This book hinted at the drama all throughout, and it kept me on my metaphorical toes. I was always on edge, waiting, expecting the drama to happen, and when it did, I thought, "I'm sure there's going to be more..." And most of the time I was right about it. Misty Ellis' books are always filled with romance, drama, and emotions, so you won't be disappointed when you read this.

However, this book does have its ups and downs. What I didn't like was that we got to see Maverick fall in love with her, but Noelle's emotions were muted and not as apparent. I would have enjoyed seeing her fall in love with him as the plot progressed rather than admit her love for him in a couple of chapters and be done with it.

Noelle is on a date with a man she met on the Fishin’4Love dating app. She thought Trevor looked good on his profile. He was pictured with two puppies as he was a foster dad, he was a volunteer firefighter and he was looking for love and commitment. Noelle thought Trevor was the ideal man until she met him at the restaurant and realized none of what he said was true. Trevor thinks society is out to get him and he is unemployed. Trevor talks only about himself. When the check comes Trevor won’t take it and he wants Noelle to pay so they can go back to her place. Luckily someone came to her rescue, telling Trevor and Noelle that he was her doctor and he needed to get her to a hospital because she had an STD. Maverick is a billionaire and he was listening to Noelle and Trevor’s date and he knew he needed to save Noelle. Noelle and Maverick went to a bar a had a few drinks before Maverick took Noelle home. Noelle invited Maverick inside and they ended up having the best sex of their lives. Te next day when Noelle woke up he wasn’t in bed but he was on the phone in the bathroom and Noelle found out that he is her new boss. Maverick thought about Noelle for the weekend and started the new CEO position at HireCorp the company he just bought. Noelle has been trying to figure out a way to evade Maverick. Maverick has an employee named Sara who is throwing herself at him, he had no desire to be with her. Noelle’s direct boss is Chris and he is always making advances to her, she doesn’t want to be with him. Maverick and Noelle end up making a pact to be together without feelings to keep the others at bay. Maverick has been out of the dating life since his wife died. The chemistry between Maverick and Noelle is super charged. Will Maverick and Noelle be able to keep the leeches away? Will Maverick and Noelle fall in love with each other? Will Maverick and Noelle find love and happiness together?

Magnificent Age Gap Billionaire Workplace romance!

Age gap and fake dating are some of my favorite tropes, which is why I had high hopes for this book. I adored the plot concept, it had a little bit of everything: Knight in shining armor, age gap, work romance, exciting conflicts. What I did not enjoy was how under developed this concept was. Several times we were introduced to a new and inspiring scenario, just to have it fall flat, not giving any information on how the situation played out or even if it concluded. Time and place jumping were also a problem throughout this read. More than once I was left confused on how the characters arrived somewhere, or why these average people were able to teleport through time and and space, since that could be the only way I was able to explain being at work in one paragraph and then at their aunts house in the next paragraph. Always lacking any sag-way,

Both main characters were likeable. Maverick showed a little more personality and depth than Noelle's character was given. I would have preferred to have experienced the thoughts and feelings of the main characters, opposed to just being briefly told about them.

In my opinion, Saved By The Billionaire is an okay read, it was entertaining enough to finish reading.

I found this book really enjoyable. It starts from Noelle who ends up being catfished on a dating app and which goes incredibly wrong. Maverick who was sitting on the next table ends up rescuing her by pretending to be her "unprofessional doctor". He explains that she is his patient and that she is currently contagious, hoping her date doesn't end up catching anything, Maverick volunteers to take her to get checked out and isolated.

They end up spending the night together, until Noelle ends up overhearing something about the company she works for and realises he is the newly acquired CEO. She tries to avoid him around the office but when she is tasked to be on the team to throw a big event for the company, they both meet and sparks fly once again.

Throw in some issues with anorexia & bulimia, divorce, sexual harassment... Noelle and Maverick have to jump through many hurdles before they get to their happy ending.

Despite there being a 22 year age difference between Noelle and Maverick, they were so cute together! It always gets me when the MMC falls for the FMC first. He just wanted to tell her how he felt but didn't want to scare her away 🥹 the epilogue was so touching and I loved their vows. Definitely recommend this book if you're looking for an age-gap romance with lots of feels 💘📚.

Noelle is on an awful date when she is rescued by Maverick. Maverick had been watching her date and when the guy was being aggressive about leaving together Maverick stepped in to help her. They end up going out that night themselves and have an instant connection. They share an amazing night together; however, she overhears him on his phone and learns that he is her new boss. When he arrives at work Maverick is hit on constantly by the HR woman and tries to get her to be professional with him. Noelle has been dealing with a supervisor that is trying to her to date him. Everything was getting even more complicated when Maverick sees that she is working for him. They start seeing each other and try to keep feelings out of it to hopefully solve their problems with co-workers. Yet its not long before things get very real between them. Will they admit to how they feel? Can they finally be together?

