It was a while ago, that I read Books 1 - 3 so it took me a bit to get reintroduced to the characters from those books and of course there were new characters who popped up in Books 4 - 6. Again Rosemary and Athena drove me crazy at times but that is what made it interesting,
A good set of stories that require dedication in reading.
Although I love Rosemary and Athena and their exploits, for me personally, I have to be in the mood to dedicate the time to read one book at a time as they are a very slow boil. After reading two bundled sets 1-3 & 4-6 the next one I buy will be book 7 on its own.
Myrtlewood Mysteries Omnibus: Book 4-6 by Iris Beaglehole. Rosemary has opened her chocolate shop and is a success. Dain turns out to be the son of the Queen of the Fae realm which means Athena is her granddaughter. Rosemary continues to cause trouble with her magic and Athena goes to the fae realm and her grandmother tries to marry her to a cousin.
I have to say that the story lines were refreshingly unique. Although the stereotype were followed, it was the constant surprises that made me enjoy this book series.
