Latoya's Blues: A Novella

Rate this book
Latoya’s marriage checked all the right boxes. Her husband, Cortez, was kind, loyal, respectful, caring, and the love he had for his wife was unwavering. However, Latoya longed for one thing that would make her marriage whole—a family.
After several attempts to conceive and testing procedures, Latoya and Cortez lose hope of creating a bundle of joy.
Battling depression and feelings of isolation, Latoya’s love for her husband soon starts to dissipate. With her emotions going wild, she falls into the arms of another man. He’s a smooth-talking and crafty brother with whom she starts an affair. Racing into a new life with a new man, Latoya was on a high. She never saw the storm brewing until she was caught in the eye.
Blindsided by infatuation and naïveté, Latoya must find her way out of the deep waters before everything fails, including her.

Finding What Is Your True Self Is!

Isis, this is such a nice read. How many women find themselves in a position that they felt was was the right thing. With growth I think the choices we make sometimes hurt others but in the end if your not healthy in your own mind how can you be good for a mate ?
Do I agree with Latoya choice no, but I understand. I feel foe Cortez, though I pray he finds his peace🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Latoya & Cortez

They need to get it together. All the back and forth between them but I understand her decision that she made because you’re always supposed to choose yourself before anyone especially if you’re not happy.
