Ravage me. Tear me into a million unrecognizable pieces and put me back together again. Only you know how. That's why I'll kill for you. I submit to you. I belong to you. So whip me. Flog me. Break me. And I'll erupt, scream, and murder for you. I am yours, Evan. Full of love, lust, and lies. I'll do anything to keep you. Just tell me who. Tell me what. Your every wish is my command. Tell me. How may I please you, Sir?

WS (Will) Greer is the author of bestselling novels such as The Therapist Series, Kingdom, Interview with a Sadist, and The Darkest Kink. He's also a USAF veteran since enlisting in 2004, and retiring after 20 years of service in 2024.
WS prides himself on being a man who writes spicy romance with the absolute best of them, while also understanding and appreciating that he is a guest in the house of romance that women built.
WS grew up in Clovis, NM, and now resides in Delaware, where he lives with his wife--bestselling author Isabel Lucero--and 3 kids.
Wooooowww… I think romantic thrillers might be your thing, sir. I caught myself sitting up quite often or sitting down my iPad to yell “WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!” Loved reading from Journey’s POV & getting inside her psychotic mind. The dark romance girlies are gonna eat this UP! Well done!
When you think "Touch HER and Die" is top tier, W.S Greer unexpectedly flips it and turns the, "Touch HIM and Die" trope into a *chef's kiss* story!
I love the vivid and imaginative stories that come from this author's mind, but this one... this one was so damn good. I devoured book one, The Darkest Kink, so when I saw he was finishing the duet, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this story.
If you are unfamiliar with Greer's stories, trust me when I say this man can write a romance story from both the male and female perspectives and make you crave both. He's written a range of lighter stories to this dark thriller romance. With a primary focus on BDSM dynamics, he is able to give you a glimpse of what a healthy dynamic can look like, as well as tip-toe around the line of what a very unhealthy dynamic will look like. How May I Please You is a perfect example of when a dynamic is beyond a healthy boundary and driven by pure chaos.
The two main characters that you meet in this duet are unhinged and driven by a destructive, carnal desire for one another. Boundaries are not only crossed but are obliterated with the notion of doing this out of their altered description of love and protection.
Highly recommend this book for those who love dark romance.
W.S. Greer has been and will continue to be an auto-read author for me.
Book Review: "How May I Please You" by WS Greer 📖✨
"How May I Please You" by WS Greer is an electrifying sequel to "Darkest Kink" that plunges deeper into the intense and provocative relationship between Evan and Journey. This novel is not for the faint of heart, as it explores the boundaries of love, lust, and power in a way that is both thrilling and deeply emotional.
From the very first page, the raw passion and dark desires between the characters grip you tightly and refuse to let go. The narrative dives into the complex dynamics of a Dom/sub relationship, where every command and submission is a dance of trust and power. Evan, with his commanding presence, and Journey, with her fierce devotion, create a symphony of pain and pleasure that is as mesmerizing as it is unsettling.
🖤 Dom/sub: The power exchange between Evan and Journey is portrayed with intensity and authenticity, making their interactions both fascinating and deeply affecting.
🖤 Sadist/masochist: Their relationship delves into the realm of sadomasochism, where pain and pleasure blur, creating a unique and compelling connection.
🖤 Detective/suspect: The intrigue thickens as the lines between protector and pursuer blur, adding a layer of suspense to their already tumultuous bond.
🖤 Forbidden love: The love story is dark and forbidden, full of secrets and lies that only deepen their emotional connection.
🖤 Dark secret: Hidden truths come to light, challenging their relationship and pushing them to their limits.
The writing is powerful and evocative, capturing the essence of a love that is both consuming and liberating. Greer's portrayal of Evan and Journey's relationship is intense and unflinching, showing the beauty and brutality of their bond. This is a story of submission and control, of love and obsession, where every page turns with anticipation and every scene leaves a lasting impression.
Despite the story being rich with in depth spicy moments they never overshadow the main narrative. The relationship between Evan and Journey remains the focal point, allowing us to delve deeply into their dynamic. This balance ensures that the excitement enhances rather than detracts from their evolving bond, providing a nuanced exploration of their connection. In case you wonder it is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ hot !!!
If you're looking for a dark, passionate, and provocative read that will ravage your emotions and keep you on the edge of your seat, with a well deserved ending . "How May I Please You" is a must-read.
