With Sooha now in Dardan’s clutches, her life is in grave danger! In order to save her, Heli and his friends investigate a bar called Railgun, where they’re ambushed by an enemy vampire with a strange power unlike anything they’ve encountered. Meanwhile, the werewolves learn that Sooha’s kidnapping and the disappearance of their brothers are linked―and all roads lead to the vampire-infested city of Automnal! When friend turns to foe, the boys may have to call upon their past selves to awaken their true power―but will that be enough to rescue Sooha before it’s too late?
(I would never give anything related to Enhypen less than five stars btw, Enhypen fan first, person second, I fear ✋😔)
This volume of "Dark Moon" is one of my favorites so far! There are many chapters dedicated to exploring the past lives of the main characters, an aspect of the story I was always curious about, since actions from the past are essential to understand what is happening in present time. And while this story doesn't have much space for character development, these scenes paint a fuller picture of their origins and give a lot of hints into their current predicaments, so I loved reading these chapters! I also liked that the werewolves were given space in this volume, I wonder what their role in all this truly is, although I'm not sure it would be fully explored in this particular webtoon...
This is a fun series to read, although I do take most of my enjoyment from it in finding similarities with Enhypen's music videos/lore (the prince/knight outfits of the characters have been worn by the group members in a previous album promotion ☺️). Still, it is fun and cute and funny, with some impactful moments that propel the story forward, perfect for a light read! The art is absolutely stunning, which only enhances the reading experience, in my opinion!
Can't wait to read the next volume, this one does end up in a really stressful cliffhanger, so I'm very curious to see what happens next!!
P.S. Enhypen has released an album called Memorabilia, last year, that is the soundtrack for this webtoon and it is absolutely fantastic, you should check it out 👀
Continues to be goofy, violent fun. I still can't tell more than a handful of the idol group-adjacent characters apart, and remember none of their names except for Heli, and Sooha the princess. It's quick, breezy reading that hits a lot of the right notes, though I also feel that this could be a lot more impactful as an epic where you get to know the characters, their powers, and the setting a little better. As is, I'm enjoying its "Sailor Moon, if the scouts were all guys" vibe and will continue to collect the nicely-produced paperbacks, though it would be more reasonable and economical to read it on the Webtoons site and call it a day.
Everything makes so much sense now that I know what happened before. I hope the boys will be able to make it in time to save Sooha. They all deserve a happy ending this time.
I don't even know how to start this review because the first two things that come to mind are: 1) Trust the process in information being revealed for a reason and things making sense later, and 2) THIS WAS SO GOOD!!
The flashback chapters were EXTREMELY compelling!!!! The history of everyone, how things painfully unfolded, and it all leading up to this moment with an interesting villain, I could not put this book down for a moment!
I know with volume three I let out a few audible "gasps," but I'm pretty sure I had A LOT when reading this volume! Everything was so well drawn and really brought the action forefront, but with this nagging mystery that has our guys racing to find answers. Of course with those "answers," there are now even MORE questions, especially with that cliffhanger!
LITERALLY, WHY DID THE CLIFFHANGER END THERE?! I NEED THE NEXT VOLUME ASAP!!
I really liked the "mini" bad guys and how with a lot of different things going on, I never found myself overwhelmed. Confused at times because I didn't know what things meant, sure, but that's why I said this series reminds me to trust the reading process because everything always makes sense by the end. Honestly, I feel I'm still trying to process everything that happened because it was such a turning event for EVERYONE! I think where it ended all the characters are feeling the same, but unlike me, they have zero time to process anything.
I'm VERY eager to read the next volume! I've definitely enjoyed the series so much, but this volume had a lot of twists that were shocking but also a lot of fun to read too! Hoping the wait won't feel TOO long for the next volume because I need it ASAP!
WHAT THE ABSOLUTE HECK?!?! This was WILD. So wild I loved it!!!
Things just keep ramping up and up it’s insane! I think everyone nearly died half a dozen times and these fights are INTENSE, so much so I was afraid they wouldn’t get out alive or was questioning HOW they were going to stay alive! With that intensity comes waaayyy more blood and wounds which may be around an R rating for more sensitive readers, especially since it’s colored so the amount of blood looks a lot worse then what a black and white manga can usually get away with, haha. But the violence fits the horror of what’s going on without glorifying it, so I was okay with it.
And that backstory!!! 🥰🥹 Oh my gosh, that was so precious and amazing and HEARTBREAKING, my goodness this artist knows how to kick you in the gut with feels! Selen and Heli are so stinking precious and the forbidden love?! THIS is the type of forbidden love I eat up!!! I LOVED this part and it oddly reminded me of the first two volumes of Sailor Moon which I love as I really liked that part of that story and this one being similar yet different was wonderful and my favorite part despite how horrible it is, if you can’t tell, lol.
And the way it ended…!!!!! Oh no, this is HORRIBLE!!! 😬😱 I’m gonna cry or scream but I haven’t settled on which one to indulge in yet… Good grief the anime’s going to wreck me, isn’t it? Because this already is for sure and just add music and emotional inflection in the characters’ voices and I’m gonna die in a puddle of tears, no exaggeration. In fact, I’m probably going to go do so now…
Amazing volume!

