Christmas is all about the family gatherings, the festive sparkle, the gifts… But for Amelia, there’s only one thing she loves at Christmas, and that’s spending the two-week holiday in her own company, drinking wine, reading books, and binge-watching her favourite shows. Amelia has always had a dislike for Christmas, but when she found her obnoxious boyfriend lip-locked with the office bimbo on Christmas Eve, her warm heart shrivelled up, and that dislike turned to hate.

Until she bumped into Jake at the hardware store.

Christmas Encounters is just the perfect book to read at this time of year. It was just absolutely lovely, although did put my emotions through the wringer at one point!! Get reading, people!

Curl up for a feel good Christmas read
Primary school teacher Amelia Clark meets drama teacher Jake Meadows in a DIY store. A chance encounter, can Jake make Amelia change from a hater to a Christmas lover? he is her Mr hot and handsome. This book was so good I loved it. Heart-warming luscious a feel good read from a brilliant author.

K.M. Lowe is a talented author who brings us a light-hearted story about two hearts coming together at Christmas. When Amelia nearly beheads Jake with a Christmas tree one would think this story would take a turn for the worse. Not at all as it's only the beginning of Jake and Amelia's story. Christmas has not always been kind to Amelia and is definitely not her favorite holiday. Jake is determined to change all of that. Can he do it in the short amount of time leading up to Christmas or will Amelia remain a Scrooge forever? You'll need to read this festive story to find out. Again, K.M. Lowe is a talented author who brings us an incredible storyline with well-developed characters you're sure to love.

Ms. Lowe has given us readers a real treat with Christmas Encounters. This is a meet-cute romance that will have you laughing and smiling throughout. It’s well written and the characters are just so darn loveable you can’t help but root for them. Amelia is a single, clumsy, elementary school teacher who has come to loathe Christmas time. When her boss tells her that her class must participate in the school’s holiday play, she knows she has to start by decorating the classroom. She meets Jake when she hits him with the Christmas Tree he is buying and I do mean literally hits him with the tree! She then runs into him again at the park while they were walking their dogs and again at her parents' hotel while preparing a holiday event. It’s here Jake learns three things: 1) Amelia truly hates Christmas for some reason 2) Fate is trying to tell him something as they keep bumping into each other and 3) he is bound and determined to show her Christmas is a time for fun, family and happy times. Boy does he have his work cut out for him.

This is a story that this reader will be reading over and over at Christmas time in the years to come. It is funny, quirky and oh so romantic.

This was a fabulous light-hearted romance and an amazing story line for it. The characters were brilliantly put together and the personalities of them really brought the book to life. K. M Lowe is a fantastic author and this is just a small sample of her amazing work.

- no one would ever expect the story to take a turn for the worst
- but it is the only the beginning  for  Jake and Amelia's story

- but Jake is very determined  to change that for Amelia
- there is only a short amount of time before it is christmas to change it for Amelia or will Amelia will end up being h a Scrooge forever ?

When a romance starts with an almost beheading by christmas tree, things can only get better for our MC's surely!!

Take Christmas, a grinchy primary school teacher, a golden retriever - sunshine handyman and a bunch of cute as a button kids and this is the ultimate meet-cute Christmas romcom. It balances sweet and funny without being twee and syrupy.

Clutzy Amelia and nice-guy Jake are the prefect couple. He's determined to make her see the joy of Christmas, whilst she is mired in all the things that have befallen her during the season. Fate seems determined to put them together, they meet 3 times within a short period of time. Fred and Nala steal the show as all pets in a romcom must!

This reads like a Hallmark movie that won't make you roll your eyes so hard they fall out of your head!

I seemed to lose my reading mojo and this was the perfect book to bring it back. It’s a nice easy read and feel good Christmas read. If you have bad things happen to you around Christmas time it can easily put you off it. Being a teacher of year one children and you not liking Christmas are not a good pairing. Getting a Christmas tree and nearly taking the head off Mr Hot and Handsome might help you to change your mind. Jake makes it his mission to make her fall back in love with Christmas. This book will help get you in the Christmas spirit

I absolutely love curling up and reading a great Christmas story and K.M Lowe's are some of the best.

