It was a mess.
Fmc is the ow from book 2, so she slept with that mmc. But wait, it gets BETTER!!
The MMC in this story WAS married to fmc older sister.. and is best friends with the mmc in book 2 and knew they were fucking.
He's been divorced from the fmc sister for 7ish years. He even said he picked the wrong sister. So this one had double dipping. In siblings and best friends. 😒😒😒 also, they kept using brother in law and sister in law. It's been 7 years to stop with that.
So, I believe I'm done with this series. The only one that was okay was book 1.

Okay I agree there’s a double dipping since the MMC was initially married to the FMC’s sister but it didn’t bother me like I thought it would 😙 maybe because from the get go he completely moved on and was ALL IN with Lilly and his thoughts were all about her and you can just feel how different and intense are his feelings for Lilly compared to the sister.
It also helps the author didn’t villainize the sister, on why they broke up, and her eventual reaction to them dating. She was slightly relatable and a really good sister so I appreciate the author for not ruining that.

Pursuing Lilly is Book 3 in the Sinful Secrets series, and it is the hottest and kinkiest one yet!! This one has some darker themes, so be sure to read the trigger warnings. That being said, this is a deliciously steamy, kinky, forbidden, secret identity, friends to lovers, age-gap, curvy girl gets her ex brother in law romance.
Lilly is a 27 year old curvy girl who also works as a Webcam girl on the side. Shane is her 38 year old, hunky ex-brother in law. He was married to her older sister, Fern, but has been divorced for 8 years. He is an ex-military man turned cop. He and Lilly have remained friends and have been attracted to each other for some time but feel it's off limits. When he finds out she is a cam girl, he manages to get rid of her other subscribers, so she only performs for him. He wears a mask. OMG, talk about panty-melting chemistry!!!! They were so hot together, and when he gave into her fantasies... I was a puddle!! 🔥🔥🔥 As mentioned, there are darker themes, and although this was an emotional read, it did end in a great HEA. Talk about a bumpy roller coaster. I totally fell in love with Shane, and he and Lilly were so good together. I loved it and hope Fern gets her own hot story, lol.

Meh, it was alright.
If you sit and think on the relationship between the two characters I think it’s a bit creepy. He was married to her older sister and still has a picture of her as a child on his shoulders up in his house.
This rides a bit of a squick for me. I’m all for age gap daddy kink but they really beat on him being her ‘brother’ for the first part of the book.
I think I didn’t like the heroine very much so maybe that was my main issue.

I received a copy of this for my honest review
Our FMC and MMC have known each other for years. She is a nurse and he is a cop. They know each other because he used to be married to her older sister. But there has always been something and now that they are both single - it's something more. When he comes over to help her with something he notices a few things that start to cause questions for him, but she has an answer for him. Too bad it's a lie. He then finds that she isn't filming make up tutorials - she is in fact a cam girl. He finds her page and subscribes, but when he watches her live her won't let her take off her clothes - instead he blocks all her other subscribers so that they can't see her. Of course she doesn't know it's him. He offers a deal that he will pay what she lost in subs if she only talks to him. He makes sure to cover any identifying marks because although he wants this, he knows they shouldn't. But he takes it a step further when he learns about her fantasies and acts them out for her. All she wants is for it to be him, but she wants it to be real. Will she accept her stranger as it is, or will she ask for more? Will he be able to stop himself?

Ahhhh Annie Charme is just so good with angst and secret/unrequited love!
I loved everything about this- Shane fighting his feelings for his ex-sister-in-law, Lilly fighting her feelings for her sister’s ex, how the seeds of their relationship are planted when he’s doing some simple repair work for her, and how things escalate from there thanks to the inter webs.
I enjoyed every moment of Shane’s adventures as a masked man and every moment of Lilly’s awakening and confidence building. When Lilly starts putting 2 and 2 together, well, those moments are just delicious.
I enjoyed the additional plot points involving Lilly’s brother, Asher, and his not so savory friend, Levi, as well as Lilly’s skeevy, handsy boss.
Annie Charme knows what she’s doing. Pure longing, spice and tension, euphoria, angst, anxiety, and adversity, followed by love and comfort with a final dab of spice. So good!

