Misty’s second term proves to be most magical when Miss Nightshade announces the arrival of an esteemed guest. The witches discover that the Winter Wizard will be there all month long to teach some of their classes! And he has a wonderful surprise waiting for them!
But there’s something quite suspicious about a sword, a forest and a twister... even for witchcraft.
As someone who grew up loving 'The Worst Witch' and wishing I too could be a witch, this series has become such a comfort to me. I really loved the darker, mysterious elements to this part of the series, and I can't wait to read the rest! Esther Frogsbody really is a horror.
This third book was full of surprises, and I honestly enjoyed it so much. 🤩
At the beginning of the book we find out what happened over the Christmas holidays while the school was closed, and then the students return for Term 2. One of the highlights for me was Bridgett’s return using a magical wishing stick. 🪄
Bridgett also makes a new witchy friend, which felt like a big step for her. And it might make you wonder, but what about Misty? 🥹💕✨
Miss Nightshade announces the arrival of a special guest and it turns out to be the Winter Wizard. 🧙🏻♂️ We learn that wizards are much rarer, and while witches have magic inside them, wizards carry theirs in a magical object.
In class, they learn how to make a light potion and a cloak of protection… but will they actually need to use them? That question really kept me turning the pages.
This book had a great pace, lovely magical moments, and so many little twists that made it exciting to read. I loved being back in this world. 🤩⭐️
This book finally answered my questions about some of the characters so the five stars is well deserved. I've been reading these when I need something light hearted before going to bed and I'll be so sad when there's no more to read. The plot is wonderful and fast paced and perfect for young kids who love a magical story but it's also perfectly enjoyable for adults too
Another amazing book! This series is the best if looking for something like the worst witch! I enjoyed this book from start to finish and I was gripped in the story! It’s well written and well paced! I can’t wait for my daughter to read it too!
