If people like romance with dark elements and morally grey characters you have it here. There’s BDSM, blackmail, main character with memory loss and huge secrets. Some components were a bit confusing while reading up to about 60% and while they were later answered it definitely can take away from the experience.

With editing and reworking parts of the story this could really do well. The synopsis on goodreads is also a bit off in wording

Overall this was a pretty good read. This book needs better editing, but it's still pretty good. Just read the damn book.

this was my first time reading anything by this author, this book was surprisingly good. I was skeptical reading this book due to the low numbers of reviews. I’m glad I decided to read anyway. Gem’s story was a shocker, her and Wes were perfect for each other. I’m happy he had his accident that’s the only good thing that came out of foster trying to kill him. Who knows if he would have ever man up and went after Gem. I just wanna know how she went 3 years of him treating her like shit. Like did they never have any communication or intimacy? I’m guessing not since she had her BDSM life. That’s the only confusing part for me, I can see a year maybe a year and a half but a whole 3 years of being married and no communication. Like did they live together? Did he always stay out? Did they ever talk? I know she was a secret and no one knew they were married but a couple of people. It would have been nice for Gem to get an apology from his friends and mother for the way they treated her. After all, they all were upset and mad with her for something Adaline did. It would also have been nice to know what happened with Adeline and if Van really had a thing for her. Overall good book I definitely recommend reading it!

I don't think this book gave what the author hoped to give..... but it was simply A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E!! It was a second chance at love for 2 imperfect people. You will laugh out loud. You will shake your head. Your heart may even break a little... It's definitely worth the read.

This was such a good read. I definitely plan to check out the rest of your catalog. I didn’t know how him winding up in the hospital was going to play out, but even he knew something wasn’t right with ol girl. The secrets that came out was crazy!! I honestly thought that someone close to him had something to do with what happened at the rig. I’d love a catch up with Sal growing up and coming into her own.

I enjoy the depiction of BDSM. It was not the usual and includes more emotional connection than other books. I would probably read again.