Amazing Kinky Read!
I love these darker, high heat, deep plot stories of Annie Charme’s and this book was no exception. We have met Shane in Kane’s book and he presented as a bit of a straight and narrow kinda guy. I’m so glad we got this story because Shane . . . well Shane is anything but! He’s kinky! He also has a lot of depth to him. I read this book in one siting and loved every moment of it! I need a Shane in my life!

Shane is 12 years older than Lilly, so she's always been hands off due to the age gap and husband of her sister, Fern. Lilly is trying to keep her head above water with her bills supporting her family home, her mother's Dementia care, and her addict brother. She's still studying to become a full-time nurse, so taking on being a cam girl for secondary income fit her schedule for evening work. Shane stumbles upon her feed when making an arrest as he's a local Sergent in the police force. When Shane signs on for the first time, he decides to use his computer skills and access to her network to shut down all subscribers to her feed. He makes a deal as a masked man to pay her directly what she could have earned with her subscribers. This starts the lie to protect her and have his own personal feed. Shane's been trying to deny his attraction and feelings for Lilly. Lilly has been crushing on Shane's since she was a child.
Thus begins a masked man persona, which Lilly mentioned in her first couple of live chats with him. She wanted a masked man to tie her down, give her the 🍆, and all the Os. Shane's steps up to this fantasy like a good little sta1ker. I really enjoyed this book and the steamy scenes, but you'll have to read this and the bonus epilogue to get all 3 peppers worth of spice.

I absolutely devoured Pursuing Lilly by Annie Charm. Shane and Lilly were absolute FIRE!
I mean.....
Holy Hotness..... Don't worry about Lilly, Shane you and your mask can Pursue me any time! I will even throw on a sexy nurse costume for you... hehe..
This possessive and protective man was everything! The way he tried so hard to fight his feelings for the curvy Lilly, his ex-sister-in-law. Oh Shane! We all know he didn't stand a chance. Specially when he saw what she had started doing for extra money.
The chemistry between these two is undeniable and kindle melting.
Not only did we have some push and pull, tension, angst, spice and some unrequited love between Shane and Lilly we had some drama, a little suspense and a side of action.
Annie Charme... You absolutely stole my breath in one scene!!! You know the one...aahhhh....
I loved the inclusion of some of my favs from previous books.
And...
The ending between these two was pure perfection. I love their love.

This was a fun, sweet read! It’s definitely not my go-to romance subcategory, but I’m trying to read more outside my usual picks. The whole “ex-husband of my sister who watched me grow up” trope was definitely different. I didn’t love that aspect, but I still enjoyed the kinks.
Surprisingly, Asher was my favorite—I’d love to read his story! And I absolutely can’t wait for Fern to find the right one; I have a feeling her love story will be epic. Oddly enough, I found myself more interested in everyone except the FMC. It’s not that I didn’t like her—she was just a bit too sweet for my taste. The camcording sessions felt out of character for her, but I also kind of understood her motivations, even if it’s hard to explain?
Side note: I wasn’t a fan of the names they chose for their children. Overall, it was an enjoyable read, even if I was more invested in the side characters than the main couple.

Lilly has always had a crush on Shane but knew it wouldn’t amount to anything.
Everything changes when Shane finds out Lilly does adult content online, he makes sure that no one else can see what he wants. The deception then begins, you have fantasies being played out, masked man and great sex.
This book has been my favourite and I love the confidence Lilly has, and how it grows throughout the story. I can’t wait to see who is next in this series. Would highly recommend this and the others in the sinful secrets series.

