This historical high fantasy time travel is page-turning with exceptional world-building that is dark, dangerous, and consumed by twists and turns, and will have readers on the edge of their seats anticipating the suspense and what will happen next, and the characters are strong, independent, intelligent, captivating, and realistic. After reading the first book, I was so excited for the second book, which was even better than the first. The book is captivatingly written and the word building is also excellently written. I really grew to love Ryan because he is just a great, lovable and strong character. I love that the series is written very visually and you can immerse yourself directly into the story. I can only recommend this series!

Another fantastic book by my favorite fantasy author!
I loved book 1 and book 2 was even better, some parts made me teary eyed others had me on the edge of my seat, thrilling parts I didn't see coming , when it feels all hipe is lost something extraordinary happens.
I highly recommend this author 😊

I absolutely loved this book so much! In the last book we got a sense of who Ryan is, what he stands for and what his overall goal was initially - before and while he fell in love with Ayred and its people - In this book we get to see a bit more of Ryan's life; progression in his relationships with everyone from family to friends to allies and even with enemies. We also get to dive into Maya and Miras world, meet new characters - friend and foe- new creatures, finally meet Lena, and figure out how to prevent their worlds from ending as they know it. Single pov, dual timeline (past and present time travel), and great world-building. With magic, mythical creatures, found family, strong justice based morals, closed door friends to lovers romance, plenty of political/battle strategy, action and a twist you don't expect, you can't go wrong!

I read the first series of the other realm, and i fell in love with the story. i was excited to read the second
book , but what i didn’t expect is the way the events were unfolded. I didn’t expect for another world building, and let me tell you, it’s jaw dropping!! I fell in love again with Ayred, but Awres was another story !! The description of it made me dive into its red beauty and uniqueness !!
About the characters, this series focuses on Mira the villain sister , which throughout the story, you don’t know whether to love or to hate!!
All in all i hope there is another one coming and soon !!!

I loved the first book in the series, this one is a great continuation of the story. Delving further into a new distinct world you learn more about the Whisperers. As Ryan and his allies work together to deal with the evolving challenges they face, there are unexpected twists and turns. Throughout the story, there is a wonderful detailed flowing narrative to bring the the world and its people alive.
