Today, I marry a stranger...

Introducing a new, steamy arranged marriage mafia romance must-read for fans of Sadie Kincaid, Michelle Heard, and Ana Huang!

No, I suppose that’s not entirely true. The great heir to the Gemini empire, Marco Rossi, is an infamous figure in our dark world. The Rossi’s are one of the notorious mafia families who rule Manhattan and now I belong to him.

As if an arranged marriage wasn’t insulting enough, I’m forced to tie myself to the man whose family killed my brother. After the loss of the leader of the Four Seas, the Chinese Triad was in shambles. With no male heir in line to ascend the throne, an arrangement was struck to solidify both of our families’ supremacy.

I despise Marco with every shred of my being. He’s arrogant, loud, and insanely possessive. He’s about to find out that despite my prim and proper upbringings and my demure countenance, I don’t belong to anyone.

My husband may think he won the battle when he put that ring on my finger, but he’s about to discover the war has just begun.

One click now to devour this steamy, slow burn, arranged marriage mafia romance!

Wicked King is the fourth story in the sinfully delicious Kings of Temptation series, which can be read in any order. Each book is a standalone novel complete with a HEA, of course, because even villains deserve a happy ending. Please note: this is a dark romance novel with scenes that may be triggering and sexually explicit in nature.

Why do “romance” authors write sex scenes between the H and OW??🤢🤢Even if the h and H haven’t met yet , it’s just weird.

SOOO frustrating - so much potential
But for me: there’s TOO much of a manwhoring & mentioning of past hookups. Not mention a GD SEX SCENE WITH ANOTHER WOMAN (his assistant that he was temporarily living with NEVER goes away - she continues to work for him then later both of them)

Jia (FMC) was such a strong heroine & I really loved her fire - but I did get annoyed that the assistant never left. The assistant may have been a decent person & was good at her job, but she clearly had feelings for him & kicked him out of her apartment he was temporarily living in because it wasn’t going anywhere. I think they could’ve found her a job elsewhere. She never went after the H & cut ties with him before he got engaged (although she was part of wedding planning so she knew all the details). Also, right before the wedding he went to her apartment drunk to hookup but couldn’t go thru with it. He didn’t even knock, but she ran into him as he was leaving & knew what it was about & offered to talk but said she was again done with him. She knew he was getting married the next day cuz she was basically planning the entire wedding (she planned every aspect of his life).

Also, Jia stood up to him & seemed so angry & hurt by his manwhoring, but it wasn’t ultimately why she was so angry at him (another event in their past that connected them).

I really wanted to like this but there’s just too much of his talk about OW & OW content for me.
Otherwise, I did like Marco when he wasn’t being a pig & I loved Jia for the most part.

End of brothers stories

Ok so this did tie up a lot of stories, I just think so much was missed like the back stories for the twins, why the mother did what she did and Jia’s backstory! But it was still a good story and series!

I like sienna's books
I absolutely loveddd Nico and Dante
But Marco, nopesss, nope, not my cup of tea
I hated him from the moment he misbehaved with maisy while pretending to be nico
And honestly his book didn't change my opinion about him at all
Infact, it got even worse
Also, the fact that he said that he was more familiar with maisy's body than he was with the women he slept with was REALLY disturbing
Like "what the hell" disturbing
About his dynamics with jia,
Honestly it felt more like lust at first sight than love
He had his good moments of course but this just wasn't for me
When i read a reformed playboy, i want him to keep it in his pants from the very first line of the very first chapter. Period

Marco and Jia’s story is here! This is the final book in the Kings of Temptation series. You can read this as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the other books first!

Marco and Jia find themselves being forced into an arranged marriage (well ok, so technically Marco lost a bet, but it was going to happen either way.) Except, Jia really doesn’t like Marco. She finds him to be arrogant and possessive and she belongs to no one. He has no idea what he’s in for!

“Before I met you, things were very clear, black and white. Now all I see is gray.”

I loved Jia as the FMC. She is strong and fierce and feisty. She has such a love and talent for fashion too. Oh Marco, he falls so hard for Jia. He was so protective and willing to burn the world for her.

Both of these characters have trauma from their past that they need to work through. My heart broke for both of them and I loved how they slowly start to trust each other. This was a great ending to the series!

5 Star Review Wicked King (Kings Of Temptation #4) by Sienna Cross

Audio review:

This story will keep you on the edge of your seat whilst reading or listening. The narration by Thor Thom and Fiona Claire was spot on. Their voices are easy to listen to, diverse accents, they did justice to the story and the characters that author Sienna Cross created. Told in duet narration this added to my enjoyment as I listened.

