Daisy

I can’t believe he’s actually going through with this. My brother’s best friend, an arrogant, egotistical, womanising ars*hole, is soon to be my husband. If we don’t marry, my brother will be bound to a debt that he took on to protect me, and I can’t do that to him.

So that’s how I find myself signing the contract that will trap me in an arranged marriage with a man I despise, but if Dalton thinks I’ll be his just because I’m going to take his name, he can think again.

I’m Daisy Hammer and I will never fall for his charms.

Dalton

I can’t believe she agreed to this f*cking farce. My best friend’s younger sister, who I’ve loved to hate for the best part of our lives, is soon to be my wife. But I have no choice. If we don’t marry and give my father the heir he’s so desperate for, I can kiss goodbye to my family’s fortunes and the lavish lifestyle I’ve grown accustomed to.

Reluctantly I sign the damn contract and bind myself to the most infuriating woman I know, but if Daisy thinks she won’t be mine the second the ink has dried on the contract, she can think again.

I’m Dalton Gunn and I always get what I want.

From the author of the bestselling Academy of Stardom series comes the second standalone book in a brand new world set in Princetown featuring the billionaire heir of the Gunn family fortune and his best friend's, off-limits, younger sister. This is a steamy, angsty, enemies to lovers, arranged marriage romance not to be missed.

This is a billionaire, enemies to lovers, arranged marriage romance. It will not be for everyone and you MUST check the TW/CW before starting. The content will NOT be suitable for everyone. This covers topics that may be triggering for some.

Bea Paige ruined me in all the BEST ways with this book. Like seriously, this woman writes the best damn books that are full to the brim with emotions, tension so thick you can cut it with a knife and a truly gripping storyline. I was hooked within the first few pages.

Bea has this amazing ability to capture your immediate attention; her writing style is unlike any other. It’s like insta-love; she grips you in an intimate chokehold that lovingly caresses and sensually satisfies you throughout the entire read.

This book was everything I expected and more, but then again, I knew it was going to be outstanding just from reading the prologue in TTAHD. The agonising wait after book one made the read so much more sweeter. Drew me in like a bee to honey!

As is the norm with Bea Paige, the levels of empathy and compassion present in her books is nothing short of phenomenal. Her attention to detail is staggering and the level of depth you get with each character is something else. I especially enjoyed the character development of both the FMC and MMC during this read.

As with all the books written by this author; the plot was brilliantly structured, the emotional challenges were perfectly placed at pivotal points during the read and her characters were beautifully written. The emotional turmoil present during the read made for an extremely turbulent ride.

I connected with this read on an emotional level and I’m not ashamed to say it brought me to tears, on more than one occasion. They were not tears of unhappiness but more of understanding and appreciation. This book provoked some of the strongest emotions I’ve ever felt during a read but it made it all that more enjoyable. The way Bea captured the raw emotions of the characters was totally outstanding; I would hands down read this book over and over again. That’s how much I loved it. I loved everything about it.

I fell in love with Daisy in TTAHD, she was the kick a$$ sister so uniquely different with the biggest heart of gold. I loved her flair and sass then but I love it even more now after having the chance to see her more clearly. This woman is everything. Her loyalty to her family knows no bounds and she is a warrior. Her scars are deep but they don’t stop her from loving as fiercely as she does. She was challenging for all the right reasons and I adored her for it.

Dalton both angered and excited me. He infuriated me to no end when he couldn’t see the sun when it was burning so brightly in front of his very eyes. He was too caught up in his own head but I must admit, I did enjoy his walking red flag behaviour, his possessiveness gave me the shivers on numerous occasions. The caveman behaviour suited him, especially in the bedroom.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching their relationship adapt and develop during the read and Bea did a number on me with that sexual tension. Oh boy did it hit hard; it was a go large or go home kinda thing.

I’m beyond excited for the third part of this series and you’ll catch me counting down until it’s finally in my hands. This series is EPIC!

🌼Marriage of convenience
🌼Brothers best friend
🌼Enemies to lovers
🌼Forced proximity
🌼Billionaire MMC
🌼Quirky FMC
🌼Opposites attract

Would recommend this book times infinity!!

I am sobbing and I’m not okay. This book is absolutely phenomenal. I feel so deeply for both characters. I laughed, I swooned, I flushed, and I sobbed so hard. Throughout this book, I was falling in love right with both characters. I was loving the progression. Then right around 80%, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. For the miscommunication and the conflict. AND BAMMM! I immediately was like no no no and I couldn’t handle it. This book held me in its grasp for the whole ride and now I truly don’t want their story to be over. BUT I’m so ready for the next story.

