Spawn’s decision years ago to leave his past behind led to him unexpectedly meeting a biker who changed his life. He has repaid his MC family time and time again using his computer skills. When he helps one of his club brothers with a problem, it backfires, putting him in the right place at the right time to meet the spirited little nurse who goes toe-to-toe with him. He’s intrigued. She’s not backing down.
Kimera has no idea how her life will change after meeting a patient and the huge biker who comes to see her. She instantly becomes the other woman’s refuge, but while trying to help resolve Troian’s past, she puts herself in danger. Spawn and the Iron Punishers come to the rescue, but she’s not able to let go of what happens.
When Spawn finds out Kimera left town without a word, he does his thing to find her, only to discover something that leaves him angry and unwilling to go after her. It takes his club calling him on his behavior and a friend digging into things to show him the truth. When he finds her and gets a dark secret out of her, it’s worse than he imagines.
Now Kimera has Spawn not only wanting to claim her forever, but he vows to make her real-life demon disappear by releasing his inner demon and showing her why he’s called Spawn. With a little help from a new MC, he makes it happen, and she ends up becoming Spawn’s She-Wolf. A Spawn and a She-Wolf just might make the perfect couple made in hell.
Warning
This book is intended for adult readers. It contains foul language and adult situations and discusses events such as stalkers, assault, torture, and murder that may trigger some readers. Sexual situations are graphic. If these themes aren’t what you like to read or you find them upsetting, this book isn’t for you. There is no cheating or cliffhangers, and it has a HEA.
An avid reader with a passion for romances that finally got the chance to write one of her own. The rest is history. Not what anyone thought for someone who has been a nurse and in healthcare management for years.
I sit writing as my two fur babies, my pugs Kujo and Khaos, impatiently wait for me to get done so they can lay on me as their human sofa!
My children are finally considered to be adults, so it's me, the hubby and the dogs.
I'm a iced tea drinking fiend who has insomnia, more ideas than I know what to do with, and a need to write them down.
Not too bad for a girl from rural Ohio in the foothills of Appalachia that grew up in a town of about 4000 people.
1.5* 40% is a recap of the last book. Really didn’t like the Kimera.
Oh boy. I was really looking forward to this book, as I’m laid up with a broken knee, and it was terrible. Why do we have to recap all that happened up to Kimera running off, for 140 pages??? It’s 40% of the book that is a recap. We’ve already gone through all of that in Troian’s book. I really don’t need to read how they met, and when they went to her house to get Troian again!
We met Kimera in the last book. Kimera was Troian’s nurse who discharged her patient into her care when Troian needed protection. Then she dyed her hair in a ludicrous attempt to get Troian’s cousins to target her. Kimera is devastated through her stupidity when she nearly got the prospect killed. Wasn’t a fan of her then, and I’m still not.
When Kimera leaves the Mc, Spawn mistakenly thinks she’s with a married man, so doesn’t attempt to follow her. After two weeks of him feeling sorry for himself, he finally goes after her and finds that she’s attempting to get revenge on a man from her past. Again with a ludicrous plot! 🤦♀️ In the middle of all of this is how Kimera treats her only friend Troian. She doesn’t speak to Troian or the mc after she was taken and then she disappears. Great friend.
After a load of pointless drama, Kimera and Spawn live happily ever after. Sorry but it’s terrible.
I loved these mc books but recently they've become really weak storyline wise! I don't connect with the characters like I did I Previous series'. I think the past few books are really diluted compared to the first one featuring Terror and co.
Book five in the Iron Punishers MC series .. Kimera is a nurse sassy. Spawn like how she don’t back down. The attraction is so funny. When things like up for them almost perfect. When she leaves with out a trace. He lets her go. Two weeks later his going crazy. So with the help of the club he goes after her. Not knowing with she left. Heart broken she run. Till he finds her. That’s where they share the story that makes spawn so angry. We find out how much she means to him. Now he’s ready to claim his girl and make her believe in ever after.
