It’s a lazy day so a boy gets permission to play his new video game. In it King Viking needs Super Rabbit Boy’s help. He’s made a Gigabot (a gigantic robot) that has gone haywire and is out of control. It is Super Rabbit Boy’s day off, but the giant robot is headed for his friends so he agrees to help. Can he survive all the traps and defenses King Viking built into this robot to shut it down in time?

This was a creative new adventure for Super Rabbit Boy. He has to be savvy and a good problem solver to save his friends. The graphic novel format makes this a pretty quick read for an adult, but for beginning readers it is probably just the right length. I know this series is insanely popular with our Elementary readers, so this won’t sit on the shelves much.

Super Rabbit Boy only agrees to join hands with the meanie King Viking because the deadly Gigabot is headed towards town where all his friends are. How will this joint mission turn out?

My kids dug up all their Super Rabbit boy books at the end of the school year and we've been putting off reading them while we finished up the Leo's Map of Monsters books and A Rover's Story (five stars read that one it's wonderful) because we wanted to have them all count towards summer reading! That was when I discovered that there was a NEW addition to the series, and immediately ordered it only to have them bring it home from the library.

These books are fun and reading them all in order again made this extra fun. I love the ever expanding world that Flintham has created for Super Rabbit Boy and King Viking and their many, many video game adventures. Just like finding an Easter egg in Hogwarts Legacy, we were so happy to find many of those in this book while having it be yet another fun adventure. I'm already excited for the 17th book in this series, and even though the reading level is now well below my oldest, the joy they continue to find reading these makes me truly happy.
