Lover of Pastiche

I am a big fan of the Sherlock Holmes detective stories. And not too long ago, I discovered the pastiche of the series.

Yep. Just like with the Lovecraft mythos, there are vast amounts of books written by authors who, like me, are great fans and they write the pastiche to prove it.

This book is a wonderful representation of the Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson mythos. The banter between them is spot on.

For fans of the series who are craving some new material you may want to read Matthew Davenport’s version.

Just like his books which are Lovecraftian, he is definitely able to give his work a feeling of authenticity.