A nail biter with a finish to satisfy any MC romance reader fan
Spawn’s She-Wolf (Iron Punisher’s MC Book 5) by Ciara St. James is compelling, suspenseful MC read. It is a fantastic continuation from the fourth book of this series, but does not leave a reader lost if new to the Iron Punishers. I have enjoyed every book written by this author as she does a really fantastic job with the multitude of characters, weaving them in and out of books within a series as well as interwoven from other MC series. Honestly, I love how does this, but amazed how she keeps track of it all! The characters in this story are just as wonderful as all the couples that came before. Kimera is a real spitfire and matches Spawn verbal spar to verbal spar. Neither Spawn nor Kimera is perfect which creates plenty of antagonism adding to the will they-won’t they element of their romance. In addition, I love that this alpha biker falls first and goes after his lady (eventually). Overall, the action is top notch, the steam level is smoking hot, emotional connections are on point and relationships as well as bonds are established and solid. I was also completely satisfied with the MC justice served up. It was beyond deserved and long over due. I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
Quite a bit of the first part of this one was in the last book, we just got things from Kimera's point of view. It seemed so redundant that I wished things would have started later. You could tell that something bad happened in Kimera's past from her actions, but when you learned what really happened, it surprised me the lengths she went to help her new friend. Kimera staying on the compound to help really let her see the MC wasn't what she thought and I feel like gave her some insight to how things would be with Spawn. It didn't stop her from running, but it helped, especially later when things started to ramp up and she was at a different MC's clubhouse.
While I hated that Kimera had her past brought up, it did do one great thing, reconnect her with a foster sister that she missed. The things they learned broke my heart. I was glad that they could talk about things together and that Spawn and the guys could help take this threat away from both women.
I liked that when things came to a head at the end that Kimera was able to face her evil and help make sure that this evil didn't hurt anyone else.

Spawn’s She-Wolf is the fifth book in the Iron Punishers MC series and follows Spawn as he pursues Kimera, the nurse who helped Troian in the previous book. After mysteriously vanishing without telling anyone where she is, Spawn sees something which causes a misunderstanding and it takes his club brothers and friends stepping in for him to see that maybe not everything is as it seems.
It seems that any of the men in these books don’t have easy rides with their women but it wouldn’t be such a good read if they did. I found the book drawing me in, more because I wanted to know what had happened to Kimera, and it was obvious from her appearance in the last book that she had a sad story behind her. I liked the characters, the combination of Spawn and Kimera had me chuckling a few times as they seemed to bounce well off each other.
Overall, this was another good book and one I would recommend reading.
This book is about Spawn and his She-Wolf, Kimera. The story is focused on getting to their happily after while seeking vengeance on a threat from Kimera's past. Spawn had a.case of insta-love for her but she had a hard time opening herself up to him and accepting his love. When she was a teenager in foster care she was violated and betrayed by the family that was supposed to protect and love her. Hence her ability to trust. This couple is hot and so much so.they steamed up my glasses in a couple of scenes. Once again Ciara St. James has given us a page turner of a novel. I not only recommend this book but the others she has written as well. I loved this story and I cheered when the vengeance was complete and they were granted their happily ever after.
Although i have enjoyed the IPMC, this one not so much. Very wordy, parts were repeated almost copy/ paste. So much sex that it was repetitive and i ended up skimming pages. All of the books seem to be the same…he/she meet, fight, she leaves, he follows, more fight, finally make up. Alot of torture and descriptive at that. Enjoyed the input of another MC but the same old story line is getting hard to read. This author is amazing but she is in a rut, this book also contains child rape from the past, altho not just this author but it’s the 3 rd book regarding this topic that has been released this month. Not sure if can continue this series unless she changes her format, same story just different characters. Uggg
Spawn is following in his brothers' footsteps, jumping to conclusions/putting his foot in his mouth. Kimera keeps secrets and rightfully so. She is used to looking out for herself. When she leaves town, without saying anything, Spawn digs into her life and soon follows her. While watching her, he gets the wrong idea and goes home mad. He soon learns he was a jerk and he is determined to make it right. When he finds out all the details, he vows to put her demons in the ground where they belong. Intense and emotional, I was on the edge of my seat the entire book. Cannot wait for the next book!!
