After a blazing hot encounter, Noah vanishes, leaving nothing behind except questions. Did he leave voluntarily, or was he taken? Well, let's put it this way. Winning quarterbacks don't get ghosted all that often. So whoever thinks they can disappear Noah has another think coming. I don't care who I have to knock down to get what I want. And, this time, what I want is a lot bigger than another notch in the W column. This time, I want Noah. And I'm going to bring him home.
A Bully Ever After Novel was adapted from Episodes 58-103 of Bully Ever After, first written as an original gay romance serial for the Vella platform. If you've already read those episodes on Vella, you won't notice any huge changes in the ebook version. The ebook format lets you binge, so get ready for a wild ride. The first three novels in the series are best read in this *Snap, Book # 1 *Interception, Book # 2 *Touchdown, Book # 3
This is the second book of Bully Ever After where Slate is looking for Noah and the team has an investigator looking for hackers. Bill Mitchell a cyber investigator thinks Noah is the guilty person. Slate knows that is false but Noah is nowhere to be found. Things are getting weird, flowers in Slate’s dorm, tracker on his car among other incidents. This also ends on a cliffhanger but I am anxious to see what happens next.
Swamp monsters, Matt & Brute, Deep-fried chocolate cake donuts, Yesyesyes!
This story is a compelling mystery that has likeable characters. It's cunning and clever. My only complaint is that this has a cliffhanger. Don't get me wrong, this is enjoyable and entertaining, just unsatisfying. I hope this story concludes in the next book, the last of the series. If you don't mind cliffhangers, then give this book a read.
I really can't wait for the next book in this series. The disappearance of Noah has given some people their chance to blame him for the hacking, but Slate is convinced someone has done something to Noah. Too many creepy things don't add up to anything else for him. I'm invested in these two and I'm really hoping he's right in the faith he has that Noah isn't a baddie.
We are now into part two of Slate and Noah's story. It continues to get more interesting as Slate searches for Noah as more questions come up as to what is really going on. We wonder who is the real threat.
