This was everything I was hoping for and so much more! Talk about an exceptional summer read! The vibes were there, and they were vibing.
This book was easy and fun. The world was simple to learn, and it really allowed for the characters and their story to shine. I didn’t have to worry about what was going on. I could just focus on the journey. There was also the perfect amount of darkness and drama that I know and love from L.B. Benson. It kept me on my toes and absolutely sucked me in!
Kaycia is just the most precious. I feel like I keep saying it, but it's so true. I just want to protect her and keep her safe in her wonderful world of art and plants. She is so warm and caring. I just want to be her friend. She is also just so strong. She had the courage to upend her entire life to life her dreams, and I am here for it! She is no longer willing to let circumstances, things, people stand in the way of her happiness, and I LOVE IT!
Shane. Um, hello, sir. If I can’t be the one to protect Kaycia, I sure know that he has it in hand. He is always looking out for the people he cares about. The way that he just crashes head first (into a canvas) into Kaycia’s life and unknowingly provides her with what she didn’t know she as missing was beautiful to watch. I love a support system, and Shane is the top. I would ride on his motorcycle any day!
It also wouldn’t be an L.B. Benson book without some amazing side characters, and she did not disappoint. They are a fun, chaotic, and an incredibly supportive pack of misfits. A found family I would love to be a part of. They scoop Kaycia up and make her one of their own. No questions asked. I just want more of all of them!
I felt absolutely giddy reading this book. I think I smiled through the first few chapters watching as this story unfolded. I had so much fun. I love these characters and this little world. I can’t wait for more!

No surprise, but your girl loves a shifter book. And the type of shifters in this story? Perfection. I won't spoil it, but honestly some of my favorite side characters. 💖 This is my first L.B. Benson book, and when I finished, my first thought was "Well shit. Now I have to wait for book 2? Ugh." 🙄🥰 The story was fun, sexy, and excellently teed up what I expect to be a just-as-fun second book in the Wolves of Woodbine Hollow world. 😍

I absolutely inhaled every word of this book! Paranormal shifter romance with a broody MMC and an FMC that I related to so much, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
I adored the Kaycia and Shane’s romance. Sweet and spicy.
Loved the side characters and want to be friends with them in real life.
I cannot wait to see more in the hollow with the other wolves.
You won’t want to miss this release.

I DEVOURED this book. This shifter romance was absolutely adorable in every single way. I loved the MCs so much & the way they took care of one another. & the way he loves her 😮💨🫠

Sunset Daydreams is a dual POV paranormal romance between wolf shifter, Shane, and his human next door neighbor, Kaycia. Shane and Kaycia have crushed on each other from afar since becoming neighbors, but have barely spoken. All of that changes when Shane catches one of Kaycia's paintings before it can fall down the stairs. The two have instant chemistry, but Kaycia's feelings for Shane stay strong when she finds out who he truly is?
Sunset Daydreams is a feel good paranormal romance. Kaycia and Shane each have their own baggage and trauma from their past, but their romance is blessedly drama free. I loved their chemistry and their individual awkwardness. It's sweet and endearing. It was so refreshing to have the conflict of the story be outside of the romance. I did a happy dance when there was no third act break-up! I'm a huge found family fan, and the pack Shane made for himself in the city was so lovely. Apart from shifters being introduced and the basics of pack life, there isn't much worldbuilding so the setting is easy to understand. Great intro to paranormal romance for someone who is curious to try out the genre. It's low stakes, great vibes, fun banter, and an easy read!
There's a happy for now ending for Shane and Kaycia with a few unanswered questions and some clues for the who the next book in the series will focus on. I enjoyed this story immensely, and I'm looking forward to the next book!

