AN EPIC LENGTH SLAVERY ERA PLANTATION STORY.
In 1858 with the Civil War still rumblings just beyond the horizon a determined group of young people--both black and white--find themselves already in a desperate struggle to preserve not only their own lives but those of their little children on a plantation in Alabama called Bellflower. John Bell, owner and master, by using the young black people’s own sexuality against them is already years into a highly profitable business model which allows for two annual market crops; raising cotton and high-dollar slaves for the auction block. Already having achieved a great measure of success acquiring three plantations and over four hundred slaves, Bell is lacking only an heir which he will go to extraordinary and underhanded measures to obtain and his plans for a young builder from New Orleans named Levi Rush include much more than just construction matters. What Bell doesn’t count on is old taboos and racial lines not being enough to prevent true and honest love and affection between young people of both races which could ultimately thwart his plans and bring the kingdom he has amassed for himself crumbling down if not curtailed in time. Life on the plantation becomes ever more precarious by the day in a battle of intrigue and wits which will only end well for one side.

The Heir of Bellflower peels back every horrendous layer of the inhumane enslavement and treatment of an entire race of people by a society that sees nothing wrong in it and includes a large cast of characters both black and white. It is a meaty epic-length novel of almost 800 pages in 40 Chapters holding nearly a quarter of a million words. This story contains adult content and some graphic depictions that are HISTORICALLY ACCURATE and WHOLLY PERTINENT relative to the subject. Most of all, it is a story about unconditional love. From the author of Timothy--A White Slave Boy Story and Bella's Cowboy Romance, both also interracial stories.
