The enemy kingdom of Radha has sworn that every Shamaran will burn.

The island nation of Keket could seal her fate, or set her free.

A slave ship wasn’t exactly how Princess Aviama had hoped to reach Keket.

A dusty market on a fringe island wasn’t the royal welcome she’d hoped for, either. But when a betrayal leaves Aviama high and dry with a man bearing a dangerous secret, she must find a way to secure her freedom and pacify the growing supporters rallying around her, threatening to transform into a deadly mob.

Two political powerhouse kingdoms, an abandoned girl, and a royal riddle keep Aviama a breath from disaster as she navigates the tense pirate-infested waters of Keket—in a last ditch effort to save her people before she and her family go up in flames once and for all.

Princess Aviama’s story of royal espionage, elemental powers, and high-stakes adventure comes to a satisfying conclusion in this unforgettable finale.

Praise for The Melderblood Chronicles

“I’ve utterly fallen in love with the world and political intrigue, a mix of curious mythical creatures, elemental magic, clean romance, and royal games of life or death. Aviama is such a relatable, fun, and clever character to follow and I can’t wait to see what she does next.”

“High stakes, no spice, all the ‘just one more chapter’ edge of your seat action and intrigue you care to read.”

“Princess Aviama is such a fun character to spend time with. Her anxiety, insecurities, and clumsiness are all things that I strongly relate to. However, for me, this makes her acts of courage and willingness to try all the more inspiring. If she can try I can too!”

This series was everything! Every single book was 5 stars! The main characters were flawed but likeable and easy to root for! The side characters were interesting and added so much to the story! The action and adventures were thrilling! It was sweet and heartbreaking! This was the perfect ending to a perfect series!

Book 4 in this series kept me on my toes from page one to the very last word! This book was filled with action, danger, betrayal, war, death, pirates, non-stop adventure plus love, friendship, mercy, anger, misunderstanding, redemption and reconciliation; all the things you look for in a fantasy book.

I felt like I was on a roller coaster of plot twists. One minute they were in the “frying pan” and the next they were in “the fire”, over and over again. New enemies at every turn and new friends, too.

Erin has an amazing talent of crafting a story that grabs your heart and takes you along for the ride page after page. The character development and growth for many of the characters was brilliantly done. Her books are fast paced and never boring. I wish I’d found her sooner but better late than never!

I usually try to figure out what is coming up as I’m reading. Not consciously, it just kind of plays out in my mind. This book has me wondering how things were going to be resolved. It was hard to do especially because once they got through one horrible situation they would be placed in one that was just as bad or worse.

The ending was great. I would have like to have “seen” the main characters from the Blood & Flame Saga in these books, especially the end but they are mentioned. Both series are top notch and I highly recommend.

There is a bit of kissing but nothing past that. Wry well done. This series has a lot of death and war time battles. It’s not SUPER graphic but it does go into a small amount of detail. I’d take caution when allowing a younger reader to read them.

Grab the entire Melderbook Chronicles series and Blood & Flame Sage. Read Blood & Flame first. It won’t take long because you won’t be able to out them down.

The edge-of-your-seat final installment of the Melderblood series delivers an epic fantasy experience with intense battles, a tormented protagonist, and dangerous missions. EA Winters crafts a story of betrayal, loyalty, and the weight of past choices, all set against the backdrop of a beautifully realized world that challenges its heroes at every turn. With high stakes and clean, evocative fantasy left this ARC reader by turns terrified, amazed, heartbroken, and delighted.

I was really hoping for character growth. And there really just isn’t any. She’s weak and gets everyone around killed repeatedly. I mean in books 1-3 she’s getting hundreds of people killed based on her poor decision making. And immediately starts getting more people killed by not using a single moment to think before she acts. Over and over again. She learns nothing. I skipped through most of the action, it had too much inner monologue of the exact same thought repeated over and over, not only repeated but they were the exact same thoughts as books 1-3 just with more name added to the list of all the people she’s gotten killed.
She had so many opportunities to suck the breath from people and kill them but she wouldn’t because she wants to protect life. If she wanted to protect it so badly she should have killed these main people to save the many that she ends up killing by her negligent actions. It just frustrated me. I really should have given it one star but I enjoyed the other books. I had higher hopes I guess.

🌠Reaverbane by E.A. Winters is the fourth and final book in her Melderblood series, and what a breathtaking conclusion it was to such an amazing series! I’ve loved getting to know Aviama over the course of the series, she’s such a sweet yet strong heroine, who reminds me a lot of Queen Esther! I love that each of her books hint at christian spiritual truths & values in a deep, thought provoking way, much like C.S Lewis did!