This was a kick-ass volume! Werewolves figuring out things on their side, the vampires figuring things out on their side + get a kick-ass power-up which I loved, tons of fantastic battles, and finally the backstory on what happened in the past and how that icky Dardan became a vampire. It was very tragic and sad, I am hoping that they can stop a repeat of it in this future.
EWwwww, Dardan. Ewww. I already found him icky, but seriously? In that backstory? Imagine someone not liking your (given how eww he was I didn't blame Selene for saying no) and then just deciding to go for forbidden magic and destroy everything. *sighs* Men.
Primeiramente, eu realmente amo a amizade do Chris e da Sooha, perdê-lo tão cedo me entristeceu.
Nah cuz after several chapters of nightball in the last volume, this one hits different. Finally delving into the true plot, the flashbacks of Selen and the boys becoming the first vampire lords, and the true meaning behind Marge's actions. Lots of battle scenes, good dialogue, stellar art, and MORE EQUAL LINES! (Besides or main king Heli, but that's expected). And also Dardan tweaking which is just hilarious lol
Also I hope that more people start appreciating Jakah and Shion. When I read this part the first time, I didn't understand why people don't see him as a contender for the most powerful, they all just say it's Heli and Noa. But Jakah and Shion slay, and now with Vamfield people are seeing that. Jakah has super speed and enhanced energy senses, and Shion has his wall walking but also compulsion. Dope.

Look, fiction does a lot of things for a lot of different people.
Having the villain be a forever stalker, working his way up a hierarchical to get with the princess, be rejected, gets made at the states monopoly of violence, and over throughs it so he can be the new king married to the person he “loves”… with vampires and werewolves… its not working for me.
Look, sometimes fiction should “waste our time” be cheesy, explosive, predictable—but when all of fiction becomes that, why would I want to be invested? I have my trash stories and fiction too, but if I really, deep down think about it: don’t we all want to create memorable stories and moments?
Not just page turners but mind changers too? I don’t know, I’ll be going back to the tropes I know and I won’t see the thing I critiqued at all.
"With the same sword that killed my people...I'll have you slay your friends." SCREAMING CRYING I HATE THIS PART SO MUCH WHY DID WE END HERE😭😭😭 THE NEXT BOOK IS GONNA BE SUCH AN EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER I CAN'T DO THIS😭😭😭 I absolutely loved this volume! It's my second favorite in the series! The only problem I could find with it was that Sooha was way too OP during the Battle of Railgun and that made it really hard to cheer on the boys because technically they didn't really do anything. They didn't really get to shine. It was 100% Sooha and I hated it. But the rest cancels all that out because it was just TOO GOOD!!! I can't let one tiny part bother me when the rest is just *chef's kiss*

Look ~i don't really care^^~ but alas i will obviously read all of this. Again - it's not bad - but it could be SO MUCH BETTER. also this volume definitely contradicts stuff from the grey city (yes - this was published first - but the grey city is better so I don't like it here xD) and that makes things a bit weird. I'll let it go - because I feel like they just decided to make things better in grey city and i am still supposed to look at it as the same universe? maybe... I wouldn't mind it being different ones. We'll see I guess...
This series is so addicting and I love that all the boys have their own personalities that are reflective of their Enhypen counterparts. In this book we learn more about the true identities and relationship that the group has with Sooha. I also enjoy that the werewolves are so involved in the story too. The illustrations are beautiful and detailed and it adds much depth to the plot. This is my favorite series of all the HYBE webtoons.
This is turning into one of the soap opera gacha stories that my kiddo watches. And just like those end up sucking me in, this one does the same. Wild plot leaps with no underlying logic and they turn out to be correct?! Gasp! Shock! I feel like I should be rabidly eating popcorn to see what happens next. Man this series is a hoot.
3,5☆ Better plot than vol 2 and 3! Those hand symbols are very cool. Good scare but the ultimate super power main character saves everything ofc. Also - is everyone just ignoring that Solon turned infront of their eyes or what? With the flashback to the past, we finally learned about their origins. BUT I'm still not happy with the love story for Sooha and Heli...
creí que la vampiro que controlaba la niebla sería más poderosa porque desde su primera aparición la hacen ver como una mega amenaza. de nuevo, siento que todo avanza muy rápido y me molesta un poco que parezca que sooha tiene tremendo harem
