I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It is a bit dark with the murders and betrayals. I liked that Eva and Dante overcome the differences of their opinions to be together as they both wanted.

Good short exciting storyline, full of suspense, intrigue, mayhem, betrayal, romance, and hot sex 💥💋👅🔥. There's a setup, constant leaks, someone will die, again 😳. Good read!

I received a ARC via Booksprout, and I'm leaving a voluntary review.

Weekend Read

What can one say about this book? Simply, this is how you start your weekend. Grab your sunblock/screen and your reader/hardcover and let the island breeze take you away….

The granted, there was times that I wanted to just reach right in and smack some body… but the chemistry of the entire book kept me pushing for more.

I’m SOOO looking for more.

Any opinions, recommendations, or suggestions expressed within this review our Solely and uniquely made by me. I originally and voluntarily received in advance copy of this book the Bsprout.

Dante and Eve broke up a year ago. Dante still loves her and will do anything to protect her. His enemy wants her dead. Good mafia story.

I love a good mafia story and this one had all of the markings to be a good one. I think it fell a bit short on not much mafia goings on. I thought it a bit strange that Dante's right had person was his cousin, usually that falls on a man. I also did not like the way he was talking to her initially when she was telling him about Eva being in trouble - he went from zero to 100.

When Eva and Dante were reunited, the back and forth between them, mainly on Eva's side was annoying but of course they eventually get back together, only for her get taken in the night. Dante being a mafia man did not have the kind of security you would expect so that was kind of off putting for me.

I'm not going to spoil the end but there is a twist which barely saves the book.

I received an advanced copy of this book.

This is the 2nd book in the “Bodyguards Of Passion Series.” This is an entertaining fast-paced easy quick read that has its share of danger, drama, suspense, mystery, mayhem, twists, turns, betrayal, second chance at romance, great characters and a mafia plot. Eva is a journalist, and Dante is a mafia boss. Eva and Dante share a pass. When Eva witness a mafia murder her life is in danger. Dante finds out that Eva is in danger so he has her abducted and taken to his Bahamas mansion. As Dante is weaving his way back into Eva’s life things are heating up.

Eva walked away from Dante because she was not a fan of his mafia lifestyles, is there a second chance for romance, will Dante be able to continue to protect Eva and keep her out of danger.

I received an ARC via Booksprout and I am leaving my review voluntarily.

Eva and Dante are written in the stars, is she could just accept his life as a Mafia Don. Their story is full of suspense and betrayal. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