✨ Avaima has journeyed through four books worth of heartbreak, betrayal, dangerous epic battles, and has finally found love...I’m sad that this book concludes her story, as I’ve loved journeying through the beautiful, lush fantasy world E.A Winters has lovingly created..But at the same time I’m glad that Aviama finally got her Happily Ever After, it was SO hard won!

🌌 If you’re new to the gorgeously imagined, highly immersive fantasy worlds of E.A. Winters, I highly suggest you start with her Blood & Flame Saga, which is about Aviama’s sister Selma, and is where we first meet Aviama..You’ll fall in love with the wide cast of memorable characters, epic battles, elemental powers, and rich, beautiful themes throughout each book. If anyone can show you resilience; enduring trials and tribulations without becoming bitter, while keeping your heart soft and hopeful during dark seasons and painful circumstances, it’s Aviama! She’s become one of my favorite fictional women…I would have loved even more to her story and will miss reading about her adventures, but I understand that all good stories must finally end. I hope E.A. Winters starts another series that will give us glimpses of Aviama & Selma’s Happily Ever Afters now that they finally made it to the other side!

🌠 I've read all of E.A Winters' books at this point and have to say, you can't go wrong with any of her books, they're all amazing in their own right!!
She's become one of my favorite authors, and I can't wait to see what she creates next! Thank you so much @e.a.winters for the absolute honor of arc reading Reaverbane!! I loved your entire series and would rate all of your books:
✨👑💖👑✨
and highly recommend them to anyone who loves Clean, YA, Adventurous Fantasy Romance!

Also aviamas Abenteuer lässt zu wünschen übrig.

brilliant final book!

Radha swore that every Shamaran will burn. Keket could either seal her fate or set her free.

Princess Aviama wasn’t expecting to reach Keket on a slave ship. When she’s led into a dusty market on a fringe island she is left trying to find a way to secure her freedom and pacify the growing supporters rallying around her.

Both Radha and Keket want to destroy her family and her kingdom. Can Aviama navigate the political shark infested waters and protect all the people she cares about?

This was the final conclusion to a brilliant series that started with Dragon’s Kiss in the Blood and Flame saga, continuing into the Melderblood Chronicles. I love the world and characters that has been created. Aviama is so different from Semra but I love both FMCs for different reasons. The HEA in this was *chefs kiss*. A brilliant set of 8 books I’ve just devoured in about 10 days! I can see why it was popular on BookTok!

Favourite quotes include:
Her lips parted in surprise, and his mouth crashed into hers. Strong hands cradled her face in his hands, and with the magic of his touch, every fear washed away as a tidal wave swept over them, filled with emotion and craving and answered questions.

“Maybe you’ve decided you don’t deserve light. But you’re made of it. You emanate light wherever you go. Maybe it’s time you kept some for yourself.”

Wow! This book beautifully tied up this 4 book series. It was satisfying, epic and beautiful. It left me craving more but also satisfied that it was finished and the story complete. It gave me everything I needed to see this series to a close; although I was hoping throughout the book to finally reunite with the characters from the blood and flame saga beyond just mentions of them, but was still happy with the end.

This book took me on a rollercoaster of a ride, which I knew it would but wasn’t expecting the routes it would take. Following Aviama’s journey in this last installment brought about deep character development and healing that the character desperately needed, and I was so happy for her! Her relationship with Chenzira had me cheering so hard for them, and I loved the way both characters felt real and rounded, both with troubled pasts but real communication and trust not always the normal in books. It was refreshing. Their individual characters and relationships were fleshed out and created to make sense and grow: a highlight of the series.

I’m devastated to be finished with the amazing world E.A Winters created for the Blood and Flame Saga and Melderblood chronicles, but also content with how the Melderblood saga dealt with the Blood and Flame Saga and wrapped them beautifully together. This world and these characters will always have a special place in my heart.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Another good one by EA Winters! I absolutely loved this series and I was very excited to read the final book and learn the ending of Aviama and Chenzira’s journey. I did feel like this one fell a little flat for me. It took me more than usual to get through it as I was waiting for something big to happen and I just wasn’t getting it and the ending felt underwhelming compared to previous scenes in the other books. I’m also disappointed in so many questions being left unanswered and a few plot lines unfinished. I’m sure the author has plans for more books in this world but when they’re tied to Aviama I feel like those questions should’ve been answered and plots wrapped up in this series. You know when you’re reading a book and things aren’t really progressing fast enough and you’re not getting answers and you’re running out of pages so you get a little confused on how it’s all going to come together so fast? That’s what I felt while reading this. I knew this was the final book but I couldn’t help but think there’d have to be another. I really liked this book otherwise and it was a very happy ending, I had just expected more is all.

