But just when I think I've got him wrapped around my finger, Two little lines turn my world upside down.
Welcome to Luka and Sophia’s world!🌹🌹
‘The Oath of Seduce’ is a sizzling Russian dark mafia romance that combines the best of the three books from ‘Ivankov Bratva Series’. (A Standalone)
This baby is a special ‘Ivankov Legacy Edition’ - packed with all the juicy chapters from the original series, plus a bunch of extra-spicy bonus content that'll leave you fanning yourself.
I love this one. As I started reading this book I thought hum this sounds familiar. I kept trying to remember what book. I searched and found this one had been written by Mya Grey (same author) and the series has been renamed. When you get older you can reread books, enjoy them an sometime surprised by them. I enjoyed my reread. It’s a Bratva book who’s at war (of course) and an innocent are being used to spy on them in order to save her brother and bff. This book is typical Bratva and may have triggers (I have no triggers). There’s a list in the front of the so be sure you check them out. I love a good love story filled with action, suspense, battles, a sweet little girl and her dog and is full of steam.
Luka and Sophia’s electricity could light a city 24/7! You can feel Luka’s touch with every written word. Luka and Sophia have the sparks crackling and the heat building. Sophia isn’t the only one who has her body clenching! Just the thought of Luka, hot! And his love for Yulia just adds to his seductive allure. Sophia is so lost. Talk about a nail biting, panty soaking finish. Luka and Sophia’s story is so complex and beautiful. The twists and turns and the surprises are delectable. Couldn’t have a better ending.
Intriguing, fast-paced, and steamy. Expect lots of twists, exciting action, and a hard fought for happily ever after. These are typical mafia males, over the top alphas. So sit back and enjoy the heat.
I really enjoyed the story of Luka and Sophia. This book was well written and paced with plenty of suspense, intrigue, mystery, deceit and sensual attraction between Luka and Sophia. The storyline is unique and presented in a way that wasn't predictable. These two characters sizzle off the page and are well matched even with all the drama that is unfolding between them. It's got plenty of angst, sexual tension, love and forgiveness to satisfy readers of this genre. The secondary characters in this book are all well vetted and will hopefully get their own stories.
Sophia ends up in Luka's house as Nanny for Yuliia when she is forced to spy on Luka and the Ivankov's in order to save her brother's life who is being held hostage by Luka's uncle. This story has plenty of depth as well as sizzing attraction between our two main characters as the deceit plays out. Sophia is really over her head as her feelings for Yuliia grows as well as her relationship with Luka. The opps pregnancy turns everything at that point on its ear. She is torn between telling him the truth and losing her brother. There is a mole in the Ivankov staff who is watching Sophia's every move which causes trust issues between Sophia and Luka until that person's identity is revealed. As the suspense builds, the story provides a well-played battle to finally bring the people down that are trying to destroy Luka and the Ivankov's
The ending was a nice surprise but was a perfect ending for our two main characters and the people that loved them.
I love Mya’s books, at this point I think I may have read all of them. I started reading this one and though, wow, this sounds familiar. Well that’s because it was. It’s Luka Ivankov and Sophia Williams story. The first time around it was three separate books, I loved that this time it was all one book. I always love rereading Mya’s books, this isn’t the first one I’ve reread. Sophia is a great character, smart and feisty, but she gets drawn into an ugly Bratva war because her brother makes a big mistake. Sent to spy on Luka to save her brother and her best friend who are being held captive. Her first run in with Luka ends with them in bed, which is a great foretelling for the rest of the book. The next time the meet is when she applies for the position of nanny for his niece. She ends up being the nanny for his niece Yulia.