Sunset Daydreams by L.B. Benson is a paranormal romance and the first book in the Wolves of Woodbine Hollow series. This book is packed with shifters, next-door-neighbor romance, cute banter, and found family. All the characters are super likable and the plot was very well paced. I could not stop reading this story. The romance was adorable with some spice. I think this book was very well written and I am excited to see what is next for this series.
Kaycia and Shane complimented each other really well and I loved their relationship. Kaycia is such a free spirit and I loved everything about her. Shane was a great MMC and I loved how obsessed he was with Kaycia. He was super protective and romantic. They were grumpy x sunshine which is my all time favorite trope! Kaycia was super bubbly and sweet. While Shane was more of the brooding type. I loved how he acts so sweet with Kaycia. The plot of this book was interesting. There is a lot of mystery and tension with Shane’s past that is the primary focus of the plot. He has demons in his past that start to rear their ugly heads as soon as he starts a relationship with Kaycia. The book then follows not only the romance between Shane and Kaycia, but also them having to face Shane’s demons. I really enjoyed this book and if you like paranormal romances then I recommend giving this book a read!

This was a shifter romance with some solid action that had me devouring it in one day! A contemporary wolf shifter escaping a painful past, Shane is softly scruffy and sweet, but fairly withdrawn, as we discover he's hiding out in the city from prying eyes. He finally starts bonding on meet-cute dates with bright and spunky Kaycia. But he has the whole thing of him being a wolf shifter hanging over him and how he tells her. Then elements of his regretful past deed returns to haunt him, threatening his new love and long waited happiness.
I was immediately invested in these two! Truly amazing how vividly these characters all came to life so fast. They are written with detailed precision that flows so effortlessly! Kaycia is not whiny at all, she’s fiery and down to earth, with a resolve that strengthens as her love grows for Shane.
Shane just melts my heart with his golden eyes, his vulnerability, his fear that she may not accept his past, of him being a shifter. His angst is palpable, but so is his fierce love, protectiveness and loyalty to his pack.
The final battle is quite the showdown! Whether it's thunder and brimstone, delicate moments of bonding, flashes of banter and gentle kisses, struggles of hidden truths... this felt cinematic and is a perfect paranormal shifter romance to add to your shelf. Bring on book 2!

Another amazing read from LB! 😍 I really enjoyed this wolf shifter romance and the characters were just so cute and easy to be fond of ❤❤❤
Shane was a wolf shifter tortured by the guilt of a past he couldn't seem to cut ties with, and remnants of it would comeback to haunt him and all his loved ones 💔 Even with his unending turmoil, he could be such a ray of sunshine! What I liked most about him was how he encouraged Kaycia to get out of her shell, and gave her the courage to do what her old self wouldn't have imagined possible ❤ of course, Shane himself was a little shy when first getting acquainted with her, and we certainly have Raquel, Jamila and especially Max to thank for pushing him to make his move 🤣❤ I loved the warmth and protectiveness emanating from his character 😫❤❤
Kaycia could be described as a little bundle of cuteness 😍❤ she had a crush on her hot next door neighbor, but never had the guts to make the first move, and I think a lot of us can relate to that! 🤣 she was an incredible artist. This was such a fun, fast paced summery read. Our main characters, Kaycia & Shane, had a very genuine meet cute.
Kaycia is discovering herself now that she’s on her own and finally following her dreams. Shane is more broody and cautious due to his past. But when they start to spend more time together, they both really come out of their shells and embrace who they want to be, 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳.
But all demons will catch up eventually and Shane’s past is threatening what they’ve begun to build. This adds lots of suspense and some mystery to the story.
This story is a paranormal romance where the paranormal world is easy to understand and if you’re new to the genre, I’d say this is the perfect book to start with.
Overall, I loved the plot, characters and suspense. There’s lots of banter between the main characters, but also with the side characters as well. There is spice, but it’s not super descriptive and doesn’t take up a lot of chapter space.
𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 ends on a cliffhanger that has me very interested in seeing where the story is headed for book 2.

