Lost Arrow Ranch #7

For This Reason

Rate this book
“You love horseback riding, don’t you?” she curled her lip at him. “Is this one of those non-negotiables that would end our relationship before it even starts?”

Lost Arrow Ranch is a remarkable place that offers therapeutic horse riding and interactions with animals for individuals who have faced various challenges and traumas. The Payne family has dedicated their lives and careers to supporting those with tough backgrounds, providing them with a second chance. The ranch operates as a fully functional homestead, with a small community living there, including those in traditional roles and those necessary to run the ranch's extensive programs and services.

Isaac was skeptical about therapy for many years, preferring to rely on his hands-on skills in building things. However, everything changed when his wife passed away three years ago, leaving him as the sole caregiver for his son, Paulie, who was both mentally and physically affected. Shiloh's innovative approach to art and play therapies, offered in the serene studio and outdoor settings at Lost Arrow, has not only given Isaac a newfound respect for the work they do there but has also been instrumental in gradually reuniting him with Paulie, one milestone at a time.

Shiloh is enthusiastic about the fresh project at Lost Arrow Ranch, focusing on art and play therapy. The new studio has been designed to resemble a playful craft room while providing a space for therapists to connect with their clients. Although Isaac isn't entirely convinced that his son Paulie will actively participate, he accompanies the young boy as they begin to work on the new space. Unexpectedly, Shiloh manages to connect with Paulie in a significant way, catching everyone off guard, especially Isaac, who had never considered the possibility of needing support following the accident.

The Lost Arrow Ranch series is based upon Ephesians 1:15-17 (NIV). “For This Reason,” is the first book in this expanded six-book series. Download this clean romance book that will make you feel good about yourself and the world around you.

I liked this book that continues the Lost Arrow Ranch series. Shiloh is a new therapist at the ranch who uses art and the outdoors for therapy. Isaac lost his wife in a car accident three years earlier. His son, Paulie, was in the car wirh his mother and was severely injured but survived but hasn't talked since the accident. Isaac has tried traditional therapy for Paulie with no change until the new therapist uses her art with him. Shiloh and Isaac start seeing each other. I recommend this book as a clean romance. This is my voluntary and honest review.

Help that was most appreciated

Isaac needed help for his son after a tragic accident that caused the death of his wife. When initially meeting with Shiloh, he was not convinced that she could help his son. But a miracle occurred that had Paulie speaking again all with Shiloh's help which also resulted in a relationship starting for them.

I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review. Maybe the answer that a little boy needs is the same one that a man needs. Maybe love comes in an unexpected art form. Very well done!