This was so great! Dare I say better than the darkest kink???? I was so happy for journey to finally fall in love with Ethan 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 all the spice!!! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Whatever else I say about this book, WS Greer took “touch her and die” and did a whole marathon with it. The best trope and this was done EXPERTLY. And when I tell you, it isn’t just “touch HER and die”…
This is dark, dark. Like. Dark. Do not go into this duet unless you’re okay with that.
There’s BDSM, breath and blood play and degradation a-plenty. There’s two very dark and tortured characters here who in theory make a terrible couple with their toxicity but in book world they’re a perfectly twisted couple. They’re a modern day Bonnie and Clyde.
After reading The Darkest Kink, I felt a bit strange and I couldn’t put my finger on it until I read How May I Please You. I didn’t feel like I could enjoy either of the main characters because of how dark their thoughts and actions were but realistically it wasn’t a standard thought process, they’re dark and their trauma has led them to this. I think it was the perspectives of Journey. The writing style changes and it’s confusing and she’s unlikable. They both are and I feel guilty about this…
It’s a well written book and interesting story I just didn’t fall for the characters! 😩
WOW. The raw passion between Journey & Evan is so strong, and I could literally feel it while reading the story. The battle between trust, power, & submission was so important with Evan having the power to command & Journey being so submissive to please him. Don’t get me wrong though, Journey may have been submissive but she knows how switch it up in other parts of her life okay?😌
The thriller aspect to this story really drew me in!! Not knowing when someone would be caught or if everything would end really made it a page turner. The connection between these 2 was so brutal and intense at some that I was so shocked IN THE BEST WAY!
The balance between the dark and spicy elements was done so well too, and it for sure enhanced the story🤭🫠
Thank you to WS Greer & The Author Agency for this arc🩶🩶
This is book two and it picks up right where book one ended. These two characters have so much passion, chemistry and dark desires it really pulls you in. There were so many more twists and turns that took you on a chilling journey. I loved getting to see Journey’s POV and seeing into her mind. Knowing her secrets and lies I was always waiting for the other shoe to drop and see how Evan would handle what was to come.
The author did an amazing job at showing Evan and Journey’s bond and just how far they are willing to go for each other. We see the positive and negative sides of their bond but it built up anticipation and had you questioning what was going to happen next. With the ending and epilogues I am still interested in how they will bring in aspects of their old life to their new one.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ This book is so hard to put down because the characters are literally insane! Especially Journey! That girls squirrel has lost all of her nuts! Evan and Journey are so meant for each other, finding out about their pasts does give insight into their personalities. This book has so many ups and downs and twists and turns I didn’t know which way my head was facing. In the end the spice was hot, hot, hot!!!
Holy hell, insanely obsessed with everything about this book. The tangled web of lies weaved within this book was so intriguing and amazingly written. It kept me guessing as to what was going to happen the entire time and I devoured it wanting to find out quicker.
I was a tad worried because I loved The Darkest Kink so so much, but How May I Please You was just as intense (if not more) and the dark, romantic thriller vibes this gave was EVERYTHING!
I loved seeing the continuation after the end of The Darkest Kink (which you definitely have to read before this one), and reading about the complexity of Evan & Journey & how their relationship is in and out of the bedroom, made this book so dynamic and easy to read (& he calls her little one and little devil 🫠) The spice was spicyyyy and I always love reading WS Greer’s BDSM scenes.
Honestly, SO SO SO GOOD! A must read if you love dark romance!
Let me start by saying that for those of you who don't read the entire review, I will make it easy... GO, GET THE BOOK!
How May I Please You is part 2 of Evan & Journey's story from the Darkest Kink, and it does not disappoint . This book picks up a few months after the end of The Darkest Kink, and you are swemlessly pulled back into Evan & Journey's beautifully twisted relationship. I love that this book wastes no time. From the very 1st line, you won't be able to put the book down. I read it in less than 24 hours because every time I tried to put it down, I'd pick it up 10 minutes later.
Experiencing this relationship from both POVs is a treat because perspective plays a big part in the couples dynamic. Seeing the way they love, protect, and serve each other is amazing.
All in all, this is a 5 star read and one of WS Greer 's best!