Daisy will do anything for her brother Drix, even if it means taking his debt and signing a contract to marry his best friend and having a child with him. But one thing is for sure, she will never love Dalton. I truly love Daisy. She truly wants nothing more than to be over her past where her family abused her over and over again. Ever since she was adopted she continues to grow and become strong. Her character over the pages is like a breath of fresh air and I loved every moment. Her character is absolutely beautiful and I loved that she kept Dalton on his toes with her quick banter and sass. Daisy is truly one of my favorite characters.

Dalton always has a woman with him by the end of the night. Now all that must stop since Daisy entered the contract to marry him. But, what Daisy doesn’t realize is that Dalton will stop at nothing to get Daisy. In The Thug and His Doll, Dalton was such a pain. In this book, his character was so much better. Over the pages, I have truly fallen in love with Dalton. He would crack me up and swoon all in one. I think his character had the biggest growth and it was perfect.

This story is truly so sweet. I loved seeing all the characters again. I loved the progression and the way the relationship developed. I loved how much both characters grew. I loved the banter so much. Honestly, this book is one of my favorite reads this year. I highly recommend checking it out.

The Rogue and His Flower - Dalton and Daisy's story - was everything I needed. Arranged marriage, best friends sister, enemies to lovers, forced proximity. Dalton was raised by his cold, calculating, all about money father and was a playboy. Daisy signed a contract agreeing to marry Dalton and produce a heir to help her brother out of a tricky situation. Daisy and Dalton had know each other since they were kids, but spent more time arguing than anything else. I loved the relationship between these 2, starting as frienemies, but over time moving into truly caring for each other. The growth in Dalton over the story was great to see, and I loved how Daisy was a strong, unique woman who tried to stick up for herself. Both Dalton and Daisy had pasts they were trying to get over and keep hidden, but they really helped each other to heal. Plenty of steamy moments and some tender, sweet ones too.

The Rogue and His Flower is the second book in the series but I feel it could be read as a standalone. That said it was great to have read it after Drix and Lia's story as you had their background going into this one.

I fell in love with Bea as an author after reading The Thug and His Doll, the first book in the Princetown heirs series. I knew from Daltons appearances in that story that he was going to be the one I was drawn to, and his story would be epic, and I have not been disappointed. This story covers a lot of complex trauma issues and spectacularly demonstrates the way childhood trauma can have lasting effects and be carried into adulthood, affecting future relationships.

I utterly adore Daisy, she is such a relatable character, which makes her feel all the more real as you are reading and really has you rooting for her to find her joy and happiness. The strength she displays, always thinking of others, managing to help Dalton heal, whilst still battling her own inner demons. Remarkable woman. Dalton, complex, possessive, smouldering everything that screams sex appeal whilst also having this inner vulnerability rooted from past trauma that somehow makes him even more appealing and gives him an endearing quality despite the alpha bad boy image he also puts across.

I loved watching Daisy and Daltons relationship progress and blossom, their banter, the way they infuriated each other but also couldn't resist each other, made for an entertaining, engaging, heart wrenching read full of angst, spice and a phenomenal plot.

Definitely recommend this book and this entire series to everyone.

Exactly what I wanted

After reading all of the tension in the first book of the series, I had to have this story. It’s exactly what I wanted, and I loved seeing the dynamic of this couple change from the previous book to now.

You have to love an enemies to lovers when they become better people together and help heal mutual trauma. It’s exactly what this was. Both are so stubborn and in denial that sometimes you just wanted them to sit down, hash it out, then kiss and make up and shut up.

We knew who the next couples were going to be once they were introduced in book one and this is probably the couple I was most looking forward to. However, now that we’ve had glimpses of the other couples/books, I’m intrigued by their stories as well.

I have followed Bea Paige’s journey from the first series until now and this is different from her other books, with some similarities. I do enjoy the storytelling and I’ll be continuing this series and look forward to the next.

Enemies to lovers is probably my favourite trope and Dalton and Daisy’s story is a brilliant example of why, all the tension and banter that develops into a fierce love.

Dalton and Daisy are both strong characters and their sparring is brilliant but underneath they are both a bit broken so when their feelings start to change towards one another they doubt these feelings, not seeing them for what they truly mean. When they do it’s beautiful, powerful and they start to heal but it’s not plain sailing from there, their bond is tested in a heartbreaking manner testing their love.