A chance encounter involving a Christmas tree gives Amelia a Christmas to remember with Jake.

After a not so perfect Christmas two years ago, Amelia has given up on being merry and cheerful. Then this year she almost takes a guy out with a Christmas tree - could this season get any worse for her? Or will Jake (Christmas tree guy), give Amelia a reason to smile again? And all before Christmas Day.

A festive, light hearted, heart warming story. Perfect for those chilly nights.

Absolutely loved this story.

Amelia hates Christmas. After a chance encounter with Jake, and a Christmas tree, she starts to change her mind. Slowly and surely, he wins her round And don't forget the secondary characters, gorgeous little pugs, Fred and Nala.

It gives you all the feels you want from a Christmas love story. A perfect read to snuggle up under a warm fuzzy blanket, drinking hot chocolate, and with Christmas lights twinkling in the background.

Christmas Encounters is a heartwarming romance story, filled with adorable dogs,  a gentleman of your dreams and a clumsy, no filter woman.

"You mark my word, when the right man comes along, they won't look at another woman like they look at you. You'll be their moon and stars. Their one true love. Everyone deserves that kind of love."

Christmas Encounters is one of the authors best work to date, in my opinion. It's well written, and Amelia and Jake are perfect for each other, without it being over the top cute.

It's a perfect read for a couple of hours in front of the fire with a cup of hot cocoa or tea!

Christmas Encounters by K.M. Lowe is the sweet, tender story of Jake and Amelia. They meet when she nearly clobbers him with a tree! She’s not a big fan of Christmas, but she has to prepare her class for the Christmas Tree theme. Little does she know that he’s about to change everything!

This story touched my soul. She’s such a scrooge…rightfully so, given her past Christmases. But, Jake swoops in and changes everything! Heart-warming read!!

This is a warm and fluffy, feel good Christmas themed read. That I've only given 4 stars to as I would love to read more about these guys!
So Amelia has a bit of a dislike against Christmas and that's made worse when she brings her boyfriend for Christmas dinner. Cue a few years down the line when Christmas Tree shopping brings hot and handsome Jake into her life.
Sweet, adorable, emotions, great characters and overall a fab wee read!

A light-hearted, fun, and festive read from K.M. Lowe.

For Amelia, Christmas isn't her favourite time of year. If it was up to her, she would hibinate for festive season, but a trip for a Christmas tree could be about to change all when when she meets Jake. That meeting is the first if many that fate has in store for the pair. Will Amelia allow Jake to show her the true meaning of Christmas and heal her heart at the same time.

What a delightfully well-written read! This is my first book by K.M. Lowe. I will be reading more from her. Jake and Amelia's story has all the feels! It's fun, sweet, sexy, charming, and heartfelt. Perfectly matched characters. If you love Christmas stories, Christmas Encounters is deserving of your reading time. 5 stars.

This is a light, holiday read. The characters are amazing. She hates Christmas...... Amelia is a school teacher who loves kids, but will she find her forever? She has a dog, which I love even more!!!!!!! This was a really good heartfelt book with emotions running high.

This was a lovely, quick HEA read to help kick off the Christmas season. I thought the author did a great job of conveying the FMC’s aversion to the season without her becoming a true Scrooge or turning us off. I enjoyed the build up, and Fred stole the show.

Wonderful story characters to both love and hate, twists and funny events. A swoon worthy hero and cute pugs. A time of year most love but some struggle with, I for one understood her trepidation an worry. This story had so much with the banter and everything that happens, I thoroughly enjoyed it, smiling through most but also having the odd frown. This couple were made for each other and this is an ideal seasonal read that could be enjoyed at any time of the year. It starts out amazingly upbeat before it dips and evens out and ends on a fabulously happy ever after. It's a seasonal delight, a story to savour at any time but especially around Christmas time. It's not about gifts it's about spending quality time with those you love and who love you. I loved Jake and how easy going he was and how he worked to give Amelia a better memory of this special time of year.