There was a lot going on in Wicked King. A marriage of convenience between heir to the Gemini empire, Marco Ross and Four Seas, Chinese Triad heir, Jia, the woman who is “encouraged “ to marry him.

This is a story of danger, suspense and eventual love that ticked numerous boxes for me.

The hatred Jia feels for Marco was palpable at times. However we all know there is a fine line between love and hate.

Full of twists and turns and some surprises I did not see coming this book will keep you invested from the first to the last chapter.

I was gonna give this 2⭐️ but I'm feeling generous so 3⭐️.
Now did I enjoy this book? Meh. Jia was cool at times but she was equally as annoying. And don't even get me started on Marco. That man needs to learn that being a whore is not a personality trait. And honestly a man being kind of a manwhore in books doesn't usually bother me but here it was excessive. There was no women in this book that Marco interacted with, with whom he did not have sex with (except his brothers gf and even thats a stretch because he did see her naked on multiple occasions and even kissed her). And surely you must think i'm exaggerating: trust me I'm not.
Anyway, except for that, the plot was fine nothing crazy but still entertaining.

Quickie review: This has been an absolutely amazing series I just happened across recently. I have loved these brothers and the women they obsessively love. Marco, being the forever bachelor that he is, was an absolute thrill to watch him fall completely and hopelessly for Jia. Who would have thought he would fall first and hardest in their relationship? Their romance is somewhat of a slow burn but done to perfection. I just wish Jia would have came to her senses a little quicker, so Marco wasn’t in turmoil as long. But in the end, it was perfection. 5 Stars.

Love Marco!

Oh this series keeps on getting better.
I love me some arranged marriage books! The tension between these two characters is amazing!
Marco has to marry Jia, Jia is pissed that she was ambushed into the marriage that she puts him through hell before they get married.
Jia is a strong woman and won’t let a man walk all over her.
Marco is a sexy playboy who has to give up his ways to settle down and help out both families.

What a finish to this incredible series. Marco is a twisted lover boy. I loved Jia’s fiery personality and both of their backgrounds. I also loved seeing our favourites from previous books and the way it was tied together. I will always be a fan of Sienna Cross’ dark mafia books. All hail the kings of temptation !!!!

She’s a virgin, he’s a wh0re who effed his assistant and almost effs her again on the eve of their wedding after he’s bought her a ring that his brother had to tell him to buy, assistant continues working for both of them and even buys their actual wedding rings and plans their wedding. They don’t get to know each other whatsoever. Oh and their wedding song is “perfect” by Ed Sheeran because he heard it as he saw her, except after that moment he pulls his business out for the real estate agent for her to suck for the house he rents. What a romance. Oh and also he’s pining after his first love and that’s the reason he’s a wh0re.

A Spitfire and her Honey

While Jia wants nothing to do with the Four Seas, she isn’t left with a choice after her father and brother are killed and she is the only blood relative left in line to rule.

With the Four Seas causing trouble for the Geminis without a leader, Marco is being pushed into a way to regain some stability by his brother - follow through on the deal originally made with him . . . marry Jia.

Once her grandfather arranges the marriage, Jia has no escape. Marco is also tricked into the arrangement by his brother. But, the more the playboy mafia boss sees his soon to be wife, the less he wants to back out of the deal. But, can Jia accept what fate is forcing on her when she has vowed never to let a man control her life again after living with an abusive father?

Ohhh I loved this couple! Marco is a total playboy and can’t imagine ever settling down with one woman. But Jia immediately has him in the palm of her hand without even wanting him there. Her independent and stubborn streak as well as her ability to rule in what is considered a man’s world has him more than hot . . . as does her hard to get nature when it comes to their relationship. Marco suddenly finds he’s more than happy to have just one woman for the rest of his life.

Jia wants to hate Marco, but finds there is so much more to him than she could have expected. She’s torn in wanting to be fierce and independent when he is so dominant himself. Jia truly blossoms in this book and becomes the woman she was always meant to be, and much of that is from the respect and support given to her by Marco.

I adored the push and pull with this couple. It definitely wasn’t an easy journey to their HEA and was fraught with not only angst between them, but threats from without. I loved grandfather and his wise ways that neither Marco nor Jai completely believed in until it was too late! There was so much action. The plot kept me constantly guessing, as there was danger and threats from all directions.

Wicked King was a phenomenal addition to a great series. While this can be read as a standalone, I urge you to start at the beginning with Ruthless King to see the intertwined characters and story arcs.