As with all Bea’s books I’ve read there are a great range of characters in this book, from those you love, those you love to hate and those who intrigue you and leave you wanting more.

This arranged marriage, brother’s best friend, enemies to lovers is an engrossing story that I thoroughly enjoyed and that has left me eagerly awaiting books for the remaining Princetown Heirs.

I loved Drix his story, but after reading The Rogue and his Flower, I loved this book even more. Fake/arranged marriage, hate to love and the ohhh so yummy spice and I was there for it all.

Bea Paige did such an amazing job with Daisy and Dalton. Full of sass, and under that layer there is so much more and deeper emotions in both of them. And I really liked how we got to know them better with every chapter.

The overlap from when Drix his book ended and this one started was done amazing. And I really liked it that you'll get to see something from Drix and Lia also. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

Thank you Bea Paige for this ARC to read and review.

Dalton and Daisy… Daisy and Dalton. You know what my favorite part of this book is? Character growth!!! Beginning Dalton is a completely different creature than ending Dalton is and I could not love it more. From the start he’s exactly what his father raised him to be. Cold. Unfeeling. Unlikeable. Closed off. A playboy to rival any other. But by the end? He’s Daisy’s man through and through. Open and loving and caring. It was just so spectacular to read. And now I’m ready for the Painter and his Poet! Bring it on, Sterling!!! 💜

After reading The Thug and his doll, I knew I was going to love Daisy and Dalton.

Daisy loves her brother Drix so much that she agrees to marry Dalton (Drix's best friend) and have his child to release Drix from his debt to Daltons father, Carl

You literally watch Daisy and Dalton grow independently and as a couple. The lack of love they have both experienced from their parents have shaped them into who they are and what they seek from a relationship. Daisy craves love and affection, whilst Dalton keeps everyone at arms length. Daisy just wants to be loved for being her, Dalton wants the same thing, but it takes him a while longer to realise that!

Daisy is a bright, colourful, fun, and loving person. Even though she has been through so much trauma as a little girl, and these nighmares return and haunt Daisy but Dalton quickly becomes her anchor.

Dalton is possessive and takes his vows to Daisy very seriously, to the point he stands up to his dad for always judging and putting Daisy down. Dalton's growth throughout this book is so heartwarming, all the little gestures, that makes Daisy realise his not the man she thought he was.The way he takes care of Daisy and supports her through one of her toughest moments made my heart burst.

This book had me swooning and laughing. It also broke my heart and put it back together, which had me crying again (happy tears)

Bea Paige wrote this book so beautifully, and I can not wait for the next book.

Giving it two stars because it could be good. But lord the back and forth is so obnoxious. For the first 30% it’s constantly Dalton saying “wait, Daisy!” As she runs off. She makes up 3 rules, but she’s allowed to break them as she pleases. She is closed off and confrontational even when Dalton is clearly trying to build a foundation for their relationship. She refuses to communicate (one of her rules) and runs off every time he asks her something personal or accidentally says something she doesn’t like. He’s TRYING, and she’s acting as though he forced her into this marriage.

I quit soon after the 30% mark because it was redundant and silly. All these amazing kisses and back and forth. He only thinks about his penis and she only thinks about how he’s the enemy. 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Every time he apologizes or tries to make amends, she makes jokes about him being a jerk or about his sex life. Constantly attempting to put him down. It’s just not cute and I really despise her. She seems like she’s supposed to be sweet with this bubbly personality and all colorful, but her attitude is shit.

I also found it ridiculous how the author kept pointing out that the random guy that put the moves one her “tried to molest her”. Maybe he would have, but he asked her for a kiss and then held her wrist so she couldn’t take off. There was no molesting. And Dalton wanting to kill the guy seemed over the top…

So I enjoyed Drix and Lia story and was so happy to see Dalton and Daisy get there story after we had all the teases in The Thug and His Doll (TTAHD)! This book was everything, I loved it more than TTAHD and didnt want it to end! This one felt more realistic and relatable, as TTAHD was more insta-love which isn’t my favorite when it comes to contemporary romance since yes it does happy in real life it is not common so it’s hard to get into the story sometimes. BUT The Rogue and His Flower was a totally different story. This enemies to lovers, brothers best friend was incredible. The tension between Daisy and Dalton was palpable, was beautiful to see their love grow and them lean on each other. I couldnt get enough 😍

