Ghost Hell

Rate this book
In the gritty underbelly of an urban landscape, where shadows hold secrets and magic is real, Grace Doyle, a skilled necromancer, leads an extraordinary team. Lewis, a half-demon with a troubled past, and Clair, a gifted and loyal ally, stand by her side as they navigate a world where the supernatural is both a gift and a curse.

When the Committee for the hidden Supernatural Community tears open a portal to a hellish dimension, they find themselves powerless to close it. Desperation leads them to Grace and her team, the only ones with the ability to confront the otherworldly threat. As the gateway to a nightmarish realm widens, the trio is thrust into a race against time, facing demons both literal and metaphorical.

As Grace harnesses her necromantic abilities to build a bridge between the living and the dead to save the trapped souls, Lewis grapples with the demons of his heritage.

In this gripping urban fantasy, the fate of the world rests on the shoulders of a necromancer, a half-demon, and an intuitive ally as they delve into the depths of Hell to close the portal and save both the demon and human realms. The lines between ally and enemy blur, and Grace and her team must confront not only the monstrous entities that lurk beyond the portal but also the shadows within themselves.

This has been a fun series. Grace has grown as a character through the series, she’s still reluctant to kill but not at the expense of her life or others. This book explores Lewis’ origins as a portal to the dark side is opened and the CSE need Grace’s team to go through and close it. What I loved about this story is that it explored the evolving relationships between the teammates. Grace made a faux pas and they had to wor through it, but the other team members also had to recognize her feelings as well. There’s also more ghost contracts for Grace to fill including that of a boy and his parrot (that one was sad), Archibald who seems to be having fun as a spy/investigator Ghost; and Nancy 🙄🙄. So far, this series has exceeded my expectations. I’m glad to have found it on audible and gave it a try. ,