5 stars for the Spitfire and her Honey as they had to work really hard for their happily ever after!

Wow the fourth book in the Wicked Vows series and it did not disappoint. This is Marco and Jia's journey, one that is filled with action, heat and danger.

Neither Marco or Jia are happy to enter an arranged marriage, one that is necessary to bring some stability back into turmoil of the Chinese Triad and solidify both the Rossi's family and the Traid standings in the mafia world. I got quite lost in the first few chapters and got terribly confused about what was unfolding, but I feel that was intentional, weaving a web around not just the past but what the future could be.

Mafia life is all about the men, they rule, they give out the orders, heirarchy is paramount. Women are just arm candy, there to cater to mens every whim, inside the bedroom and out. Women must bear their babies, the heirs to there empires. After Jia's brother is killed and with no male heir, Jia finds herself in line to take over as head of the Four Seas, Chinese Triad, but as a women Jia knows it won't be easy.

Marco and Jia's arranged marriage is sprung on Jia and so the fun and games begin. The chemistry between them is steaming hot, but we get a real dance. Jia running in rings trying to avoid and stop the marriage. Marco surprisingly accepts the marriage and takes great delight in teasing Jia about their forthcoming nuptuals and wedding night!!

I loved watching the way Marco and Jia's characters morphed. Jia was always strong, but you almost get a Jia on steroids with her determination to not let this marriage happen, prove that she can take on the role of leader in the Triad, independantly and without a man. Marco ditching his playboy ways with out so much as blink, becoming Jia's protector. When Jia gets shot at their wedding, Marco turns into a massive touch her die man.

Marco and Jia's journey is one of two people whose pasts have left them with the belief that real love, if it exists, can only hurt you. Trust is something not freely given and hard to earn. Mafia life means danger is always around the corner, but the enemy is not always who you think it is. When the tables are turned and Marco's life is at risk, Jia has stand up, show her leadership and loyalty to the Triad and also as Marco's Wife her loyalty to him.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author tor review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is an arranged marriage book in the mafia world. It is the story of Jia and Marco. These two have to get married. The Rossi's have an alliance with the Black Seas Chinese triad and the marriage would go a long way to strengthen what they have worked so hard to make happen. Jia is the sister of the leader of the Black Sea When he is killed and has no heirs, Jia is put in the position of becoming the leader of the Chinese Triad. She is well aware that women in this world are only used as arm candy and to bear heirs. She has a long way to go to prove that she can be an absolutely amazing leader where a man once sat on the throne. Marco is willing to be by her side every single step of the way. However in her head she know that this marriage is exactly what needs to happen.. But in her heart she is very much of the mind that she can rule and doesn't need to man to do that. She wants to prove her worth on her name only. I loved these characters's Jia is strong and fierce and willing to step into a place where a man usually sits on a throne. She is almost over the top determined to prove herself. Marco though never bucked at all about having to marry her. He is willing to go to great lengths to protect her. They are both from this world and have seen way too many times that love is not real. It is put on in marriages that never would have happened if they didn't have to. I loved being there every step of the way. These are two amazingly strong characters that have some sizzling hot chemistry between them. There are twist and turns, moment that will have you losing your breath. I loved every single second of this book. You do not want to miss it. I am so sad this is the last book this world. I am so sad that it is coming to an end. I have loved every single one of the books and as a bonus, we go out with a big band.

Wicked King is the 4th book in the Kings of Temptation series. Each book is a standalone, but all stories do connect and are best read in order. Some tropes you will find are arranged marriage, mafia/crime family, enemies to lovers, touch her and die, he falls first, and tragic past.

After the murder of her brother, Jia is sent to run the Four Seas and will be the first female to do so, creating some turbulence within the traditional Triad. The Geminis are still dealing with issues from the Four Seas after their last altercation. Jia’s grandfather who is mostly out of the game sees what needs to be done and arranges a marriage between Marco & Jia, joining the two rivals and creating an alliance to stand against whoever is causing issues elsewhere in the city.

Neither is happy about this union, Jia least of all. On the day of their wedding, there is an attack at the church and Jia is shot, causing Marco to jump into action - no one hurts what is his, even if he does not necessarily want it. However…the more he cares for Jia while she’s injured, the more he realizes that he may actually care for the woman. That an arranged marriage doesn’t always have to be strictly contractual. Now, to convince Jia of that…

Saving the most elusive king for last, we’ve got Marco’s story!

