For readers who love romantasy, dragons, morally grey heroes, villains wrapped in shadow, magick, and war.Welcome to the world of Ellian.

A Prince of Shadows

Cullen Moore grapples with the intensifying emotions he feels towards Everleigh Aeress, while she desperately pleads for him to set her free from the gilded prison he has constructed. Unaware of the truth, she remains oblivious to the fact that the golden cage is not intended to imprison her, but to safeguard her from his escalating thirst.

A Young Witch

Betrayed by a trusted companion, Talen Freeborn faces the arduous task of surviving against all odds. Bound by magickal wristlets, she is rendered powerless, vulnerable to the malicious intentions of others. Regardless of the circumstances, her faith remains unshaken as she hopes the boy she loves will come to her aid.

A Dragon Rider

In a daring act of defiance, Faeryn Zabina, along with her formidable twin dragons named Ori and Sable, have fearlessly broken their solemn oath and ventured beyond the colossal barrier, all in response to the desperate pleas of those who require their assistance. However, upon her return, she discovers that the most perilous situation she faces is not the act of breaking rules, but rather the intensifying emotions she develops for a pink-haired Fate named Maliah Bazzel.

This book is the darkest among the three and marks the end of Act I in the series. Early 2025 will see the release of ACT II as a duology, concluding the story.

I don’t even know how to put what I just read into words. This page turner had me feeling all my emotions throughout the chapters. I’m going to need a full day to process that ending.

Rue has absolutely outdone herself with this, I still have goosebumps, and I'm trying not to cry. The beautiful descriptions, action sequences, sensual scenes, and emotions this book evokes are fantastic! If I could give this book 10/5 I would!

OMG, I cannot wrap my brain around what I just read!!

The characters were phenomenal. I loved reading and getting to know these characters some more and seeing everything each character was going through made this story a page turner for sure.

The storyline...Rue Volley has done it again!! She's left me with my jaw on the floor many times throughout the book with many shocking twists and turns that I never saw coming. And that ending...was heartbreaking. It was a story that I couldn't put down because I needed to know more. This is my favorite story out of the three books in ACT I and I am patiently waiting for ACT II to start to see where these characters go and what they'll do next. I highly recommend this read. But be warned there are triggers which are mentioned in the beginning of the book and the blurb.

I would’ve had this book done within a day or two, if not for adult responsibilities! I didn’t want to put it down! Non-stop action, lots of spice, had me hanging onto every single word! I couldn’t wait to continue in any spare moment I had. I’m devastated it had to end. I’m craving more! I can’t wait for ACT II to come out! I’m here, and absolutely ready for it!

Can not wait for the next book!!!

I love how we get more in-depth in this book. The more you read, the more you come to understand the beginning and a little of everyone's back story. The end of this book got my anxiety in knots, and I'm patiently waiting for the next book!
