The Ship Tech - A Robot Romance Short Story

Rate this book
Robot BAN-S09 was built for maintenance work. The human Angela is his new mentee for the Ship Tech Training Program. He feels an instant connection with her, his Love Language attempting to activate at every turn. Can this gentle robot—who is wholly incompatible with a human—win her over?

This is a MF, steamy (not overly spicy), instalove, 10k word sci-fi robot romance short story. There's mention of a medically necessary hysterectomy, an open door scene, and adult language.

First and foremost, I'm a lover of all things romance, especially if there's a monster sprinkled in there somewhere 😉

I write steamy (and sometimes quirky) bite sized insta-love tales of monsters and magical creatures that are on a journey to find their one true match.

I work full time and am also a wife and mom - always outnumbered by two boys!

Cute and pretty unique android/robot short story. If the main conflict of them being together had been resolved differently I would have given this 4 stars. But they just avoided talking, too juvenile and boring to be the onlyyyyy conflict/tension in the book. Nothing was stopping them from being together except themselves. Lame

I hope the mom and Luther end up together

Another super quick wonderful read from Elliot. This one was totally different from what I read and I haven't read a romance like this one before but I loved it.

The characters, storyline and plot where wonderfully written and though out. It's such a sweet read. Can't wait to see what Elliot brings out next. I love all her books. If your looking for a quick read, a pallet cleanser from they dark read or just looking for something different then grab one off Elliots books. Highly recommend.

Ang just wanted a better life for her and her mother, she's applied to be somewhere important, somewhere that will forever change both their lifes.

But first she needs to be approved and then work her little butt off to get a permanent place for them both.

The two off them are happy chappy's when she gets that message saying she has been accepted and they both get her ready to set off, where she will meet her supervisor ban.

One thing is for sure, she never thought she would find love there. But she does and that's where her journey begins.

This cute science fiction romance is a very quick read. It only has 44 pages. It puts an interesting spin on the human/robot romance genre.

This is the love story of Ban-S09, a robot, and Angela, a human who gets selected for the Ship Tech Training Program and is trainee. Ban is not a Cyborg. He does not look human. He looks like a robot but is sentient. He also does not believe a human could ever love him.

This quick read is an insta-love romance. It’s easy to read, cute, and has only one spicy scene.

If you do not have lots of time to set and read, but want a cute romance, this is the novella for you.

Angela/Ang (h) gains acceptance into a prestigious Ship Tech training program, offering her and her struggling mother hope for a better future. She joins the Star Gazer, a ship where she meets BAN-S09/ Ban (H), her android trainer for the next six months. As Ban and Ang get to know one another, Ban's "Love Language" program and he worries about crossing boundaries in their growing relationship. Sweet and spicy romantic quickie with a bit of angst around the complexities of human-android relationships.

2.5 stars. So forgettable I almost forgot what it was about.

FMC gets a job aboard a space station. She rooms with a robot with advanced AI. They be crushing on each other but don’t do anything. Robot thinks it’s a malfunction but it isn’t. At the end of her internship term, they admit their feelings for one another and he gets an upgrade that turns his hand into a vibrator so they can be intimate? Aiight lol

A very sweet and quick romance with a sprinkle of spice. I was intrigued since I read another book recently between an Android and human, but this was delightfully different! For a short story this has a good amount of world building and I was really interested in the side characters. The building romance between the MCs was sweet and a little angst with a perfect HEA.

This was a super cute Robot and Human Insta-Love story.
My feelings were all over the place with this one, mostly, it was happy, but there was a moment where I had the "Oh nooo" feeling, which thankfully turned around for a happily ever after.

It was a very quick read, about 45 minutes.

Short read but I was entertained. A different spin on the human/ Android dynamic. I kind of wish we would get a story with Ang’s mom and Luther next. They deserve love too.

Wish it would have a longer spice scene. I don’t mind having just the one when it’s a short story but I think it should be savored when it happens. Only reason why I don’t give it 5 stars.

This story has the three S's.
Short. Sweet. Steamy.

I loved this story; it was a quick and easy read with dual POV's.
Perfect for anyone looking to read over a lunch break.
Low angst with insta love and a happily ever after.

Ang and Ban were relatable characters with relatable problems.
Their coming together at the end was super sweet.

I would love to read stories about the other characters on the star gazer in the future.

Love is...

Love is love, and whether you are created or organic has nothing to with who connect to, relate to ro fall in love with.

The only thing that matters I that both parties are happy and are treated well.

Ban and Ang are perfect for each other!!!!

Ok read, a bit of an odd romance. This one took a while to get into, a love story between a robot and human, as I struggled picturing how BAN looked, but a short story I was able to get into.

I Love It

When I first read Silver Metal Lover, I looked for more of this. I didn’t care for the sequels. Then along comes Elliot Aston and wham, here I am, hooked again. Great story, great HEA, I think I will find more of her books.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one but I was pleasantly surprised. It actually wasn’t as weird as I thought it would be. It was very cute.

An Inter-Species Love Story

Prior to the short story, I had never read a love story or sex scene between a robot and a human. While I found the robot to be a little too unpleasantly human in his jealousy , it was ultimately a sweet love story. The sex was loving, well written , and hot. A very interesting diversion from my usual reading habits!