This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This is a beautiful love story about an older successful man, Maverick and a younger woman whose career is just taking off, Noelle. When Noelle finds herself on another horrible date she’s unexpectedly rescued by a handsome stranger, Maverick and he ends up getting her home with them speeding an incredible night together. Unknown to them come Monday morning he’s the new owner of the company she works at. Maverick ends up helping Noelle out of an another social situation with her boss and she helps him with a flirty co-worker. They go back and forth trying to stay professional but don’t and Noelle fights it. When Maverick is there for Noelle on more than one occasion there is an undeniable connection that gives them a fighting chance. I love how those being deceiving, jealous and mean are put in their place! This story ends exactly where it starts, great ending! "Saved by the Billionaire" is a cute, steamy story.
I have read other books from the author and i can say this one is not one of the best.

What i liked:
- The plot is good
- The characters are likeable

What i didn't like
- The excuse towards the end to create angst, ruined the whole story for me. How can someone believe something so silly, after all the developments in the book?
- The chronological references where a little confusing, especially at the beginning.

Overall it was a pleasant reading.
I will read more from the author.

Maverick rescues Noelle from the worst date ever and it turns into a one night for them. Three days later he takes over as CEO of the company that she works for and the entertaining storyline lights up with drama, steam, support and protectiveness. The characters are fantastic, with great chemistry and backstories along with current traumas. Loved the twists and deep emotions as the plot dipped with roadblocks once in a while that they had to overcome. Some of the co-workers you want to really smack in the head. Yep, all the feels are here waiting for you. Terrific ending that brings it all together. I will be rereading this one again.

This book will bring both sad and happy tears to your eyes. Noelle is trying to find love through a dating app and ends up meeting a real loser. However, she is saved by a knight and ends up taking him back to her place for some mind-blowing sex. Noelle ends up finding out that her one-night of sex is from her new CEO boss Maverick. They try to stay away from each other, but things and life has different ideas. The book has lots of sad scenes, but they make the book that much better. I won't give away the ending, but it is so special and perfect to a really great book by Misty. It's a 5-star read.

Saved and Protected

Maverick saves Noelle from a first date & their attraction is instant. When she learns that he is now the new owner of the company she works for, things get a little stickier & awkward. With Maverick persisting to be with her, the feelings are mutual. There's a little bit of everything in this story, with issues with other characters trying to break them up. The hot chemistry is there but will Noelle be convinced to take a chance on them to have a HEA?

Ooof what a smexy story between two really well written and likeable characters. Everything works for me in this story, except for a few plot machinations that didn't fly with me (convenient misunderstandings and lack of trust).

There are some funny moments that really life this book above similar stories out there - but the best aspect that Misty Ellis absolutely nails here is the friendship/relationship/ease with which these two interact. Very cute and steamy to boot!.

When Noel has an intimate night with the stranger that rescued her, she thought that it would be a one and done only to learn that he is the new CEO of where she works. He wants to pick up where they left off but with all the drama going on in her life, she is skeptical. This story is filled with emotional twists that will draw you in and have you cheering on Maverick and Noel to get their chance for happiness.

What a cute story. Noelle is on the date from Hades when she’s saved by Maverick. She begins to think of him as her Knight in Shining Armor as he saves her several more times. Maverick is awestruck by Noelle but knows that she’s not ready to be told how deep his feelings run. Will outside forces change their views on life or will Trust see them through?.

Would love to be saved by this billionaire...
Confess I often give up on books that are not edited properly. Given the books of this author I have already read I'm pretty certain corrections would have been done. In any event, I actually still enjoyed this story. Main characters were extremely likeable & their attraction was sweet yet off the charts hot.

After saving Noelle from a disastrous date, Maverick takes her to a bar and they end up spending the night together. Days later, she meets him as her new boss. To discourage others from pursuing them, they agree to fake date but soon things get serious. It was a cute story and always enjoyable from this author.

I really enjoyed Noelle and Mavericks story, their first meeting was fun and humorous, they had plenty of chemistry. However when Noelle learns Maverick is her new boss, she knows that nothing more can happen between them, but Maverick is very good at getting her out of bad situations. Entertaining story.

Oh my gosh, this book had me grinning and laughing from time to time, starting with the horrendous date that opened the story. That indeed needed saving.

And that continues throughout the book, in mostly a good sweet and loving way.

If you need a story that flows quickly, with some office romance, denying feelings, but leading to a happy ending, this one is for you!
