Solid content with an update for the AI world. The fundamentals are still the same: use social media to connect and have conversations with your audience. The tools have changed, but not dramatically, when you drill down. The speed at which we work, however, is the biggest development. The stronger our online communities are, the faster we can respond because it's not the company or brand responding--it's the ambassadors who align with our brands. This is a quick primer that I'm planning to share.

(Note: I listened to the audiobook version which was voiced by an AI version of Mark's voice. While it was good, the more I listened, the more I could tell. I work in radio, so that's probably why.)

Simple straightforward advice

What I appreciate about Mark is the way he gets to crux of an issue, offers some thought provoking questions for the reader and some advice to tackle said problem. In between he gives great examples to illustrate his point, to make it really clear on next step.

The book is a quick read, but don’t let that fool you. There are lots of great tidbits to sit with and consider how you are building your social media plan especially in a world of AI. I highly recommend this book for those starting out on a social media strategy or someone who maybe wants a book to help rethink what they are doing with their social media strategy.