Rating 5 ⭐️ Spice 5 🌶️ We pick up on a new adventure for Evan and Journey. They are both still a little unhinged. But they love each other despite and because of the darkness they see in one another. I love that we get to make a trip to Black Collar and we get a peek of one of my favorite couples Nolan and Bree. Evan is more in control than his little devil and she reeks some havoc in this book. Secrets and lies begin to catch up and threaten to take them both under their currents. This book has some spicy scenes, it is always a pleasure to read BDSM scenes from WS Greer. The plot is not overshadowed by the spice, it was all well balanced. I like how we get to see Journey develop more in this book and we get dual POV. Spicy Chapters:1-6-12-13-24-32-36 hopefully I did not miss any, but sometimes I get caught up in the story and forget to log them lol. Evan’s care and his focus on Journey and her needs is one of my favorite things, I love their dynamic despite their brand of crazy. Their love works for them. Another one read and enjoyed by Mr. Greer, as always it was a pleasure.
Once again WS Greer knows how to attract the female gaze within his writing. It was truly spectacular. This book had me on the edge of my seat and even falling out of it at times. The thriller aspect of the book was perfect I love that it never takes away from the book yet only seems to add to it. The characters, the story, the true spice all incredible. His books show that if the spice is good there doesn’t need to be a ton of it. Five delicious and enthralling stars yet again.
WOW ….. this was an epic sequel to the first one! I was hooked from page one! Even and Journey are so dark and twisted that I never seen any of this coming! The dark side I expected from this author but the thriller part was outstanding!! I loved this book so much! I would recommend it to anyone who reads dark, spicy, thriller books!
Alright wow, this was such a roller coaster ride of hotness and fear for my two favorite deranged lovebirds that I was shrieking at the end hahaha! I absolutely love how most of Journey POV is essentially written like a diary entry to Evan, explaining why she does what she does. And he just loves her regardless because he’s close to her level of unhinged as well! He proves time and again he’s the perfect Dom for her and well no one can say she isn’t devoted😂 this was a great finale for these two and I loved every second of it!
WOW… this is an EPIC conclusion to Journey and Evan’s story. This book will have you in a chokehold. One minute you will be holding your breath waiting for what’s to come… and in the next you’ll be clutching your invisible pearls. This book is deliciously dark and perfectly unhinged in all the best ways!
This book was very predictable from the start. I don’t want to add any spoilers but I just wish I wasn’t able to foreshadow every twist and turn that was going to happen in the book. It was still a good story but seemed like it was not original to the first story plot it followed the same cadence.
⚠️Spoiler Free⚠️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Star Rating 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 5 Spicy Rating
The first word that came to mind when I finished this... WOW! I loved The Darkest Kink; The story was gripping and enticing, and the characters Evan and Journey were so interesting and intriguing. Their story continues in How May I Please You... if you thought you knew or understood their relationship, think again! You're captivated from the very beginning, and the ups and downs that occur throughout the story just make you want more!
If you haven't read The Darkest Kink, it's 100% recommended in order to know the characters and what previous events have led them to where they are now.
W.S. Greer, you have out done yourself, Sir. Bravo!
I am in shock. Journey is freaking twisted and Evan is equally so. Watching everything unfold including them getting caught for Sierria's murder in book 1 and the path of destruction that followed was brilliant. The spice was amazing.

From the first chapter I had a feeling of anxiety, almost dread, waiting for the other shoe to drop. That feeling would ebb and flow, and I never knew who I was worried more for, Evan or Journey. The element of being caught, of their life being ripped apart, was currently nagging at me. I couldn't relax, even when they were in their scenes, it was always there. I still don't know if it was anxiety and fear of them being caught, or anticipation of their scenes. Either way, I was a ball of nerves the entire time!
For the first half of the book, I was starting to think that Journey had become unhinged. She seemed to be acting without Evan. And usually they work best together, so I know she had gone off the rails when she was keeping secrets. Secrets. That made my level of anxiety when she was alone shoot through the roof. Every sentence I read. I was wondering if she was going to jump off the deep end, do something so drastic that she could not recover from it. She seemed to be a loose cannon.
I was so worried and anxious during the driveway confrontation with Trey that I couldn't tell if it was that, the pending confrontation between Journey and Evan, or if it's everything coming to a head. But that scene had me on the edge of my seat.
