Former Dallas cop and Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Chilton is in the middle of prosecuting the biggest case of his life, which could make or break his career, especially now that he is poised to be the next U.S. Attorney in Michigan when his boss, George Markham, the current U.S. Attorney, retires in the next few months.
To further complicate matters, Andy receives an unexpected Facebook friend request from an old girlfriend, Alexis Nelson, whom he hasn’t seen in more than 20 years, and decides to honor it as he had always wondered what had become of her. Their extremely hot romance had ended 20 years earlier in large part thanks to Alexis’ meddling mother.
Although it starts out innocently enough, Andy quickly realizes that he still has unresolved feelings for Alexis, and unbeknownst to him, she has the same feelings for him. He also realizes that they should have never broken up in the first place.
When they both have an unexpected opportunity to meet in Washington, DC, they realize that they must come to grips with their feelings. Will their meeting be strictly platonic, or will they rekindle their old sizzling hot romance?

Larry grew up in Shreveport, LA, is married and has 3 kids. Larry is a graduate of LSU-Shreveport with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal and is currently pursuing a Master's in Criminal Justice. Larry served almost 12 years with the Shreveport Police Dept., and has been a federal agent for more than 18 years. Larry currently lives in the Fredericksburg, VA area and has written 2 books, and is working on 5 more between kids and grad school. In his spare time, Larry plays keys and guitar in a band that plays a mix of classic rock, oldies, funk, blues and R&B.

Borrowed this book from Amazon prime.
Very earthy....filled with winks and lol's. Work days seemed a bit off.
Good try - way to work in the martial arts we practised together.
