This is a unicorn.
One of the very very few realistic BDSM stories out there, clearly written by someone in the lifestyle, and a femdom one to boot, and... AND the author also can write and writes well. What a wonderful little story!
The author perfectly catches the very basic mindsets of a dominant and a submissive, exactly as they play out in reality, right down to how people so often are positioned else in their normal life. Pam and Michael are both genuine, fully rounded characters - which is not easy to do in so few pages - who interact in a believable and adorable manner. I couldn't stop laughing, often because I remember exactly such scenes, such responses and such reasonings from my own kinky life.
Greatly recommended for everyone who still thinks kinksters are in any way similar to Ana and Christian. This here is the reality instead.

What a satisfactory little book. I've had this on my shelf since it was recommended by G for "something different".
It was an oddly perfect pandemic erotica. While I may not reread, the low# of ratings means I'll give it a4. Especially considering unlimited's vats of rubbish

I like to think I don't judge a book by its cover, as beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. However, in the word of e-books a cover is the first thing that catches a readers eye (mine anyway) this one failed to do that, and I honestly thought the image was someone pulling a rubber glove on. Having read the story, I now know that is far from the case, and the use of a rubber band was ingenious!
As for appearances, I very much enjoyed the relationship and power exchange between Pamela and her sub/s, despite not knowing what they looked like, or because of it? Due to the relationships being on-line the D/s aspect is relatively mild, however the power exchange is no less potent. I liked it.
Lastly, I owe a big thank you to Robert for recommending this story to me, had he not done so I wouldn't have taken a closer look.
Recommended to readers who enjoy the gentler side of femdom romance. You won't find any ball-busting or belittling in these pages.

Time to add another book to my favorites shelf. This was a great read, well written and very well edited, had a good plot with a fresh idea. That can be hard to do with a short book, but this one does a great job. I picked it up when it was a freebie, but it's worth the price. My only minor complaint is that the sequel "Pleasing Pammie" is not directly linked at the end of this book. I'll be reading that one next.
The blurb does a good job of explaining the plot. What I liked was that the way it's written, it's believable especially the characters. They are just normal people doing everyday jobs. The Domme, Pam - known as Pammie in the diner where she works, is fresh out of college. While she is looking for a career, she waitresses and shows that she really cares about the customers and the diner. She shows more maturity than her coworkers and you'd think of someone her age. When a situation arises at the diner, she steps up to the plate when no one else does.
Micheal, Mick (online name), is the other main character and he is also ordinary. It's refreshing to read he's not a billionaire, some 20-30 something perfect male specimen. He's an ordinary 40 something year old doing his mundane everyday job. He could be you, me, or anyone. If you saw him occasionally, you may not even remember what he looks like 5 minutes later.
I won't go into more details , but I will say it was a very enjoyable read and good enough to purchase the sequel.

Loved this short book - but there is a slight cliffhanger ending so you might want to have the next one ready.
It is my first F/m domination book and I loved it. It gave me a glimpse of why people like to be dominant, why other people like to be submissive and how a good match can make both parties happy. The relationship is respectful; it is playful. Also, it is refreshing to read a book that picks a moment in time and moves the action forward (without a ton of inner-musing or recalling of the past).
Highly recommended.

Brilliant. I loved the humour and the fact that both characters were just so darned 'normal'!! A really refreshing change and beautifully written.
Plus points: the scene with odd socks, the age difference, the fact that no one was a billionaire or a CEO or stunningly handsome, the sheer ordinariness of the characters. etc etc.
Minus points: the cover. It really doesn't do the story (and the writing) justice.

A how-to manual
I am absolutely sure this was supposed to be erotic, interesting, and even exciting. Instead, it came off as an instruction manual, an experiment in how to drag an idea out longer than necessary.
Michael and Pamela are neither one very interesting as people and the "struggles" for her are so contrived as to be cliche.
I cannot recommend this one. It is tedious to the point where I started looking at time remaining at my reading pace and wondering if I needed to start skimming to reach the end.

Phone D/s for hopeful souls.
A very realistic story perfect to introduce someone to the idea of power exchange within a D/s relationship. It shows how a submissive who wishes to live his calling won't need chains since it is his desire to be true to his Dominant but also to himself.