The anxiety and tension did not stop there. The remainder of the book had me on the edge of my seat. There were times I had to take deep breaths and center myself before I continued. I wasn't quite sure which way this book was going to go. But I knew that. However it ended. I was going to love it. I was hoping I would not end up a sobbing mess at the end. There are aspects of their old lives that I'm sad they had to leave behind, like the Black Collar. They found a family there, pure acceptance, and now they must start over on their own. Friends that they can no longer see or talk to, that would be hard.
W.S. Greer develops characters that you connect with. Whether those characters are on the right or wrong side of the law makes no difference. You find yourself rooting for the bad guy right along with the good guy.
I am very happy with the conclusion of this story, and it makes me want to turn around and read them both again right away. I've said this about other authors, but I know this to be true about Greer... The man could write a cookbook and I would read it. I also know it would be filled with amazing spice, accurate details, and a story that sucks you in from page 1.

Mr. Greer - thank you for this! When you first introduced these two i knew they had more to them and getting to see Journey truly in action just gave me exactly what I wanted!
How May I Please You is the sequel to The Darkest Kink, and I’ve been excited to read it for some time.
It picks up where The Darkest Kink left off after some time has elapsed. Our main characters, Journey and Evan, are in a Dom/sub romantic relationship. And the story is the two of them navigating some of their darker tendencies as they continue to deal with the fallout of the first book while balancing their relationship.
One of things that I noticed pretty quickly was that while I thought the book was reasonably well written, it just wasn’t my preferred style. The story was split between Evan and Journey’s POVs, and while I loved having Journey’s POV, the stylistic choice of having her address Evan directly wasn’t for me. It worked well enough for the story, but the second-person address style doesn’t do it for me. There’s also what I would describe as somewhat of a stilted, almost more formal quality to the writing in Evan’s POV chapters. Once again, it’s just not preference.
As for the actual story, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved getting to see the characters in an actual relationship beyond the initial falling in love. This is the kind of sequel that I always want after a romance book so I can just live with those characters a little longer. I think it added to some of the development of the first book and really rounded events and story threads out. The first book didn’t feel incomplete to me, but this sequel definitely added closure I didn’t know I needed.
This is an explicit romance novel that explores BDSM, though absolutely to an extreme. The explicit scenes seemed well written, even if not to my preference. I really appreciated how Greer included elements like aftercare, which is often overlooked or not explicitly mentioned in books.. I gave this 3.5 🌶️’s.
Overall, I would say this book was 3.5 stars for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, but it doesn’t fully align with my stylistic preferences. I would absolutely recommend the book to others who enjoy thriller-esque romances with forbidden love or cop/suspect relationships and BDSM elements.
I really enjoyed the first book in this series following Journey and Evan, so this second instalment had big expectations to fill. Luckily, it lived up to the hype! WS has a great way of writing and I can feel his passion pouring through him in this one; you really feel the difference in his writing. His love for the characters bleeds through into you. This book is dark and while I absolutely adore that, it won’t be for everyone so make sure you check triggers before you start this. The characters are beyond morally grey, sitting firmly in the realms of pitch black! I love the way that Evan and Journey interact with each other and how they’ve made their own moral code that they live by; justifying some of the awful things they’ve done but lying is an absolute hard limit. It lends authenticity to them because you can imagine real people who commit these crimes thinking in a similar way. The way that the end of the book plays out, maybe the last 20% or so, takes you on a wild ride where you aren’t sure if they’ll get their HEA or not. All of the highs and lows here kept me right on the edge of my seat and the anticipation had me hooked. I won’t spoil it though, if you want to know if they got their HEA, you’ll have to give it a read. Great work WS and an amazing first release since you retired from the Air Force!
I loved the first book. Ate it up so quick and was so sad when the book ended the way it ended. I NEEDED answers. So when I saw he was working on a part 2 you knowwwww ya girl was all over it! It is 100% a top tier read for me. I love Journeys crazy and the way we get more of her POV in this book. When he said "the future is dark" I truly did not know what to expect, but I know this was so much better than anything I could have imagined coming from him.
Now to the guud guud..
It's definitely a different vibe on a different level I think the transition from Journey dropping a bomb on us at the end of TDK to seeing that she really is low key crazy and loves her secrets is awesome! And I love his ride or die type of love he has for her and that we get to experience the heated excitement of it.
We got a teeny bit of his insecurity and see him acknowledging it and being willing to work at it & him really paying attention to her and watching her to see what she's interested in and then trying to recreate it for his girl even tho he doesn't really know what he's doing made the story feel that much more real and relatable. The big bad dom didn't automatically know what to do and was amazing at it on the spot which is a nice change from a lot of bdsm romances.