First off Daisy is my spirit animal haha, her feistiness was hilarious and her big dog in a small body persona, doesnt take anything from anyone, even the baddies and very strong personalities in this world couldn't hold her down! She made me laugh so hard and I highlighted so many favorite quotes! Her medical issues hit me right in the feels because I relate so much to it. I felt seen for the first time when reading, knowing that it wasnt the exact thing I have but her feelings, her concerns, how people perceive her, etc match what I have gone through in my life. I won’t give it away but I cried a lot in this book. There are some tough topics, please make sure you check the trigger warnings because there is a big part of the story that I know is a trigger for some women. The author handles it so well and you can tell she did a lot of research to make sure she covered the tough topics. She emphasized with people who have dealt with this, gave us a voice, and I don’t know what else I can say but thank you. Being a woman can be so tough with our bodies feeling like they are out to get us haha, and to find a FMC that mirrors things that I have gone through and still go through was so special and appreciative ❤️❤️❤️

Dalton was such a hard character to like in TTAHD and it took a bit but boy did this author make me love him so hard. She did this in her Finding Their Muse series with Anton who I did not like in book 1 and beginning of book 2 and then he became my favorite by the end of book 2. Dalton has had to deal with a hard life with his father and how he was raised and treated. He is a good guy underneath and has to crawl out of the hole his dad has dug for him and stand up for himself and Daisy. He fell so hard for her and loved seeing their lust and tension turn into friendship and long-lasting love. They fought hard despite so many things trying to get them down. I loved seeing him stand up to his dad about the debt and about keeping Daisy as his wife. I loved seeing him step up for her and be there for her when she has her nightmares and her medical issue that causes complications and devastation. Their honeymoon was a rollercoaster but the steam was fabulous, their budding love was addicting, and their laughs and snark was infectious.

I have a couple more things to gush about and won’t give spoilers. The cameos was fantastic in this one. We get more Drix, Lia, and Toby and we get to know some of the Heirs and what is going on in their life, setting the stage nicely for Sterling in book 3! I cannot wait to see how they overcome their issues. Loved the steamy scene with the bike in TRAHF, I sure hope the author also brings that potential RH to life with his friends at the track. I imagined Dalton on his equipment and droooool hahaha. Dalton with the wedding dress made me smile from ear to ear and solidified him as one of my top 5 MMCs from this author! And that ending....I was working out and finishing it up and sobbed...literally sobbed in the gym and the poor guy in there with me looked so confused and helpless haha. I don’t want to give it away but the author tied in something so spectacular and emotional and you couldnt help being in awe and loving it. So beautiful and amazing.

I sure hope this can become an audiobook one day, I think hearing Daisy and Dalton’s chemistry would be epic, and it would further elevate this story. This was a top 5 read for me of 2024 and I think it will remain there all year. I am tempted to get the physical book and do a reread and that is rare for me haha. I am a huge RH lover and voracious reader and listener but this M/F new world has me in a chokehold and I am here for every second of it! Bring on the Painter and his Poet 🥰

( ARC Review )

‘ If coming all over inanimate objects was a last pass to hell then every single woman on the planet would be lining up at the gates with their vibrators. ‘
This had me cackling. So many lines in this book just had me.

Firstly, The rogue and his flower although technically a standalone is also book 2 in an ongoing series. I personally haven’t read book 1 yet but I do wish I had, just to understand the story a bit more and the decisions made at the beginning. That being said, you absolutely do not need to read TTAHD to enjoy TRAHF … but like, why wouldn’t you? More men? More romance? I will make the decision for you because why would you even want to miss out? You need to read it. Ready, set, go.

Daisy and Dalton’s story is one that brings a whirlwind of emotions, a marriage of convenience between two people that never see eye to eye. Obviously nothing could go wrong, right?

My heart aches for Dalton, shatters for Daisy and I am completely numb for them both. Brother’s best friend, billionaire MMC, enemies to lovers, … it’s so heartbreaking raw, filled with powerful tension and it is oooh, so spicy. Blimey, it’s a lot. Parts in this story had me in so much pain. I remember those that did, however sad, I think those were needed. Although fiction, Bea had included so perfectly, situations that happen in real life and I don’t want to miss out on mentioning that. Whilst I had tears, I also had frustrated ones too. How is there more spice in a characters life than mine? Rude. I’m surprised my thighs hadn’t toned up by now after all of that clenching.