Ciara's book is like a bad boy - it's got a little bit of everything: action, suspense, sexy scenes, and of course, those delicious alpha males. Kimera's got some major trust issues thanks to her rough childhood and a traumatic experience, but Spawn's determined to break down her walls. Too bad he keeps screwing up. This book's got a happy ending, but you've got to wade through some drama to get there. I loved it, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Ciara fan. It's really that good
We met Spawn and Kimera in the previous book in this series and now we get their courtship and happily ever after. Spawn is the alpha computer guy of the MC and Kimera is a sassy nurse, Kimera is staying with the guys to help Troin from the previous story, a misunderstanding happens when Kimera leaves resulting in Spawn not wanting to go after her, his club finally convinces him to and he finds her. Trouble happens,a new MC comes to help, this book is packed with drama, suspense, laughs, love and all the MC characters we know and love, another fantastic book from Ciara. Highly recommend ❤️🖤
So if you have been reading this series you know that other characters stories start in the previous book. With that in mind, go to the 38% of this book, it is ALL the retelling of the book before it, you won't miss a thing. Why oh why do authors do this? Same story, same dialogue, it is maddening! The rest of the book is Spawn chases his she-wolf, she goes all "I am woman hear me roar ", they argue, get back together, get the bad guy, the end.
The 1st 35% of the book is just a recap/repeat from the previous book so I pretty much skimmed that. After that, not the best overall.
Kimera is slightly frustrating to read she runs away with no explanation and wouldn’t speak to her ‘best friend’ Spawn isn’t much better. He gives up at the first hurdle and throws his toys out the pram rather than doing what his does best and hacking to find out exactly what was going on.
It must be extremely hard when a loving home is lost and have to enter the system. Kimera helped save Troian and from that came to Spawns attention. Not knowing her traumatic past he messes up. Dark content sometimes hard to read, but I couldn’t put it down. Waiting for Tinker now.
We met Kimera in the last book of this series. Spawn and Kimera’s story as misunderstandings and facts that they have kept from one another. She needed to return to her childhood town to set the past to rest. Spawn chased her to help her face and get her monster from her past. It was a fast paced read and I can’t wait for the next one.
I truly loved how Ciara St. James refreshed my memory. how Kimera and Spawn met leaving the mystery of what had happened to her in the past. This book was so full of determination on Spawn' s part to make Kimera his old lady. This reader ate up the words of each page to see what would happen. Excellent excellent read.
Spawn is definitely a guy his over reacting to Kimera caused misunderstandings. By the time he came to realize he missed up, she was gone. Spawn decided he was getting his woman back, took off after her, and helped her put her past to rest and was there for her while she confronted her past and demons. This was a great couple.
The characters were well written, the story line was interesting , but the 3 star rating is because where the peak should be and grab you and keep your eyes glued to the table it just fell flat. It read as though it was going going and down. There was questions that weren't answered, or what happened to other Secondary characters to the main character.
Another amazing book by ciara st James kimera and spawn love story.
Kimera is a nurse from lash's book and the story starts from spawn and kimera point of View of some of the things that happened but after that was sorted kimera past needed to be resolved and with the help if spawn and the iron punishers mc and a new club savage highwaymen mc
My heart hurts for Kimera. To have the family member that truly loved you pass away at a young age & then to be in foster care to a family of monsters. Glad she found the Iron Punishers. But mostly I’m happy Spawn & her found each other. They can finally have a Happily Ever After. Can’t wait for the next book.
Ya, just like the others, lol. Spawn almost lost his She Wolf because he was being a dumb guy. Ugh, Kimera needed him more than she knew. But she wasn't letting him in, I don't blame her, but he finally got through to her.
Like always Ciara has done a outstanding job. I have to say it was a great read. I glad they worked out things out. Can not wait to see what happens with the rest of the members.
I love how these men rally for their brothers and take care of their women. Kimera needed all the help she could get and Spawn was the right man for the job. I loved how he loved her.
Great story the author really keeps it going in this one and you can’t help but keep reading to see what happens next. As usual typical style Spawn speaks before he thinks it through but Kimera stays strong and makes him work for it. Vicious has to catch a break soon though.
Thank you for this wonderful story. I love these characters it didn't let me down. Love the story and finding their love for each other. Thank you can't wait to read next one.
What a great addition to a awesome series. It is pulled me in right from the start and kept me there. I just absolutely loved it and can't wait to read the next one. A definite must read.
She was a nurse who met his friends old lady when she was in the hospital for surgery. He immediately fell into lust with her and began the chase. It only gets better from there.
Spade meets his one in the hospital helping out Lash women. But helping a friend brings out secrets and problems for them both. As another Punisher falls and must fight for a happy ending.
