The French translation was really rushed, with some rules elements missing. As for the adventure itself: it's really great to finally have an official evil adventure! The first three chapters were quite amazing, but the fourth one seems dull to play. There are a lot of fights without real exploration or roleplay interludes, and each combat feels like a small boss fight. The progression ideas are very linear (you need to search this NPC and decode a text in some foreign language). Gorum's apparitions should have been epic, but they feel repetitive and really bland. I think this chapter will need a big rework for my logical, loophole-searching, nitpicking adventurers.

Evil campaigns are certainly TTRPG outliers - if you play P2.1 and want to be a bit nasty, I would recommend this!   Not without faults, it is a solid, shorter narrative that would be difficult for a younger group that lacks experience points.  If you have been through a couple dungeons and can suspend your disbelief just a touch, you are going to have a good time.  The story does a good job of keeping things on track, does not have the characters doing overwhelmingly evil activities, and I found the plot well detailed.  I am looking forward to running this in a few weeks time.  For GM’s & players: it does use a lot of the subsystem mechanics in the GM Core in a good way; I caught myself smiling reading through some of systems the author put in place.
