What a great memoir of one of Australia’s greatest swimmers.

Reading about all of Michael Klims achievements in the swimming world, reminiscing about the 2000 olympics when Australia’s swim team was top notch, Michael’s business pursuits and his journey of battling his crippling autoimmune disease was truly eye opening and very inspiring.

If you’ve ever been interested in the Australian elite swimming scene and someone who has dominated in the business world, this book offers in-site into what hard work, dedication and passion achieves. It’s definitely a great read of 2024.

This book resonates with me as my eldest lived for swim club, comp;s, state & nation wide. I enjoyed reading about Michael's swimming career - legand ! Of course loved reading about Sydney 2000 games especially. Its also a inspiring read but very sad to see how unfair things happen BUT how you can change your mindset and turn things around - well done Michael !

Really interesting story of a swimmers journey to the Olympics. Also tells the story of how life can suddenly change by health for someone considered a super human when competing.
