48 pgs. This is the third book in the series and provides lots of important information on the technology used during the Civil War. There are many photographs, diagrams, and fact boxes to assist the reader. There is a "People to Know" section at the end of the book to introduce more people of that time period to the reader. In addition, there is an "Eyewitness to History," "True Statistics," "Resources," glossary, and index at the end of the book. This would make a great book for reports or readers who enjoy learning more about Civil War history. Highly recommended for Grades 4-6.
