ZakharI strike fear in the hearts of those who serve me, in the hearts of my enemies, and even in the hearts of world leaders. People quaking in their boots at my mere presence is something I live for, but this woman has no fear of me. She looks directly into my eyes when speaking to me and dares to break our date. I’ve never met anyone like her and that’s why I know she must be mine … she will be mine.TabithaTrust? My trust has been shattered too many times that I care to remember. And now my best friend and soul sister has joined those that have broken that trust. How can I ever trust her when she’s gone and done the one thing that I hate the most. Signing me up on a dating agency. However, given my predicament, what choice do I have?
Carolee is a passionate writer whose life revolves around creating a world she can revert to when life gets in the way.
She always knew she would be a writer. Her teachers and the school librarian noticed her knack for story telling from an early age. With their encouragement, she continued to allow her imagination to come to life.
She spent most of her adult life dreaming of writing her own novels while working a 9 to 5 job. With determination, she quit her job and now concentrates on writing full time.
Writing is her passion and without it she feels incomplete. Carolee writes from her heart, from her soul.
In addition to writing, there are absolutely four things she cannot live without; chocolate, good ice-cream, cheesecake, and coffee.
This was a really cute story! Zhakar seemed like a stick in the mud who needed to loosen up his tie and relax. Now my girl Tabitha was not feeling this book boyfriend business one bit. But due to extenuating circumstances (her friends auntie), she didn't have a choice. Unfortunately, Zhakar and Tabitha's meet-cute didn't go as planned due to a nasty assistant. No spoilers. 🤐
I loved the storyline. It was a beautiful read. I found it sexy, funny, steamy, and satisfying, with happened to Tabitha's ex Gary. Lmao!! He deserved every bit of what he got. I'm in love with how Zhakar and Tabitha got their HEA. That man was all about his wife. That saying, "All good things come to those who wait." It is so true. Especially if you stop stressing over stuff. You'll have to read the book to know what I mean. 😉 This book was most definitely a Book Boyfriend I would love to revisit in the future.
these two seemed like they would never get together. every time they got close, something happened. and he assistant was something else, i thought he had racial issues, i didn't know that he just didn't like her. and Zakhar... he was something else. a tyrant, to everyone but her. after he convinced her...encouraged... ok forced her to marry him, she started to see what he was capable of doing for her. and only asked for 3 months and then a year and after 2 years should would get money and keep the companies that she started. they started falling in love and enjoying the time that they were spending together. and then the 2 year mark rolled around and she thought he wouldn't want her any longer because she couldn't bear him an heir. and when he realized that she was going to leave him, it broke his heart and he revealed that he didn't want her any longer to be his baby momma. he wanted a wife, he wanted her. and she wanted him. and after they started to relax and focus on them, it all worked out. Loved Zakhar, he was a good man.
I struggled to get excited about either Zakhar or Tabitha, I definitely didn't dislike them, but equally didn't really like them either. This was only compounded by the numerous typos that are littered through the book, making it a frustrating read too. We flit between Aunty and Auntie - surely it should be English or American spelling, not a mix of both? We have "amble breasts" which I am guessing should be "ample", I instead of It, me instead of we, safire instead of sapphire, them instead of then...... I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
I like this story, Zakharl (interesting name choice) is intriguing and knows how to handle his business, career and personally. Tabitha didn't seem to be a push-over either, except for with her best friend. I've read a few others in this series and this one is ok but seemed rushed although I've read and enjoyed several books by this author. I like bother characters but they both were too clammed up about their feelings for one another 3 1/2*
A tyrant in business dealings and truly not believing in love was what our hero in this story was known for, yet when his mate was pitted with him from the Book Boyfriend A fancy-her friend put her profile in without her knowledge-it was a match made in Heaven! A beatify love story which ended in a loving HEA!!!💚🦋
I love reading books where the male hero is an alpha male. They are so sexy and vulnerable with the women they love. Such was Zakhar was when he met and married Tabitha, who loved her sexy protector and provider, even though she didn’t need him to provide.
I loved everything about this book. The characters and storyline are really good. I would definitely recommend this book to friends and family. I gave this book five stars because it kept my interest and was well written.
I loved the characters in this story. He was the tyrant with a secret heart and she was the hard working dream girl to match his fire. I enjoyed reading their story. Definitely loving this series so far.
Tabitha and Zakhar was truly exciting. She was everything he needed and neither recognized it. Their blossomed naturally not the most conventional beginning but love is love.
