Geo had a bond from the jump. A love that won’t judge, a love that will forever embrace growth, security, protection, etc. Come Thru has me ready to text that man to do just that. A gravitational pull that can’t be fought.
Family secrets and jealousy on the other hand showed out. Aubree continues to tie all of the stories together so keep track of those Easter eggs. The Suarez Cartel. Joey. Marissa. Big Al. Only time will tell.
I liked the idea of the book, serenity and geo finally being together after years of pining after one another. But to me I feel like I couldn’t really follow the sequence of time. It would seem like days had passed but it would be the next day and vise versa. There were a lot if plot holes that made the story confusing to me. Also the way that they spoke to one another seemed unnatural. It was always these very deep conversations or long “speeches” that didn’t feel natural.