I was so happy to get a joining of two rivals, it was the one thing that I felt this series was lacking in previous installments. Even though women in crime families are typically viewed as lesser than and weaker, there’s still ‘that dog’ in them that makes them a fighter and it always makes for delicious enemies to lovers' content. Jia was no exception. She was absolutely fierce. I’d say she’s the first FMC we’ve met in this series that was blood-thirsty like her partner and I loved that - a sort of Mr. & Mrs. Smith tag team of badassery.

The story itself moved quickly. Marco was brought up several times in previous books, and his reputation was less than stellar. Hopping from girl to girl, no intention of ever slowing or settling down. Jia was hyperfocused on her clothing line, no desire to be a part of the crime life. Both thrust into roles they never wanted and coming out finding the best of themselves in their forced life and in each other.

Overall this has been a fun series, I’d love to see more with some other crossovers or a focus on another family, but if this is truly the end then it’s been a good run! Can’t wait to see what Sienna brings us next.

✨ARC Review✨

Finally we get Marco’s book. After being teased with Marco’s story in Nico and Maisy’s book I have been just itching to get my hands on it and let me tell you it was a world wind👀

From the previous book in the series you will know that an arranged married was proposed between Marco and Jia and it did fall through upon the death of Jia’s brother but now Jia finds herself in a new situation in which she is now their heir of the Four Seas. Jia reluctantly takes on the new position but her grandfather urges her to have someone at her side to help her with her rein, and this is where Marco comes in👀

Now what I loved about this is Marco wants Jia to reign he never wants to take power away from her and thus he calls himself her enforcer.✨

This book is most definitely a slowburn, and there is most certainly a lot of tension between the MC’s as firstly both MCs are reluctant to the marriage but when that tension tips over the edge, all I have to say is damn😮‍💨

I understand Jia had a lot to work through in this book and her trust with Marco didn’t come easily (as it should be) but Jia definitely should of opened up to him more as he was doing with her. It took her quite some time to actually discuss her issues.

Marco is your typical playboy before meeting Jia but when he comes around to the idea of the marriage he is most certainly all in. He’s very protective of Jia and does absolutely everything to ensure she succeeds in all matters.

We again get cameos from all brothers in this book and their wives which I absolutely LOVED.

Now after reading all the brothers books I can definitely confirm my favourites in the series has to be Nico and Maisy’s book but I still enjoyed each of the brothers nonetheless 🫶🏼

Thank you so much to the author and greys promotion for providing this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭

I did not realize that this is part of an interconnected series.
But the author gave enough information and insight into all the characters and who they are affiliated with that I did not feel lost or confused while reading this book.
Marco and his brother run Gemini Corporation and are the head of their mafia family in Manhattan. Marco doesn’t take anything very seriously except his work.
He doesn’t really have a home. He goes from woman to woman.
Yes he is a player. But he tells his partners straight up that he doesn’t do love or relationships.
It now comes time for him to man up and do what is expected for the sake of his family and empire.
Jia was a very tough and uncompromising young lady.
She has a dream of designing and selling her own clothing line. She is determined to succeed and not let anyone or anything stand in her way.
I really liked Marco. He gave off the happy go lucky vibe. He has a boyish charm to him.
But still dangerous and deadly. And not to be messed with.
Jia at times was just mean and cruel. But as the story develops and more of her is revealed. I understood her better. I appreciated how strong and determined she was. But I also liked seeing her vulnerable side as well.
The chemistry between her and Marco could be felt simmering and brewing. Everything between them is intense and complex. But one thing that was not in dispute is their attraction for each other.
The story was good and I was invested in the characters. It’s a slow burn, enemies to lovers.
There is some drama and suspense that kept things lively and interesting.

Arc review;

‘Spitfire’ and ‘Honey’ end up having to get married due to power struggle within Jia’s family. Marcos is least as thrilled as well, as he does not believe in love nor commitment. While Jia, refuses to lose her independence and be tied to any man. Both struggle with the idea of marriage and how to come together to get the best of their present disadvantage. They’re both stubborn and refuse to allow the other in, nor admit that they have common similarities in traumas. Jia will have you rolling your eyes and screaming into a pillow of 75% of the book, then you start to get insights as to why she is so headstrong on her ways and not allowing herself to feel. Marcos was well written character, like the majority of Italian mafia books the man usually does tend to have playboy tendencies but once engaged does the full 180 and does right by his future partner.