Pursuing Lilly by - Annie Charme.
I am always down for a military book so when I read this blurb I was why not let’s give it a go. I was a little weary at first with the whole it was his ex- wife’s sister because gross I would never even think of looking at any of my brothers- in laws like that I mean eww they are my brothers gross. But i kept going. I guess taking that out of the equation it’s just another romance with a great guy who falls for this daring amazing woman Lilly. I loved how protective Shane was and how he put her first above everything. So would I read it again probably no but would I recommend yes because I’m definitely convinced this is definitely someone else’s type of story and they will definitely love it.

Now, this one was absolutely fabulous and has me craving the rest of the series. We have the delicious Shane ex-army turned copy, and boy, is he tasty. Then we have his younger (yes, it's a yummy age gap) ex-sister-in-law (a little naughty naughty but so very nicey nicey) Lilly, who decides to turn to content creating (wink, wink) when she needs a little extra cash. What happens when our man finds out? Cue explosive fireworks involving a mask that I really need you to indulge in so you can drool as much as I did over this MC.
I'm definitely reading the others because the male side characters are delicious, too.

I absolutely love Annie Charm’s books. I love that Lilly is a curvy girl and I have a real thing for masked men at the moment. Add to the fact that Shane is good guy and perfect for Lilly.
Annie manages to touch on some real sensitive subjects as well as plenty of spice that keeps you wanting more.
This book had me going through so many different emotions because of the realisticness of its subjects.
I didn’t want to put this book down.
I can’t wait to see who comes next. Hopefully Fern can get her HEA.

This is a top notch 2024 read for me. I feel in love with the two main characters from this story from the very beginning. The story was extremely easy to follow you, you felt like you were right there with them the entire story and you were feeling their feelings in the moment. Lilly is a queen for all that she does for everyone and Shane just loves the girl with his whole heart but too scared to go over what he’s wanted for a long time. Their masked moments were extremely hot. The turning points in the book have you on the edge of your seat. Definitely check this book out.

I loved Pursuing Lilly: A Curvy Girl Age Gap Romance. Lilly is his ex sister-in-law and he shouldn’t want her but Shane does. He wants to make all of her fantasies come true. She has a lot of responsibilities and takes scare of everyone but who takes care of her? Shane would like to be the man that she needs but their situation is difficult. I loved the storyline and the characters. He wants to be her protector and take the burden from her shoulders. I would definitely recommend this book.

A hot and steamy addition to this series.

Shane and Lilly's journey of love is forbidden, filled with secrets, masks, steam, great banter, and so much more. I enjoyed this slow burn, steamy read and I loved the forbidden twist. This is a well written story that held my attention from the first page until the last. Pursuing Lilly is book three and my first book in The Sinful Secrets series. I look forward to reading the first two books. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This is an amazing story. I couldn't put it down. I loved every second of it. Lilly and Shane are amazing characters. I couldn't wait to see what happened next with them. Shane shouldn't want Lilly but he does. Lilly becomes a camgirl to help pay all her financial responsibilities. Shane makes sure that he is her only client. Will they be able to have a chance find happiness together?

January 20, 2025i didn’t think i could love shane and lilly more than kane and violet but charme once again proved me wrong! i wish i could talk about these two until the day i die. the whole relationship before the relationship had me swooning like this mf made sure nobody else could see her and locked all the other accounts!!! he is perfect in my eyes and im so sad to let them go. after this book it’s clear ive added another author to my favorites list

I really enjoyed the plot and the romance story between Shane and Lilly, but the fact that he kept bringing up how he’s known her since she was little girl… yeah, that gave me the ick. Every time. I had to pretend he just met her as an adult. Age gaps with adults don’t bother me, but age gaps where you knew them as a child… eww. Other than that, I enjoyed the story.

This exciting story had me connecting with Shane and Lily. He is drawn to his little ex-sister-in-law and will do anything to keep the subs away even erasing their files. This story had me all caught up in it and glued to the pages.

This book is hands down my favourite book by Annie that I have read!! I love the slightly darker and spicier characters in this. Lilly is just the sweetest and Shane is the ultimate protector! Absolutely loved reading this ❤️
