Mike's behind on his rent, and Jeff has a car repair to make so he can visit his girlfriend. When they hear a rumor that their assistant coach, Coach Kinger, has a side hustle using the sports camera for more than game analysis, they can't help but wonder if there are opportunities for fast cash.

C.D. Truncheon is from Portland, Oregon. There, he developed a knack for writing stories about young guys who are discovering their bodies and desires for the first time—sometimes with friends, sometimes with mature men, often in unsupervised locker rooms and outdoor camps where family and girlfriends won't find out. His favorite theme: new adults trained by strict parents to overachieve at the expense of their personal truths and carnal needs. In his spare time, Truncheon enjoys horseback riding and scrapbooking.

This was a hot little story, and it takes place in the mid 1970s, when porn was not something people could access on their phones or laptops. Our two MCs need money for college and find themselves working with one of their coaches to earn some money on the sly doing sex stuff on camera. It's an enjoyable tale, but purely about sex. No romance here to speak of.

Capturing on film the reality of friends-to-lovers.

The finish line in most sporting events is a line that the winner must cross first. It might be a line drawn on the ground, painter on the floor, or even a row of lights. For most runners, the line might be a tape stretched above the actual line to assist in determining who is first to cross the actual line in a photo finish situation.

In real life, the line may be completely mental or emotional as it represents an invisible line than can never be uncrossed. It is much more significant as it is a true life experience change that can affect the rest of your life. It is even more critical if the line was a partner or team goal that has far reaching implications and effects, often determined by outsiders without full knowledge of the situation.

It is one thing to experiment in a tent while camping away from everyone. It is another to record the activities and emotions of the lovers on film made available for sale to the public. The loss of control of your life may be staggering and far reaching among family, friends, school, church, and community.