WS Greer is a phenomenal writer and it shows in his work that he lives the lifestyle and can fittingly let us into the minds of his characters.
It’s been six months since Journey and Evan’s relationship began and they are coming into their new normal living together and Journey having a new partner after her previous partner’s timely demise.
Everything is going well until a woman begins working with Evan and Journey gets insecure about their relationship. After an incident at a local diner happens, in which she feels like they were treated badly. Then at dinner with Evan’s boss and friend, Trey, she feels like he was disrespectful to Evan. These events happen and set Journey off and she takes matters into her own hands. On top of that, her new partner is asking a lot of questions about Sierra Cross, Journey’s relationship with Evan and even her deceased partner. Until everything comes crashing down around them.
What a ride this was!!! It was just as dark and hot as the first book! There’s so much wonderful suspense throughout the book that I couldn’t put it down! It also set me on edge because I knew something detrimental was going to happen to the characters, I just didn’t know what and if the couple was actually going to get their HEA. Secrets from Journey’s past comes to light, especially on what led up to her and Evan’s first official introduction in the first book. There’s character growth for both characters, more so Evan throughout the book than Journey that you don’t see hers until the Epilogue. I feel like this book was more about Journey and her instinct to harm another person after being disrespected and her need to make things right or help like she did in the first book with shutting down Sierra Cross’s case and the lengths they are willing to go through to protect and stay with each other. Overall, I enjoyed this book so much and definitely recommend it!
Ya’ll the first book in this series was amazing. I didn't think it could get any better but here we are. When this book was announced I'm not gonna lie I was super worried, but this book will not disappoint you in the slightest. This is the 2nd book for Journey and Evan. It's anything but ordinary. This book is full of spice, thrilling moments, and a good plot. I found myself sitting with my jaw open thinking “did that just really happen?” It was the best kind of read that will take you out of your comfort zone. At least for me it did. I really enjoyed Evan and Journey in the first book but in this book it seems they got even better. The plot was good, the spicy scenes were amazing and holy crap were they hot. This is a book that will keep you on your toes from the first chapter. I totally loved that about this book. I couldnt and wouldnt put it down once I started. It will hold you captive until the end and leave you wanting more from these two amazing characters. I loved that they both remained unhinged in this book and that they truly love each other even with all the darkness in them both. I loved that Journey reeks some more havoc in this book than Evan. That made me oddly happy LOL. The ending was perfect and I wish we could see form from these two.
I want to start by saying that this couple is the most toxic couple I have ever met and I am here for it! I mean it's a dark romance book and most of these couples are toxic to each other anyways.
This book really had my anxiety heightened and not necessarily in the bad way but more in the way I was on the edge of my seat and biting my nails (W.S greer you owe me a manicure! (j.k of course lol). But I mean this book was constantly moving and flowing and you really just wanted to know what was going to happen next between Evan and Journey!
You can NOT read this as a standalone. You really have to read the Darkest Kink first and then this book.
My girl Journey took me on a anxiety rollercoaster through this book and I was here for all of it! I was so shocked with her actions that I was stressed about what would happen between her and Evan when all the secrets came out. But of course these two are just twistedly meant for each other of course and nothing and nobody will get between them!
If you love these tropes then check this series out! 🖤 Dom/Sub 🖤 Sadist/Masochist 🖤 Detective/Suspect 🖤 Forbidden Love 🖤 Dark Secret
How May I Please You is part two of Evan and Journey’s dark and depraved love affair, picking up a few months on from where book one finishes. Now living together the pair seem to be the perfect couple happily living their best lives until suddenly they’re not. The pair’s possessiveness and obsession with each other knows no bounds, but how far will they go for love? You’ll need to read the book to find out.
This book is dual POV which I absolutely loved as it gives you more of an insight into Journey’s character and how psychotic and unhinged the police detective really is. Journey’s chapters are written as if she is writing a letter or diary entry to Evan, I haven’t really come across POVs like this before and thought it really worked well in the book. WS Greer never ceases to amaze me with this writing and once again he has proved that males can write a great steamy romance.
How May I Please You is a thrilling dark romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat begging to know what will happen next. Please keep in mind this book will not be everyone’s cup of tea so please read the content and trigger warnings to make sure this is the right book for you.
