The Returning Ones: A Medium's Memoirs

Rate this book
From a Good Friday angel, to a wandering spirit straight from the pages of Tolkien, to a gathering of Civil War soldiers sharing coffee in her Gettysburg farmhouse kitchen, join Shirl on a journey into the paranormal realm. Safe in the comfort and courage of your reading chair, embrace both the normal and the paranormal as you share in Shirl’s memories as an Intuitive Medium and proud owner of a historic Civil War farmhouse. Spirits of the Battle still roam within her farmhouse and amidst the hallowed grounds of Gettysburg. Shirl shares personal stories that will forever change what you believe about ghosts, angels, and the supernatural. Journeying from the hallowed grounds of Pennsylvania to the magickal woods of Ireland, walk along with Shirl as she attempts to explain the unexplainable and open the doorway to the Spirit Realm. Readers can anticipate the antics of some furry spirits who join Shirl, an animal communicator, along the way.

I have found this book to be extremely interesting. It's the first real book I've bought in years since I stay with audiobooks or ebooks. It really holds my attention and is fast reading. The author is a phenomenal wordsmith and feel like she is with me, in person, telling me all her stories.

The font is a bit larger and a sans serif one with nice spacing between the letters and lines. It makes it very easy to read on the eyes. I will definitely be purchasing more books by this author. In fact, I bought two more today on Amazon.

I really didn't want the book to end and just wanted to read more and more of Shirl's wonderful stories.
