Fairy Godmother Inc. (FGI) relies on fate to pick five random girls from Earth to be chosen to compete as an FGI agent against one another. Five women get to embark on an adventure of a lifetime, full of danger, excitement, and most of all, true love. You might wonder why these girls chose to compete against each other for a man aka target? Well, FGI believes that only competition will bring out the true colors of the young women and they need the strongest competitor to rule besides the target to ensure a balance in the respective world.

Another 5 start, the only negative about this one is I’m not a huge fan of the Era it is set in. But the story is great and a different twist with the FMC.

Zoya is not a new name in the FGI series but so far has only been mentioned a couple times. Well it's finally time for her to shine. I loved this book so much and certain things that happen have ripple effects in the rest of the series. You won't want to miss this one and won't be able to put it down.

This whole series has me in a chocked hold. Every book is just getting better and better, I can't seem to pick a favorite. The plot is breathtaking ( the actual plot ... Not Dion ahah).

The way Zoya seduces him is amazing. She is strong - willed, stubborn and doesn't keep her tongue in her pocket, I loved it. The agent is just so funny, too, and always shows up when it matters.

Gotta love those Christmas Parties.

I absolutely adored this book! From the very first page, the mix of chaos, humor, and romance had me hooked. Fairy Godmother Inc. is not your average whimsical fairytale organization—it’s messy, sharp-edged, and filled with drama that feels deliciously scandalous. The workplace hijinks (seriously, stolen underwear!?), the bureaucratic absurdities, and the wild, steampunk-tinged setting made every chapter sparkle with originality.

Zoya Romanova is such a fun heroine to follow; equal parts competent, exasperated, and thrown into the impossible. The fact that she, of all people, ends up chosen for the next mission made the story feel both unpredictable and deeply satisfying. And then there’s Dion. Their romance had me swooning; it’s got tension, danger, mafia-style power plays, and a surprising amount of tenderness woven in.

The world itself is another highlight. It has this perfect “steampunk Stepford Wives” aesthetic layered with a mafia vibe, giving the story a sharp bite beneath its fairytale surface. I couldn’t stop turning the pages, because it felt like anything could happen in this mix of love, power, and magical bureaucracy gone wrong.

If you’re looking for a romance that’s witty, a little wicked, and filled with twists, Fairy Godmother Inc. is a must-read. I can't wait to get the next book!

So this one... I found the characters to be the ones that I’ve grown least attached to. The story line seemed a little jumbled like the fbi vs the other bad guy didn’t quite make sense. I feel like maybe drop the fbi and just make them another group of bad guys they never come across as government officials if that makes sense. That said I loved the ending. Out of all the stories their happily ever after was absolutely perfect. Also I didn’t guess the AI aspect and with how much I read it’s really hard to suprise me

I disliked this world and this main character. Zoya was bitter and awful. And of course that’s what makes her “different” from all the goody two shoes housewives of this android/bot filled world.
Eventually once Zoya decides she wants Dion and will win him, it gets better. Though she still was super dumb not realizing why Dion would try to keep her locked up while he was going to be tortured/killed or worse.

But I really adore the ending. Thinking of poor Dion who has had a life lacking love becoming a father was redeeming of one more star.

Who knew I apparently have a thing for slightly “robotic” men who get all glitchy when you get too close? I mean I didn’t.

Seriously when I saw the description I was like…eh I don’t know if that’s really my scene. I was wrong, apparently anything this author writes is my scene. I loved this book. Maybe one of my faves in this series so far. And the ending…I know some reviews on the Galatea site had people easing eyebrows, but I think it was chef’s kiss.

I feel that this book is more just a filler story for the series. The plot is all over the place, even more so than what I would consider normal scattered for the series. It gives some fun insight into the inner workings of FGI with Zoya being employed there.

Been loving this series but had to drop a star on this book because of the setting. Didn’t mind the robot, cyborg thing or the Big Band music and older dress, but the whole ‘women don’t act like this or that’ visa giving me Stepford wife vibes. After awhile it even bothered me. Absolutely loved the ending!

Terminator with a twist