This book does feel like it doesn’t go too in depth about why Marcos was so set on marriage being the worst thing possible for him in this life, it was brushed upon for 2 sentences in a weird part of the chapter. Verses Jia’s traumas and fears get a whole chapter almost, it was still vague. I felt the need for more about their individual characters within the mafia, you don’t get much about their roles are before nor after marriage. Jia is meant to be the first woman of power within their organization and it seems like she has no activity within, outside of her shop. I just wanted to see her fill those shoes within the Chinese mafia.

Self proclaimed bachelor for life, Marco Rossi, experienced bad relationships with love, which is why he's sworn to stay away from being tied down. When life, and his twin brother, Nico (Brutal King), require him to break that vow to bring peace to mafialand in Manhattan, he reluctantly sweats through the process knowing his bride-to-be hates him as much as the predicament both find themselves in. Our FMC, Jia Guo, who we briefly met in Brutal King, is the last living member of her family who can assume leadership of the Four Seas, one of the notorious gangs that make up the Chinese Triad, who also operate in Manhattan. She would prefer her fashion design career rather than preside over the gang, but her elderly retired grandfather, who started the Four Seas, implores her to assume her birthright after her foolish brother got himself recklessly killed.
Marco and Jia definitely have an oil and water reaction to the situation their families have pushed them into, and they continue the fight all the way to the wedding until something happens that causes each of them to re-look at their resistance. I found this story a bit refreshing on the arranged mafia marriage trope as neither party really wanted it to happen, until it did. Both Marco and Jia held deeply personal reasons for not wanting to enter into the relationship. The story makes a pivotal turn once they share those secrets with one another, and you can't help but root for this couple. Loved this story...saved the best for last!

📖 Wicked King
🖊️ Sienna Cross

This is the fourth book in Sienna’s King’s of Temptation series. This book follows Marco and Jia. When we left off form book 3, we know that Jia and Marco are forced into an arranged marriage as she is the heir to the Four Seas upon her father and brother’s death. Jia is reluctant to take on this new leadership role, and most of all, tie herself to Marco Rossi. She aspires to open up her own clothing shop and be a designer. I admired Jia’s independence; Sienna characterized her as a badass female who truly doesn't need no man. Marco on the other hand is your typical playboy who is suffering from a traumatic past. I did enjoy these two characters coming together, although their relationship is more of a slow burn that abruptly blazes in an inferno. The end of the book was jam packed with suspense and action, as Sienna ended each book in this series in a similar manner. This concludes the King’s of Temptation series, which I am sad about. After reading and enjoying each book, I can say that Luca and Stella’s book was my absolute favorite! Overall, I devoured the romance and dark and political world Sienna creates in this series. I am so excited to see what she does next! Thank you to Grey’s Promotions and Sienna for providing me with an ARC!

You know that feeling you get after reading a great story? Yeah I want more from them.
I loved Marco amd Jia. 2 powerhouse colliding, can only be either a big disastrous crash or an explosion of power, passion and strength.
From previous book we knew about Jia's arranged marriage to Nico didn't go ahead. So in this one, Nico has Managed to trick Marco to marry Jia.
Jia has become a hardened soul from abuse her father inflicted on her. She is strong, fiery, intelligent and an emotional mess.
Marco is never falling in love after losing someone in the past. So he plays around the field 🙈.
He wasn't prepared for the fire dragon Jia.
They start off as enemies and Jia really does push and push. I loved how Marco was fully invested and protective of his 'Wife', even if he didn't love her.
Their character growth and relationships progress was slow but so good.
The passion and chemistry was definitely palpable and heated. Jia being the heiress of the Four Seas and Marco being CEO of Gemini they are high targets.
They have enemies from all corners, can they eventually admit their love to each other or will it be too late?
Fantastic end to the series, with so much action, drama, twists, secrets, suspense, emotional and lots of great spice.
I loved how all 4 brothers are there supporting each other in the end.

“I must have done something right in this life to have been rewarded with a wife whose
pu$$y tastes like heaven.”

I struggled a lot with this book in the first half. I had a strong urge to chuck this at the dnf pile @ 19% because I was just plain bored. Even when there is action going on, I couldn't bring myself to care enough about the characters and story to keep going.
I kept reading, and within a page, he's going after another woman. I almost felt some sympathy to Marco for being forced into this by his brother, but then he does this, and I lose it all. Since I only got an additional page in after deciding to continue, I kept going. Luckily, it did get better for me. I actually finished the book.

Editing-wise, there was an instance of the wrong word used: your instead of you're.

