There were some neat entries into this collection, none that really tied to the overarching story, but neat to see this little pocket of the universe and the impact the Blood Hunt had.
First of, we have Jubilee, former vampire...this was a fun story, and well told. I never got lesbian vibes from Jubilee before (not current on my readings though), but this one definitely strayed into that territory, which is an interesting take on the character. All said, good art, good pacing for the story, and interesting characters.
Next up is Magik, a personal favorite character. What I liked most about this story is that she slays without much effort, and just goes on about her life. Great character, doesn't take flack from anyone, decent artwork.
Then, we have Psylocke's story. I wasn't a fan of her/Greycrow's relationship, as it seems forced, and I know he has turned a new leaf, but I still prefer him as a villain. That said, the Japanese influence in this story is really cool and harkens back to some great anime. Cool monsters, great artwork, and just a kick-butt story!
Next is a Wolverine (X-23) story with Scout. This story was a bit weird, didn't love it.
Finally, we have Logan... His colleague makes this story, though. Her kick-butt attitude, cool weaponry, and battle skills make the story. The Maverick plot felt weak, and although it was the main plot device, it was only okay. The action was top-notch throughout, though. Great art!
The variant covers were a nice touch, but the Peach covers were stunning!
This was a great collection, and a nice side story that has little to do with the main story (in that, it has no real impact on the plot). However, it was great and fun to read!