This was such a fun, fast paced summery read. Our main characters, Kaycia & Shane, had a very genuine meet cute.
Kaycia is discovering herself now that she’s on her own and finally following her dreams. Shane is more broody and cautious due to his past. But when they start to spend more time together, they both really come out of their shells and embrace who they want to be, 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳.
But all demons will catch up eventually and Shane’s past is threatening what they’ve begun to build. This adds lots of suspense and some mystery to the story.
This story is a paranormal romance where the paranormal world is easy to understand and if you’re new to the genre, I’d say this is the perfect book to start with.
Overall, I loved the plot, characters and suspense. There’s lots of banter between the main characters, but also with the side characters as well. There is spice, but it’s not super descriptive and doesn’t take up a lot of chapter space.
𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 ends on a cliffhanger that has me very interested in seeing where the story is headed for book 2.

I completely adore Sunset Daydreams!!! This is a romance between Shane, an exiled wolf shifter, and Kaycia, his human neighbour. Once they start to spend time together they fall in love but when Shane’s past comes back he has to figure out how to keep Kaycia safe.
I had so much fun reading this! Kaycia and Shane has an instant attraction and love, and it works for them. They have many adorable moments along with spicy scenes. It’s so cute that he was so nervous to ask her out and I love that she doesn’t let anything push her away from him.
Shane is super protective and has a dangerous side but he’s totally a cinnamon roll! I love him for supporting Kaycia’s dreams and how much he cares about his friends. Kaycia is kind, stubborn, and is trying to figure out where she belongs. That’s why I adore Shane’s friends accepting her into their family and that he makes it easy to be herself.

Kaycia is a bubbly fierce recovering people pleaser, whose is trying to live out her dreams in a new city. I loved their story from the start. Shane, our wolf shifter MMC, is running from a haunting past and learning he is deserving of good things despite his mistakes. When these two sweet bbys come together? The chemistry and tension? LOVE. So precious and watching them fall in love was such a delight 🥹 We get the best group of loyal found family and just the right drama to keep you in your toes! Also, this is no slow burn! These two don’t fight their attraction and we get a solid amount of spice which includes a mirror scene, ✨fill me up✨, and a delicious chase scene through the forest 😮💨
Sunset Daydreams is book 1 in a series of interconnected stand-alones that I’m already itching to get my hands on! Cannot wait to see the rest of our couples and this book ends with a hint at who’s next 👏🏻

I enjoyed this a lot! A very light read overall, with a great romance, a good amount of action, no unnecessary drama, no third act break up.
The world is pretty much normal, with shifters of different species, not just wolves.
I liked Kaycia and Shane together, their relationship was believable and the spice was hot - there were multiple spicy scenes, some more explicit than others, a good variety and not repetitive.
The found family aspect was wonderful, how Kaycia finally found people who love and support her, unlike her parents. The main character having a strained relationship with their parents always makes me emotional, especially when they finally stand up for themselves!
Truthfully, I was hoping for more wolf stuff, but I feel the ending is set up nicely for this in the next book, so I am very much looking forward to finding out what happens next.

Honestly, what an adorable book! I love that on this world there are different types of shifters and not just wolves,and they make their own little misfit “pack”. I enjoyed that the FMC, Kaycia, was always rooting for herself and didn’t let being a ‘weak human’ define her in this world. I did like the MMC, Shane, I just wish that we had gotten to see more of his wolf side 😅. For most of the book we only heard his thoughts of wanting to shift but he couldn’t, but I would have loved more moments of him shifting and his thoughts while shifted.
For people who like to read cozy werewolf/shifter romances, this one is *chef’s kiss*
Also, a giant thank you to the author for entrusting an ARC read to me, I really loved the world that you took me, the reader, to!

Did I know I needed a tension filled, bad boy summer romance? Nope, but now it’s all I want. This was so freaking cute. While shifter books aren’t normally a sub genre I go for, anything by LB I’m going to get my hands on immediately. It’s also the first shifter book I actually couldn’t put down. The angst, the tension, Shane and Kaycias adorable head over heels romance! The bathroom scene!!! Chefs kiss. If you want a low stakes, cozy artist meets baddie biker, this is your perfect book.
Thanks LB for this ARC and being the first shifter book I truly enjoyed.