I need to shush now otherwise I will be chatting everyone’s ear off for 6 days, before I do go, you guys know how much I love a good ending. It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s HEA. The ending in Daisy and Dalton’s story was, the one I assume all of use readers needed. It was right for them, it was a very fitting ending for such a romantic rollercoaster that is, The rogue and his flower.

Check those triggers. Never go into a book blindly.

Author Bea Paige is back with the second interconnected Standalone in Princetown Heirs series The Rogue and His Flower.
Through dual perspective, this Age Gap, Marriage of Convenience, Older Brother’s Best Friend, Enemies to Lovers Romance follows Dalton Gunn and Daisy Hammer story.

The Rogue and His Flower narrative and the development put forth through the journey Daisy and Dalton were taken upon resulted in a beautiful and deeply heartfelt story.
However it wasn’t an easy ride, considering the many situations and events faced with hardships endured, leading to ups and downs, highs and lows, and pushing and pulling between not only Daisy and Dalton as individuals but their relationship that was tested too.
But with outside forces coming into play in the form of secondary characters, it caused even further tension, drama and angsty-ness throughout.
Ultimately contributing to a rollercoaster ride of a story, more so with seeing the two go from Enemies to Frenemies to Lovers in their relationship.

On the outside Daisy and Dalton were similar with the tough exterior they both presented, however what was surprising was on the inside they were similar too.
From the character development presented, we were able to see that too amongst more of Daisy and Dalton that was hidden within the layers that made up who they once were, to who they were now. Getting right down into the nitty, grittiness of trauma and deep emotions particularly on Daisy’s part, something author Bea presented throughout in their journey too.
It gave us a real feel for them individually, whilst coming through loud and clear in their inner monologue within their POV chapters.
Their journey showed growth to be had, that was slowly yet surely shown along the way too. Especially when it came to their battles with their individual hidden pasts, which Daisy and Dalton were able to help each other to overcome and heal together. Bringing forth further depth to the characters, being able to see all the sides that made up who Daisy and Dalton were.
In my opinion, it's what made for a very sentimentally moving story, getting you deep in feels with the characters as they evolved.

Despite only two books having been released from author Bea Paige’s Princetown Heirs series.
It can be said The Rogue And His Flower is my favourite thus far.
There was just something about Daisy and Dalton that not only hit deep within, but made it worth the read with this emotional heartfelt, warm and tender story.

The Rogue and His Flower is an emotional read that really pulls on the heart strings and makes rhe reader emphasise and truly connect with Daisy and Dalton. Dalton was born in a life or privilege having everything at the snap of his fingers and yet ruthlessly and viciously controlled by his diabolical scheming father who attempted to mould him into his idea of the perfect image. By contrast, Daisy was born with nothing to parents who didn't want her and tore her down in the most disgusting and vile ways and yet isn't broken by this an finds love in her brother Drix and their adoptive father Hubert.

But there is one thing they each have in common, their desire for love, to find someone who loves them for them, who won't leave them alone, who will support them and believe in them, cherish and adore them. It's only natural that on this long journey where each of them face many truths and find out there's more to the other than is displayed on the surface that they find what they need in each other. It's a story of finding themselves as well as each other and breaking away from what is holding them back to develop a love so deep, pure and strong which is tested in the most heartbreaking way.

This author's writing style is truly phenomenal, it's emotional and compassionate and empathetic drawing you in instantly to love and root for her characters (except Carl and Clarissa) in a way that makes you forget that it's not real life and just a story. It's so real and relatable in the most amazing way that it calls to everyone.

Overall, this story was a beautiful combination of feelings, filled with epically, sensual love and lust, ragingly fierce anger, side-splitting humour and sass, swelteringly hot sexual tension and sorrowful emotional turmoil. The relationship growth between Daisy and Dalton and their own personal character growth are what made this such an incredible story for me. Seeing both characters go from the caterpillars they are to the blooming stunning butterflies that are hiding deep inside was so emotional. This was an easy 4 stars read for me and will be going on my list of recommendations to all readers!

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who was broken beyond belief. Abused by the very people who should have adored her, their only act of kindness was to abandon her. Sent to a group home the little girl found her first Prince Charming in the form of a boy determined to be the best big brother he could be. Drix was the first to recognize the light in Daisy, and he was not about to let the world destroy it. He has looked out for her since that first day and now, she has a chance to repay him. She can save him with an arranged marriage and provide an heir. If only the marriage wasn't to his best friend. The womanizing, arrogant man she hates.