Story-wise, though, there were so many problems for me. First being that her being the head of the Triad only seemed to be in there in order for a reason for the forced marriage. She didn't really seem to lead anything, and it felt unnecessary, except it being the reason for the wedding.
Second, the issue with Blanca was stretched out over 2 books, and it wasn't really a surprise or a twist at the end when she ended up exactly as we all expected.

I had issues between Marco and Jia, too. They hated each other and didn't get along. I didn't really feel anything change between them except suddenly they love each other. I didn't really feel it, so it didn't work for me.

I doubt I would read this one again, and I am glad this series is done. On to another one!

With this book Sienna Cross has saved the best for last and in a series as good as the Kings of Temptation has been that’s high praise indeed. Wicked King features an arranged marriage between Marco Rossi, head of the Geminis and Jia Guo, the last living member of her family thus making her the ipso facto head of the Four Seas triad. This is the last thing she wants but refusal is not an option with death the only way out, but someone out there has made the choice for her and soon Jia finds herself the victim of several assassination attempts. I loved how well matched the hero and heroine were. With two strong characters such as Marco and Jia it was obvious from the start there was going to be fireworks between them and, although their story began as a slow burner, it soon sparked to life, rapidly becoming a conflagration. They were like two cats fighting in a sack with some deliciously wicked banter between them which soon turned to passion. Initially both were reluctant to marry. All Jia wanted was to live her life free of the triads but given the options she really didn’t have much of a choice. The plot itself was fast paced, filled with action and suspense, ramping up the tension of who was behind the attempts on Jia’s life built before reaching a dramatic conclusion and a fantastic epilogue which tied the series up in a big red bow.

Definitely worth the wait and worth the read!! Marco was everything and a bag of chips for me I enjoyed the heck out of this book and i definitely loved that after I read book 3 I thought I knew what direction this book might have taken but Sienna Cross said nahhhhh hold my keyboard I got something even better for ya!! One thing that will always hook me in a book is the banter between the two characters and I can honestly say that Marco and Jia delivered!! This is definitely a journey and I loved that twist and turns it took to get us through!! Chefs kiss 💋
🌶️3.5/5: least not be mistaken please the spice was spicin and the heat was there but this was a bit of a slow burn into the spice but I enjoyed the tension that was built and then combusted in such a great way between Marco and Jia!!

This is book 4 in this series and can it be read as a standalone?.. I mean technically yes but to get the full understanding of each character and the side characters that do make cameos/are talk about it’s better to read and enjoy in order!!

-Happy Reading 📖

Wicked King
Kings of Temptation #4
By Sienna Cross
Narrated by Tor Thom, Fiola Clare

This is the best of the series! Sienna Cross saved the best for last, and now we have Jia and Marco's amazing love story! Jia did not want to take over the Four Seas. She knows it's her duty, but she has a life outside the family, and is not happy with what is being asked of her. The idea of strengthening the families by marrying Marco. She wants to hate him, but it's hard. From the start, Marco has said he doesn't want to get married. He enjoys his playboy ways. But this could be the answer for his family, and has agreed to marry her. Little did these two know it would be so much more than convenience. Cross weaves a suspenseful story with a growing love.It had me rooting for these two the whole time, falling for the charismatic Marco and I loved getting to see all the others from the first three stories. Add in the amazing advice that only Jia's grandfather could give, and this is a winner. Loved it!

Tor Thom and Fiona Clare finish out the series with their amazing voices. A series of accents and characters all brought to life by these two! I enjoyed the flow, the personalities, the consistency from book to book and that feeling of closeness that all these brothers feel. It's a wonderful series and this one is absolutely my favorite!

Wicked King by Sienna Cross is a dark, mafia romance filled with tension, passion, and power plays. The story follows Marco King, a brutal yet captivating ruler, and his arranged marriage, which is initially a cold, calculated move to secure his empire. However, beneath the surface, a sizzling temptation between the couple can't be ignored.

The fourth book in the Kings of Temptation series, it works as a standalone, though the author references previous events from earlier books. The slow-burn romance between Jia and Marco builds gradually, with Jia's resistance being both frustrating and drawn out. While Marco’s character develops well from a playboy to a doting husband, Jia’s growth feels stagnant, which affects the story's pacing. Despite this, the plot is strong, balancing tension, action, and romance with witty dialogue and sizzling chemistry.

“I want it all with you,” he whispers against my lips.”

“I must have done something right in this life to have been rewarded with a wife whose pussy tastes like heaven.”

While Wicked King isn’t groundbreaking, it offers a satisfying ending and leaves readers craving more from the couple's story. It’s a solid finale to the series, though not quite top-tier.