Oh my goodness! RUUUUNNN!!!!! You need to read this entire series right away!! Full of action, love, betrayl, unexpected relationships, pirates, and never a dull moment!

What a roller coaster! I thought for sure someone I loved was going to die, then relieved when they didn’t.

I absolutely could not stand Sutekh- he deserved his come upping’s. Although, I wished it would have been from his sister.

Chenzira and Aviama were constantly tested and I will admit I thought they may not make it but so glad they pushed through. The trial they endured, I feel are very related to everyone’s relationship- aside from the pirate ships and being abducted and threatened every 2 seconds.

The little family they created was great- even Durga lol. And omgosh the little girl, I wanted to cuddle her!

I don’t want to spoil anything, but what a complete shock at the end, it made me feel ALL the emotions through those last several chapters!

You will not be sorry for reading this, this has easily became one of my favorite series. It is action packed and you wont even care that it isn’t full of smut honestly!

I thought this, in general, was a great end to the series. I felt like the epilogue was way too sparse on all of the details outside of Aviama and Chenzira and their relationship—like, what the heck is Radhan going to do? And Keket, for that matter? But I loved the Avatar: The Last Airbender vibes with all the fighting in this. I didn’t make the connection in the other books, but the fights in this felt worthy of any bender fight and just felt epic, especially that last one on the ship. I also loved the shift of Durga from enemy to frenemy; her personality was so great, and the relationship she and Aviama developed was so fun. It wasn’t sketched out in detail, yet done so well that I can really imagine their future as their friendship grows, and the way they roll their eyes at each other but are also fiercely loyal. And Chenzira was just extra awesome in this one, especially how he really trusted Aviama by the end to know her capabilities and not feel like he had to hold her back or protect her but could just support her.

If you haven’t read the Melderblood series, you are missing out! There is only one drawback to this incredible story and that is the fact that it had to end. I’m thirsty for more stories in this incredible world penned by E.A. Winters.

But what a thrilling ride it has been and the ending is truly beautiful and everything readers could have hoped for. There are so many heart warming touches to the story that make this series end a chef’s kiss. Highly recommend.

What I have loved most about this series is how none of these characters are flawless. They run around, bump into things, make mistakes and then they learn from them. I’m Reaverbane we see maturity in our favorite characters that came from hard won growth from the earlier books and it is very satisfying.

Also satisfying are the questions that get answered and events that I’d been hoping to see since book one come to life.

I enjoyed this series over all.

The third and fourth books in this series were lower ranking for me.

This one, especially, felt weighed down by exposition to me. There was so much writing about inner monologues and feelings (while helpful) when it could be portrayed in a different way through actions. I almost felt like this book, besides the exposition, was more set up to have a final fifth book to tie everything together and to let everything settle. It felt like there was so much crammed into this book but not enough at the same time. I also wish we could’ve known more about Chenzira earlier on; his story was hidden on purpose, I get that, but the mystery could have still been there with a few more details given to us.

Overall, E.A. Winters is still one of my favorite indie authors, and I really enjoyed Aviama’s story.

Unfortunately this is the fourth and final book in this series and I am so sad!! It was an amazing ending to this so though though and it wrapped up perfectly! Aviama had us all on her crazy roller coaster ride throughout this series with all her ups and downs...new friendships and betrayals. From beginning to end I sat at the edge of my seat waiting for the pin to drop....

Chenzira will always be my favorite for her! The balancing that these two do for each other just adds icing to the cake. With her journey of finding herself and her independence away from her own royal family and his drive to do right while hiding from his own just made the twists so much more interesting in this series! Knowing that this world is now complete I am so happy but so sad at the same time. I can't wait to read what E.A. comes up with next!!!!

I really hate giving this 2 stars because I like the characters and their previous series. This series did not have the same feel.

It was like a series of unfortunate events. The author simply pushed the main character from one crisis to the next without any sense of cohesion or consistency. It was just painful to read.

Not to mention every single terrible cliché that exists: Scraping by with luck and no skill. Stupid decisions being resolved quickly without consequence. Angst about killing the big bad, but no lasting qualms about killing henchmen. Bad guys coming back alive through smooth talking. A finale where the band of misfits was able to take out 2 entire fleets of well-trained warriors. 🤦‍♀️

Such potential in the story. A princess learning to survive with new power. But it just felt poorly thought out.

