Edison Steelhead's Lost Portfolio: Exploratory Studies of Girls and Rabbits

Rate this book
A collection of illustrations of bunnies and girls, done by Renee French's character Edison Steelhead. This book catalogs the moment each picture was drawn as well as mapping the places they were drawn. Both beautiful and disturbing, this book is wonderfully engrossing. From the acclaimed creator of The Ticking, The Soap Lady, and Micrographica. Small, square, slim.

quiet, fuzzy, vaguely uneasy pencil portraits of, yes, girls and rabbits, with some odd but deepening supplimental material. Apparently a kind of spin-off from a comic I really need to track down now. (Found by Maya at, I think, the second Brooklyn comic and graphics fest. She has a knack for pulling previously-unknown-to-us excellence out of these things).