I liked this story but didn't love it. Bea Paige is an excellent writer, and if I feel the Princetown series is missing the magic of some of her other works, I still think it's wonderful storytelling with incredible characters. This is enemies to lovers at its best. Dalton and Daisy were complicated characters. I loved Daisy in book one but struggled with her during the first part of this book. She's still the quirky, colorful beam of sunlight to most of the world but she reserves her thorniness for Dalton. She is a traumatized, damaged soul. She doesn't trust easily and lacks self-worth. This is understandable but does not make for a likable person in a relationship, especially with a man like Dalton who has no relationship skills. This was exceptional character development. It was also frustrating to me. I didn't like "mean" Daisy. It was lovely watching their relationship unfold and seeing them move beyond their childhood damage and forge a true bond. I look forward to future stories, so we can find out if the older generation has any regrets. It's clear to see the Princetown heirs are on their way to much more fulfilling lives than their fathers.

ARC Review of The Rogue and His Flower by Bea Paige📚🌸👗✈️💍💒🍼📝

Dalton and Daisy's story was absolutely everything I needed. Arranged marriage, best friend’s sister, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, just beautiful.
Dalton was raised by his cold, incapable of love father, and Daisy was raised in horrific circumstances because of her biological parents. Both of them knew each other since they were kids as Drix is best friends with Dalton but Daisy and him were always bickering and after a lot of time spent together they started to really care for each other.

Both Dalton and Daisy had pasts they were trying to get over and keep hidden, but they really helped each other to heal. I loved seeing the growth in Dalton over the whole story, I loved how Daisy was everything, she was a strong, unique woman who did her best to stick up for herself even when she was scared. Her loyalty to her family knew no bounds which was so beautiful to see.
Both Dalton and Daisy had really hard pasts, a lot of internal scars running deep, but that didn’t stop them to love each other as fiercely as they did. I adored how they really helped each other heal and were always there for each other.💘

Bea Paige manages to blow me away again with another fantastic series. The Rogue and His Flower is Dalton and Daisy’s story from the Princetown Heirs. Personally, I love a brother’s best friend and enemies to lovers’ story and this one did not disappoint. There was a lot of stuff both Dalton and Daisy had to endure growing up and neither really knew the level that the other had gone through and only saw what was presented on the outside.

In order to save her brother Drix as the family enforcer, Daisy agrees to marry his best friend and Princetown Heir Dalton as well as give him a child to carry on the family name. Dalton’s father was very cold and dismissive so he never knew what love was, so Dalton took on a playboy persona with the “love them and leave them” mentality because if you left first, you couldn’t get hurt. Daisy came from an abusive family where she was literally locked away and treated worse than an animal, so she was starved for love and latched onto it oftentimes making horrible choices in men just for that affection. The two have of course known each other growing up and always used these choices to pick at or attack each other over the years with Dalton being a playboy and Daisy making bad choices but with this contract for marriage they are both trying to make the best of it. They both tried to let their walls down and found that they really had more in common than they thought, and both made pledges to try to get over their past transgressions. The banter between the two was often like foreplay leading into to some amazing sexy scenes with spice out the top and there were definitely instances where I cried for them both. I highly recommend and love everything that comes from Queen Bea and can’t wait to see what is in store for the next couple in Princetown.

Daisy x Dalton

The Rogue and His Flower, the second book in this series tells us the story arc of Dalton and Daisy, whom we have been introduced with on the first book. To those who are new to this series, I urge you to read book one first for a complete reading experience.

I was excited to read these two main characters story after that glorious teasers I had from the first book. I just knew that their story would be explosive, messy and sizzling with those pent up tension. And boy, was I blessed to get those and then some from this new book!

Daisy and Dalton are more alike in a lot of ways. Even if Dalton is a womanizer and Daisy is a free spirit kind of girl, both have deep seated need to be feel love and be loved. Both of them uses mask to hide away from their perceived flaws, but finally realizing that what they both needed is each other.

I floved this book and as always, this author never fails to tug at my heart string, so definitely recommend! And yes, can't wait for book three! The book trope for that one is sure fire!

