This stylishly illustrated reference book probably contains every type of vehicle you've ever seen – and lots that you haven't. There's everything from rockets, racing cars and planes to tanks, trucks and Roman chariots. Every picture is labelled with its name, and there's an index of all the names at the back of the book.
Sam Taplin grew up in a beautiful valley in Yorkshire, where he dreamed of being a writer, and after three years reading other people's books at university he started writing his own. He's been doing it ever since. When he's not writing about lonely rabbits or inquisitive bears, he likes doing card tricks, writing songs and playing long games of chess by the fire.
This is a fabulous, sturdy book that provides great stimulus for talk - it really is a thousand things that go! Detailed pictures of so many kinds of vehicles, divided up into sections. The board pages mean this book will stand up to repeated readings by the most enthusiastic of little fingers.
Brilliant book for both adults and children; because there are some vehicles that even I didn't know the names of and as a writer it is a very valuable resource.
Elliot borrowed this from a friend. He enjoyed searching the enormous selection of vehicles, searching for ones he’s interested in (airplanes and construction trucks)
