I liked this book even better than the first book Dragon's Eye. Everyone's back, Gary Morgan's off to college, Dan and Ben are up to their usual tricks and the ladies, Alice Haskell, Kate Rowley and Caroline Haskell have their hands full dealing with the brujo who they thought died the first time around. Up next: Dragon's Bones.

If L'Engle's Austin family were alive and well in the age of cell phones and women's lib, and were kind of more pan-theists and less only Christian, and if they were pals with modern day cyberspace pirates... nah, that doesn't even adequately sum it up. Really great urban fantasy with a cozy sense of the importance of connection to the family you make at the center of it all. Great sequel, characters I want to befriend, I just wish there were more in the series.

Witches and shapeshifters. Enjoyed the opening and there were some compelling characters but I was not drawn to them all. Probably would have enjoyed it more if I had read the first book in the series.

That's not a contradiction for James Hetley. And in Dragon's Teeth there are several variations. You start reading Dragon's Eye and Dragon's Teeth while I go on with Dragon's Bones

Dragon's Teeth was an enjoyable read. I loved revisiting the lives of the Morgan's and Haskells.

An odd combination of Native American, Welsh, and Mayan magic, but lots of action, fast-paced pretty believable characters. Enough murder, mayhem and magic to satisfy most readers.

Intriguing enough I've decided to give the first one a try. I want to see how the story developed.

This book was very well written, with action, character building and shared excitement and history galore. It added a touch of the mystic with a Selkie clan, a touch of the exotic with Native American mystery, voodoo, Incan/Mayan and Celtic witches.

It was a really good book, but didn't quite reach top ranking as it rushed the conclusion, and because it made me fall asleep - twice. But still I would recommend it.