Special thanks to the author for providing an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is the second book in the Princetown Heirs, and it is a rich enemies to lover storyline that gives readers all of those feels with some added punches. This is Dalton and Daisy’s story and what an entertaining read it is. Dalton grew up with anything he could ever want as his family was very well off, but his father was a calculating playboy whose primary concern was money and continuing his familial line. To say Daisy’s life was not easy would be an understatement. She endured so much trauma in her childhood but that takes a second seat to helping her brother out of a jam. The solution is for her to marry her brother’s best friend, Dalton, and she signs an iron clad contract to ensure that she does not back out. Making matters even more interesting is that Daisy and Dalton ran in the same group growing up and their modus operandi was arguing over just about everything. See the issue? Are these two capable of putting on a show or will their façade turn into something else entirely? Ms. Paige has done an exemplary job crafting these complex characters. Dalton’s growth as the chapters progress is noteworthy while Daisy is right there with him as she maintains her strength and independent attitude throughout. Overall, this is one journey that is fraught with challenges and ups and downs that will keep any reader hanging onto every word until the end. I loved this book and cannot wait for more in this world.

“At the end of the day, when all is said and done, nothing is more important than love. It’s the only thing worth living for.”

WOW! Dalton and Daisy’s story was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride from beginning to end. These two had me in a chokehold and wouldn’t let go. I was hooked on their story from page one and devoured every intense and emotional moment that these two went through in order to get to their happy ever after.

Daisy is such a feisty, spitfire of a woman. She grew up in such horrific conditions but became stronger because of them. She still has her demons that give her nightmares, but she pushes through them. Daisy would do anything for her brother Drix, including marrying his best friend, in order to protect Drix. But what Daisy doesn’t realize is that Dalton (her future husband), is about to tear down her walls, force himself into her life, and become the man she desperately needs.

Dalton is a womanizer, or at least he was until Daisy got under his skin and all he can think about is his future wife.

The back-and-forth banter between Daisy and Dalton was incredibly intense, emotional, and sweet. These two had me laughing, sobbing and falling hopelessly in love with them as a couple. And don’t let me forget the heat these two give off every time they are around each other. It was explosive.

I absolutely loved this story. It was sweet, wonderful and definitely spicy.

I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

When I read who this book was going to be about I knew immediately that these characters and these tropes were going to immediately be one of my favorites in the series.
Brothers best friend
marriage of convenience
Enemies to lovers type vibes
He is a playboy
Forced proximity
She is quirky (loves to show it in her fashion)
That this was going to be my type of book.
Now I will tell you I am a serious fan of Bea Paige. Her previous universe I LOVED every single series. I have reread them multiple times. I did really enjoy the first installment in this new series in this new…I’m not sure universe is the right term. BUT THIS BOOK YES!!!!! The banter from the first book brought me into this book already excited. I knew that there were some possible attributes I was going to be getting from Dalton that I was just hoping to see and Bea did that and it really hit the spot!
While Dalton is from a wealthy background his upraising had some unforunite inconsistencies to it that causes issues. We all know that with Drix and Daisy they were adopted so you know that she didn’t have the best start in life. You will find out more about her background and what happened to her. Be ready as though this is not really the dark romances you are use to with the previous universe the story is still compelling and will leaving you waiting for the next installment of the Princetown Heirs!

I read the first book in this series, The Thug and His Doll, and liked it, but I absolutely loved The Rogue and His Flower. Dalton and Daisy went through so much and came out of it with so much more than they had in the beginning.

In TTHD, Drix. & Lia were strangers who fell in insta-love which kind of turned me off the book a bit, but I kept reading their story and really ended up liking it. But in TRHF, Dalton and Daisy have know each other for most of their lives, and fought for most of that time too.

Dalton is Drix's best friend and Drix being Daisy's older brother, they had to spend a lot of time together throughout the years, but they always seem to be annoyed with each other. Once they are together in their arrangement, even before their marriage, they finally get to know each other more than surface level and really get to spend time together without Drix or anyone else there to mediate or interfere.

The love these two have for each other is amazing and they show it even through the hardest time of their lives. The things that Dalton does, and gives up, for Daisy is amazing. He isn't sure that he knows how to love, but he has loved her for a lot longer than either of them actually knew; he just needed her by his side for them to both realize it.

I cannot wait for Sterling's story!

🌼Arranged Marriage
🌼Brother’s Best Friend
🌼Enemies to Lovers
🌼Forced Proximity

The Rogue And His Flower is the second book of the Princetown Heirs series of interconnected standalones. I could not put this book down! I love arranged marriage and add in brother’s best friend, yes please! Add to the fact that Daisy and Dalton despise each other and you get some of the best angst and banter!

