In Moral City‚ the sheriff and a ranch boss were attempting to pin the blame for two recent murders on an innocent stranger. Tucson Smith‚ Lullaby Joslin‚ and Stony Brooke — known as the three Mesquiteers — weren't about to let that happen. The trio were a sure–shooting‚ high–spirited group‚ and now they were bound and determined to find the real killer. The three Mesquiteers had many an adventure in their day‚ and tales about them flourished. But none of the stories were as intriguing as when they caught sight of the legendary ghost of a silver–haired girl galloping through the mountains . . .
Just an old fashioned Cowboy Shoot 'em up where the good guys are good and the bad guys are bad. There is an added touch of a mystery story with laughs and basic clean fun. Writers like MacDonald are long gone and we are paying a sad price.
