The two main characters were so well written, it didn’t take long to become invested in their stories. They both loved their jobs, but we’re on the opposite side of things. I enjoyed watching the relationship evolve, and the drama, and the plot twist kept me flipping pages. Although I predicted the ending, it was sweet to watch it unfold.
Alissa is an entertainment reporter in sports. Her boss wanted the scoop about a baseball player the night before he caught in a scandal. Alissa didn’t like Mick because she thought that he’s a spoiled billionaire son,not like her from young years she had to fend for herself because her father left them and her mother wanted to work alot of jobs to raise them. When she went near his house he was talking with his lawyer and they didn’t give her nothing. When she went back on her office they called her to go so they can talk. When she went in his house, they make an agreement that the story goes out according how they planned. But when he was telling her about his life she changed her mind about him. You can’t judge a person before you know the insides.
This is my second book reading in the sports/baseball trope. We follow the story of Mick and Alissa. He tries to keep his brother safe and protect him. Alissa is a reporter and at first glance she thinks Mick is a jerk who doesn't do anything useful with his wealth. But her opinion of him gradually changes when they have to rely on each other for some time. This is a romantic story one that will keep your attention on your book.

A great story of a baseball pitcher who has to fight for his reputation. Mick is trying to protect his brother Cody from a gang and Alissa is a reporter who thinks Mick is just a rich jerk. After she is forced to stay with him they find their love. This is a well-written and engaging story. You need to read this one as it shows not everything is as it seems.

I enjoyed Mick and Alyssa’s story. She’s the go-to guru for all things sports celebrity gossip. And she’s landed the exclusive on the next big scandal. But arrogant jerk and notorious bad boy of baseball, Mick Tuttle. Is at the heart of it all. W she’s forced to stay at his house for protection. Amidst the chaos, she starts to see glimpses of the real Mick. Beyond the headlines and scandals. What will happen next? And a voluntarily leaving my review.
Mick the bad boy baseball pitcher aggravates Alissa the entertainment journalist. On behalf of every kid with major league dreams, watching someone squander their opportunity is not what she finds entertaining. But then she finds out what he’s been hiding: a heart, maybe even a soul. Definitely a hard life in his past.
It was cute, not very steamy, just a little. Follows all the usual romance plot mechanics and a HEA to keep readers cheering.
It was a very action packed story filled with a lot of mystery. This definitely embraced the enemies to lovers storyline. The ML is a MLB player and every time he does something newsworthy in sweeps the FL to report about it. But this newest development causes both characters to get closer than they thought possible. They have to rely on each other to get through this. It was a good, short read.
What an exhilarating romance read that has set your soul a blazing with tender moments as well as some heated moments. This book really captures your attention and Mick and Alissa are like a dark summer night with the brightest stars shining. This book is a really wonderful sports themed romance.

“Scoring with the Enemy” was a fun quick read. Who doesn’t love a top-of-his-game bad boy enemy’s to lovers romance? Add in a bit of mafia danger that forces the female reporter (who hates said hot baseball star) to stay in a protective custody at his home and now we have a romantic evolution. Entertaining read! Recommended for all fans of the genre.

He’s the bad boy pitcher with attitude that she’s been writing unflattering stories about. Now fate steps in and throws them a curve ball where they are forced together by outside elements. Will they find common ground and attraction or will others push them apart?
A sweet novel with an interesting premise well written narrative, nice development and good romantic line. Two main protagonists, Mick and Alissa are fun to watch.