Daisy has agreed to marry Dalton and have his child so that her brother’s debt is paid off to Dalton’s father. She can’t stand him and his player ways but she would do anything for her brother. Daisy is so relatable and I felt her heartache with many of the things she deals with throughout the book. She is so strong and exactly what Dalton needs in his life. Dalton is use to getting what he wants but thinks he isn’t capable of loving anyone. He agrees to marry Daisy to help his friend out but also to secure his inheritance. There were times I wanted to smack him but seeing how he was raised I understood why he acted the way he did at times. I loved how he was so different with Daisy and the way he cared for her. These two had my heart in a puddle by the end of the book. I loved getting more of Lia and Drix and I’m looking forward to Sterling’s book next!

This is the 2nd book in this New series Princetown Heirs.

This is a enemies to lovers romance, billionaire romance, best friend younger sister romance, arranged marriage romance, forced proximity and brothers best friend marriage of convenience romance and can be read as a standalone.

This is Dalton and Daisy 's story.

Dalton is a guy that always gets what he wants and he is an alpha male who is arrogant, cocky and a real playboy.
Daisy is a beautiful strong woman that will do anything for the people she loves. So when she agrees to the plan it shocks her and him, but she knows that's the only way to help out.
(NO SPOILERS)

I absolutely loved these characters from this whole series and I love how this author brings them both to life perfectly. These two were so great to read about This story will pull you in book line and sinker and captivate you until you finish every last page.
I love the steam the angsty and the twists.
This book is angsty and I absolutely loved the side characters and I can't wait for Dalton and Daisy and we got to see a big chunk of them both inside this story. I am looking forward to seeing how their story plays out and I will definitely recommend this book to everyone.

ARC Review for The Rogue and his Flower by Bea Paige.

4⭐️
3🌶

I have loved Bea's books long before I created my little bookstagram account, so to have been approved to ARC read this felt like a booksta dream come true!! Thank you so much!!

I knew I was going to love these characters after reading A Thug and his Doll, and I was not disappointed. So many emotions were pulled out of me when reading this book. Dalton & Daisy's story is heartbreaking and beautiful.

For Daisy to have experienced all that she went through as a child, teenager and young adult, and to come out with her colourful outlook on life was lovely to read. I was rooting for her happy ending. Bea did an amazing job detailing a situation that many women have to deal with, and Daisy's reactions to the news broke my heart. I was able to sympathise with her and just wanted to give her a cwtch and tell her it would be OK.

Dalton's character growth was huge in this book, he went from believing he wasn't capable of so much, to proving himself (and others) wrong.

I'm so happy they got their happy ending. Such a great book that I highly recommend!

This was a very emotional slow burn between Dalton and Daisy. They both went through so much to find the light at the end of the tunnel. I had been excited for this story since first meeting Daisy in Drix's book. I knew she was a character that I would really enjoy.

I admired Daisy's resiliency. She was unique and unapologetically herself. She didn't let what others think affect her. She is a strong character and I really loved her tenacity. I just knew she would be a star! I felt so bad for all she had to endure. Like how much more can you put the poor girl through! I loved how she wasn't afraid to put Dalton in his place with her fiesty personality.

I love when characters have that epiphany moment and it was pure and honest brilliant with Dalton. The emotional growth he showed was inspiring. He wasn't my favorite going in but he won me over. He was surprisingly passionate and protective. I loved how he put his ego aside and was willing to be so supportive of Daisy.

I really enjoyed this story and got draw in right away. I also loved getting to see Drix and Lia again along with the rest of the group. I'm really looking forward to Sterling's book and getting to spend more time in their world. I would definitely recommend The Rogue and his Flower!

I should start by saying, anything Bea Paige is an automatic read for me. Everything I’ve ever read by her, I’ve loved. Was this my favourite of her books? Sadly, no. Was it’s still really good? Yes, absolutely.
Bea has a writing style that captures me and draws me into a story until I’m utterly absorbed in it. It’s one of the things I really enjoy about her books, this one included, I get totally sucked into them.
Unfortunately, I really didn’t gel with the characters in this book at all. I found the FMC a little annoying and the MMC frustrating. That being said, I still found myself absorbed in their story and I was rooting for them by the end.
Bea touched on some very tricky subjects in this book, specifically miscarriage. Having suffered this tragedy myself, Bea’s portrayal was accurate, sensitively handled and beautifully written. I could never have verbalised as eloquently as Bea has written what I went through.
If I had gelled better with the characters, I’d have given this 5 stars because I did enjoy it and it was well written. I would definitely recommend and I will absolutely be reading the rest of the series when it comes out!