I loved this sweet shifter romance by LB Benson!! It’s the perfect summer read, especially if you love quick burn biker romances!!
I adore LB’s style, it’s poetic, funny and just all around perfect!! I’ve been a massive fan of hers since I read The Bartered Soul and, although this is of a different genre and much sunnier than her previous series, it’s amazing and I’m in love!! The worldbuilding is so easy to follow but no less immersive!!
Kaycia and Shane have listed after each other from a far and a chance AC breakdown leads them to start up a steamy romance… Shane has a huge secret and Kaycia is blissfully unaware of the world she lives in. She’s a human artist who’s moved from the countryside to follow her dreams in the big city. We see them navigating the trials of life and discovery together and my goodness is it a sweet and lovely ride!!

What a book . Funny sexy and we have a sexy werewolf . Kaycia and Shane are neighbors for the past 6 months but until now they haven't trully talked to each other . When she almost hit him with her canvas was the reason to reintroduce themselves . They click from the first moment and they start dating . Shane is keeping a secret from her , he is a wolf shifter and 10 years ago after an accident was forced to leave his pack and start his own life alone . Now that he is finally happy the past comes and threatens his life . Will he be able to have it all his woman and his pack again ?

Shane is running from a past that haunts not only him but anyone who might be close to him, so he keeps most everyone at arm’s length.
Kaycia is doing her best to navigate a new life in a new city pursuing dreams that don’t live up to the expectations she’s always tried desperately to achieve.
These two stole my heart and I was rooting from them from day 1.
Perfect spice, great angst, fun backstory, and a perfect setup for the next book. Bring it on, baby!! I’m ready!

LB Benson shone brightly with her fantasy trilogy, Andromeda's Account, and this switch to contemporary paranormal romance is just as easy to get lost in and love.
The romance that blossoms between Kaycia and Shane is so sweet, with lots of spice. Kaycia is a talented artist who is filled with insecurities and doubts thanks to her unsupportive family. Shane's history, which should have stayed in the background, interferes at the worst time. Between their whirlwind romance and their friends who stand by their sides through everything, Kaycia and Shane get their HEA.

I didn’t know what to expect from this book, especially as a fan of The Bartered Soul, but it didn’t take long for me to get swept up in this brand new world of found family, mutual pining, and new adventures around every corner.
I related so much to Kaycia when it came to her relationship with her family (let’s just say the Pacific Ocean is the most appropriate distance between me and my mother), and Shane and his close-knit friend group were a balm for the soul in that way, much like I found in my own life.
Even with some of the darker pack politics and such, the tone in the book was relatively light overall, which I loved, and I can’t wait to see what’s next in the series!

first off: THANK YOU LB for giving me the opportunity to read this 🖤
i loved every minute of this. from both main characters, to their budding romance, to the CHASE scene 👀, to the flow of the book. it’s truly perfected paced, and it made for a really quick read.
i really loved how perfectly kaycia and shane fit together, and their chemistry was just so sweet. not to mention quel, jamila, and max (who was personally my favorite). i hope we see more of max next book.
the ending was perfect, and i cannot wait to read book 2!

Sunset Daydreams is a perfect shifter romance novel. Our MMC, Shane, is a cinnamon roll with a past and the fierce desire to protect those he loves. Our FMC, Kaydia, is an aspiring artist and sweetheart. I really related to Kaydia's desire to find herself outside of others' expectations (and having a small forest of houseplants). I adored the dual POV between Shane and Kaydia. The plot was compelling but not heavy. This book is everything I look for in a paranormal romance. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

This is such a fun one!!! Not just wolf-shifters but some fun found-family friends (RACCOON SHIFTER GIVE ME MOOOORE). A quick, intense love; a nice change of pace from the slower burns I’ve been reading.
The villain is very one-dimensional but sometimes it’s nice to have a story that’s neatly tied up that way — especially when nothing in real life is 🙃
I pre-ordered the sequel because I cannot wait to experience Max getting his ass absolutely handed to him by Lana.
And the author is an absolute DELIGHT so I am very excited to support her. Support indie authors!!
