Valek Villainous, an incubus demon seasoned by half a century of battling rogue angels in the mortal realm, finds himself out of sorts. Seeking solace and authenticity, she harmonizes the practical knowledge acquired from her time in the human dimension with the innate magical abilities coursing through her veins, culminating in the creation of her own haven of a relaxation retreat nestled in the quaint and unassuming village of Mystic Grove.

Gleeful Goblin Review: I totally love the idea of a supernatural relaxation and wellness retreat so having it as the backdrop for this story is a kick! "I walk past each room, ensuring everything is set perfectly for today’s clients. Although my idea seemed outlandish at first—a spa for monsters—it has quickly become one of the fastest-growing businesses in Mystic Grove. When I reach the front, I tidy up the welcome packets containing silverweed lotions and moonflower teas and place them next to neatly folded towels enchanted to always feel cool. The little things have given us an impeccable reputation for customer service. Sorcery & Serenity was never meant to be a complex business venture. It’s a bridge between worlds and species—where beings from all corners of darkness and light can shed their fears and prejudices like humans shed clothes. Here, they are guests in need of respite from their eternal struggles. As I watch through the gossamer curtains draping the front windows, shadowed and ethereal figures begin arriving. A vampire donning a pair of sunglasses, a demon whose eyes flicker like dy¡ng embers, and a water nymph walking with a yoga mat under her arm step through the front door, ready to start their days with a desire to reset and relax. After all, even monsters need to unwind."

Our MMC Valek is certainly in need of a chance to unwind but also renew his sense of self. He has a lot of wistfulness and regret over feeling like he can't remember what it is to love or be loved and since his brother has recently found love he's perfectly positioned to set Valek on the right path to his destiny, Odette. And while love has struck Valek like a ton of bricks from the first moment he scents Odette, she's not immediately bought into the whole thing because as a witch she's able to pick her path, her fate, and her love. So, seeing the adorable lengths Valek will go to in order to change her mind is charming. 5/5 Stars.

This was a sweet, with some steam, fated mates novella! I love how the author really paints a picture with her words, it’s like you can vividly imagine the scenes and the characters. Odette was a strong, stubborn witch who tried so hard to resist the bond and forge her own destiny. But Valek and fate were far stronger and it was a fight she was never going to win. I also liked that there was some character building with Valek, and how his world view was shaped and changed by love. There’s some conflict between them and a side character which I though added some necessary tension. I wished personally there was a bit more of them together and a longer explanation of how they worked it out with her sister in the end. But overall it was a great story! No cheating, no OM/OW drama, I believe she was a virgin (hinted to innocence), HEA and an epilogue in the future. Will definitely be reading more from this author!

The story was fine, but I didn't really feel anything for the main characters.
Odette seemed flip-floppy, saying that she didn't want a mate then throwing herself at him. Valek was dedicated at least, but he was a bit too dominating when they got together for the first time. Were they both supposed to be virginal? He said he was waiting for her, and in her dream she lost her virginity with him, but it wasn't clear when they had sex. If they were I don't think she would be able to walk normally after the scene in her spa, he was described as having enormous dick and didn't really go slow ;)
There was a sudden change of his eye color from one chapter to the other, once he had obsidian eyes, then piercing blue. The novella could use a bit more editing, there were a few other writing errors, wrong articles or repetitions.

This was an awesome PNR romance with a HEA and just a bit of family drama. 😉 Valek is an Incubus that is kind of ordered by his brother to take a break and visit Sorcery& Serenity. Where paranormal creatures can meditate and have a spa day to finally feel serene and happy. He never thought he would find his mate until he sees Odette a witch and owner of the retreat. But demons and witches don't like each other. Valek doesn't care about politics and prejudice, he just wants his woman and to make her happy for eternity.🥰 Instalove, fated mates, PNR, sweet, steamy, romantic and safe with a sweet HEA and no OP drama😍😍😍😍

This was a wonderful story of Valek the demon who reluctantly agreed to go to Sorcery & Serenity where he met Odette. The minute he walked in he knew she was his mate but she was a strong independent woman who waz too stubborn to admit hey feelings she was having for him.
However, although they acknowledged the were each other's fated mates & about to start a life together nit every body was happy about it & she was torn away from him.
Once you start reading this you won't want to stop & I nearly ended up missing work after I'd started reading it in my lunch break.

I really enjoyed this story. Incubus, Valek, goes home to his brothers castle after spending a long time away on Earth, collecting souls. When he arrives his brother is happy and mated. He insists Valek attends a new wellness centre to unwind. Witch, Odette, is running her new wellness centre after returning from Earth where she was protecting her niece. As soon as he catches her scent Valek knows he’s found his mate. Convincing Odette is a bit more tricky! Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, a loving, determined hero, a little family drama and a wonderful HEA.

This was a fun read. The paranormal spa was an interesting way to go. Having a Demon and a witch pair up was fun. He is a disbeliever in what she does. But he is also a disbeliever of soulmates too.
Odette and Valek make an interesting couple. Being someone who is the definition of an independent woman being forced over and over again to alter her way of thinking for fate is not what she wanted. But time and again she keeps being proven wrong. Having a niece fall under the soulmate list also has her thinking it may be a things.

Valek is an Incubus demon and Odette is a witch and these two meet when he goes to Sorcery & Serenity a wellness retreat. Odette and Valek turn out to be fated mates in this fun novella. This is a fated mates, paranormal romance with interesting characters and a story that held my attention from beginning to end. Incu-bliss is a great addition to the multi-author Mated to the Monster: Season 2 series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Opposites To Fated Mates
Odette owns Sorcery and Serenity Spa - she breathes peace and tranquility. Valek can’t relax for the life of him, thinks this is bogus, and is only visiting the Spa to appease his brother the King. Of course, as soon as Valek scents and sights Odette, he immediately knows that she is the female that now owns his heart. Reading these two try to find middle ground made for an entertaining read; Valek was so awkward, it was a hoot to read. A fun and steamy read.

This was a very good fated mates romance. It was a short story that had a good pace. I really enjoyed the way it handled the issue of who’s worthy of a fated mate, it made the story even more interesting. Valek and Odette had great chemistry and I liked them together.

Valek is an incubus demon in a rut. His brother suggests taking a break at the monster spa. He meets Odette his dated mate and something he never expected to find. He is all in. It she has doubts and as she overcomes them their love is truly beautiful!! A sweet novella full of love, spice and a great HEA.

I really enjoyed the monster spa! I love imagining all the monsters meditating and our main character doing yoga—it's such a fun visual!

I also liked our main character; he’s so devoted to his mate. But I have to wonder about their first “encounter.” Was it a dream or something real?.

This is book 9 Mated to the Monster season 2 starring Valek Villainous and Odette Blackfire. WOW talk about down right hilarious from the first meeting all the way to the end. I have to say Valek is well behaved for a Demon that just meet his mate.

A Blissful Tale

This was a blissful romantic tale. I enjoyed this adult fairytale between an inch bus and a witch. I also liked the spa setting. Never thought mythical beings using spa services would be so adorable. And the MC trying yoga and needing help to get out of a position was cute. Finally getting back together when she was whisked away, they got their HEA.

I loved this story! I only wish it was longer. I loved reading about Valek and Odette. Odette has setup a serenity spa for any magical creature that wants to find peace. Valek is a demon who has spent time on Earth collecting souls. He comes home to a different home. His brother has dramatically changed and encourages him to find peace as well. Valek is hesitant at first until he discovered that Odette is his fated mate. They shouldn’t work but somehow they fit. Will they be able to find their happily ever after?