This is NOT mafia light, this has lots of dark themes, sizzling steamy scenes with the two main characters, violence, betrayal, plot twists, and all the heat to seriously overheat the kitchen. Mya is a master at world building and character creation, her bad guys are truly evil, you seriously cannot wait to see them get their just deserts. Even though the mmc’s are morally grey, (because who doesn’t love a man who’ll burn down the world for the woman he loves?), they are loyal to their family and friends. The characters dialogue, I always have to laugh, she is so good and making the main characters best friend or second be the one who can give him a hard time. It’s hilarious. And yes, after the roller coaster ride there is a scorching hea.
Although this book is long, it combines two into one book.
There is alot of twists, love making, some rough scenes but mostly alot of tenderness with the introduction of a little girl.
I enjoyed the depth of all the characters we met and their own involvement in the storyline.
I would've liked her pregnancy earlier on so we could see the protective side of Luka come out. I also would've liked to have the birth. I enjoyed the connection that Mya Grey emphasised in the final chapter.
I was shocked at the changes that had been made in the final chapter because I loved the 3 brothers connection.
Again I would've liked a 'translation' page just to make reading the book easier. But there was a lot less Russian compared to her first book and the words were repeated more often.
Now to the next book which I hope is Wren & Dimitri.
Luka and Sophie, getting to that happy isn't going to be easy but with any Mafia nothing is easy, right? I enjoyed this story because it was just enough story I didn't get bogged down and the story flowed well and was fast-paced. Our nanny is in the "lion's den", her job is to get the secrets to bring down the Ivankov and her brother's life hangs on her doing her job. Whew, talk about intrigue, betrayal... there are definitely some dark happenings going on. Sophie will be left with a choice to make. Great story, with great characters a mix of personality from the characters, detail of the story and heat. Enjoy
To save her brother Sophie goes undercover into Luca's home to spy on him to save her brother. Luca becomes enthralled with Sophie and right when she thinks she has everything under control she is met with two pink lines. Decision, decisions! Now she is faced with the ultimate choice will she come clean to Luca or save her brother. This story kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
This was a great book. Does Wren ever get her life together while taking care of her step brother and sister? Does the alcoholic father ever get his life together? Then Wren gets the big surprise of her of she is pregnant. Wren decides to run but the wicked Elena wants to destroy her child’s father D. Does D save his son or is the son shot? Does D survive? Does Wren ever marry the father of her child? Very fast paced book! You will love it!
Although I am reading this as an ARC copy, I have read it before. I'm sure under a different name, or Amazon would have told me it was already read. That said, I enjoyed it before and I'm sure gave it a 5, and I give it a 5 again. I Look forward to reading book 2 in this series.
I really enjoyed this fast paced, steamy romance. Luca and Sophie are great characters with amazing chemistry. I enjoyed the drama and suspense. The story had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. It’s a must-read.
This a wonderful, intense Bratva romance. The intensity between Sophia and Luka keeps you reading page after page. A must read. I can’t wait for Wren’s story!! That was one bad$$$ best friend.
The guy, a mafia guy who has been betrayed in the past, just forgives her? Not only does he forgive her, he doesn't even question her loyalty afterwards. The Banker by Penelope Sky was far more interesting with the same premise.
Mya grey does it again. I have loved everything I’ve read by her. This is action packed and super spicy. If you loved her past mafia books you’ll love this too. I’m on a mission to read everything she has written.
This is my first book from Mya Grey and I loved it!!! Has everything I like in a mafia romance. It actually has mafia action and not pages and pages of smexy scenes. I can't wait to read the next one.
“See! I told you Beauty and the Beast would be together!” Yulia exclaims, her excitement unmistakable. She claps her hands together with such joy that it’s infectious.
A hot and spicy romance in a dark and dangerous world . Lots of twists and turns to hold your interest with interesting characters and ongoing character development and growth. A well written story. The kind you just cat put down .
Luka and Sophia's relationship could light up a city. But their secrets could cause a blackout. Until they are honest with each other their relationship will go no where. A must read.
Such a good love story with drama of the Bratva mixed in. All the characters were well developed and each with a genuine style. Highly recommend Mya Grey.
