Dre’Sean, better known as Rebel, has been a part of Indiya’s life for as long as she can remember. He and his sister, Courtnei, are like family to Indiya, but somewhere along the way, Indiya began to look at Dre through a new lens. The plot is silly. What's the point of Montrell being Indy's "boyfriend" when he's not really her boyfriend. It was better to make him just an enemy of Dre who is gunning for them. What kept blowing me is Indy acting dumb. Ma'am Montrell is your "boyfriend". You sleeping with your best friend Dre and flaunting it right in his face. Indy was mad at Trell for being mad that he suspects her and Dre when they are really having sex. That aspect was dumb as hell. I kept scrunching my face at every time she played dumb like she didn't know why Montrell was tripping. Even if Montrell is written to be the bad guy later, that whole dynamic made no sense. Its a hit or miss with this author on plots.

Friends to lovers? Yes please ! Dre and Indiya had a cute friendship that evolved into a romantic relationship. This came with drama, spice, street life and hating ass ex’s I loved every page !