I absolutely loved Aviama's story. She feels like a good friend and I'm gonna miss spending time with her!
This book feels cozy fantasy adjacent to me. I say adjacent because there is definitely several non-cozy events but Aviama is such a warm character that even while things are falling apart in every way you can't help but feel apart of her team, her found family.
Winters has a way with keeping you turning pages, and even though this one doesn't have a cliff hanger after every chapter, I still couldn't help reading just one more.
I think she did a stunning job with sharing yet another culture/way of life. I do wish it was a bit more in depth but that probably needed a whole other book.
My one gripe is I wanted more Frizzletwerf, but I won't take away a star because of it.

The Stakes Were High and So Was My Heart-Rate

Reaverbane is a beautifully-crafted emotional roller coaster that ties up the final pieces of Aviama's story. If you want a high stakes story with great character development and want to never being able to predict what will happen next, this is the series for you, and this final book did not disappoint.

Warning: The high stakes may send you into frenzy that raises your heart rate and disallows you to put the book down until you finish the final page.

E. A. Winters is SKILLED at crafting spice-free love stories that stand on feels alone and characters that are far from cheesy. If spice-free stories aren't usually your deal, I honestly feel like you won't miss it in this series. Trigger Warning for elements of abuse in this series.

Heartbroken. Delighted. Bittersweet. Intense.
Just a few words I could use to describe E.A. Winters amazing fantasy Reaverbane. Her books continue to craft inspiring, yet flawed characters, evoke all the feels with the swoony, spice free romance, and set you on a journey of epic proportions. Aviama's story was beautifully written, and this book was no different. There was heart pounding action, and I find myself saying, "no! This can't be it! I need more!"
That's how I know I've found a favorite author, and I can't wait to read what she comes up with next.
Definitely don't wait to read the Melderblood Chronicles. They are amazing!! 🤩

3.5 I really wish I could give half stars. This wasn’t a 3 star, but it wasn’t a 4 star either. I was so looking forward to this book, but it fell flat for me. I felt like it was really slow until the last 100 pages or so and then everything just happened so quickly. I feel like it could have been 100 pages less (less time of them as prisoners) and we still would have been able to come to the same ending with all the answers we needed. I really loved the first 2 books in this series and I’m really sad that I didn’t enjoy the final book as much. I still think it’s worth reading though. I really do love Aviama and I’m glad she got her own story.

With each book I read from E. A Winters I love her more and more! Aviama gives me Queen Esther vibes which I just love so much! She is noble, brave, kind, and always willing to sacrifice of herself for the greater good. I have also really enjoyed Aviama’s sense of humor throughout this entire series! This book was the perfect epic conclusion to the series! You will never be bored with an E. A Winters book in your hand. She gets five stars from me! I can’t wait to see what she writes next! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great finale to the series!!

I love the storyline to these series and this one picked up since the third book. But the hard part is often keeping track of the names. So many unique but sometimes similar names made it hard to keep track of characters and made the story line confusing at times.

Overall I’m happy with how this series ended and I’m excited to read what else she comes up with!

Thank you to the author for allowing me to read the ARC!! I’m a little late to reviewing but all thoughts and opinions are still my own.

SUCH A GOOD CHARACTER ARC!!
Aviama is no longer the helpless maiden and makes it through impossible situation after impossible situation, and finds friends in the most unexpected places.
The romance is adorable to read, and has a very different feel from other characters in the Blood and Flame Saga, which was actually pretty great to read - yay for true character variation!

Action packed, elemental powers, and strength in kindness and fighting for what's right.

Definitely recommend this!

This one picks up a few weeks after book 3 ends.
Another grand adventure! However, at times, I was like "are we ever going to get there?" I think it was my impatience.
Lots of twists and turns. A couple I saw, 1 I didn't and it didn't have anything to do with Rana.
Some questions didn't get answered leaving holes and further ponderings. But overall, a nice conclusion. I would have liked to see more with Aviama & Chenzira.
Disclaimer: some gore, revenge, rage, clean, some kissing, mermaids, sirens, good vs evil. All in all, I enjoyed the series!

This was an amazing book and end to the Melderblood series! My feelings were so conflicted. I couldn’t put it down and had to keep reading, but also I didn’t want to read it too fast because I didn’t want the story to be over. This book was so fast moving! A E Winters did a wonderful job on this book! It was a very wild ride. The ending was beautifully done. Thank you for this fun and exciting series. I highly recommend this series!

Reaverbane was the 4th and final book in this series. There was action and twists in this story.
Aviama had some difficult decisions to make in this book. She also had to figure out ways to deal with those decisions. She grew so much throughout this series it was interesting to look back and see just how much she had grown since the first book.
E.A.Winters did a great job wrapping up the story in this book.
