Do you believe in love after death? I didn’t, until now…
What’s inside:
AFRAID OF THE DARK (Book 1) A GHOST OF A CHANCE (Book 2) MISCHIEF BREWING (Book 3) BUMP IN THE NIGHT (Book 4) BONE VOYAGE (Book 5) DEADLY INTENTIONS (Book 6) GHOSTLY GATHERING (Book 7) MAGIC IN THE NIGHT (Book 8) MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT (Book 9) HAUNTINGLY HAPPY (Book 10) SPELL BINDING (Book 11)
I’m a huge fan of anything paranormal and I always have been. I get super excited whenever they have those Twilight Zone Marathon days and anything ghost or vampire related will always attract my attention.
My interests are varied but aside from writing, I’m most excited about traveling. I’m extremely fortunate to have been able to live in England and Scotland, both places really having a profound effect on my books.
Thanks for checking out my books and I hope you enjoy them! Happy Haunting!
Having the first 6 books of the series last year…. I was wanting to finish the series! The books however ranged in hard to put down to what did I just read!
My thoughts of the books 7-11 are below (see reviews of 1-6 on my Goodreads @pkringle)
Book 7 opens in the suspicious hospital and builds on that though the charm and humor and storyline makes the story both hard to put down yet also lose interest. As the story progresses the storyline although well thought out lost my attention yet pushing though the ending was intense and makes the reader wanna know what happens next. Something changed with this book, not sure how to describe it. It plays on emotions of loss and helplessness as knowing that every moment means something and can be changed by something else.
Book 8 Starts off with nothing about the previous book and stating things that the reader has no knowledge about. How’s Drake visible … it’s only in the realm that Peyton goes to around sleep. How’d Catherine know where Peyton lived? How’s she a business now? The mystery of the time jumps grabs your attention. Peyton’s view of Drake definitely change in this book. How’s her family know about the ghosts and stuff. Drake making himself visible not sure how I feel about that yet also how does Lovely see him. The ending not sure how I feel about it…. It just ends.
Book 9 Pages in and already a mystery dog yet I don’t trust him. What’s gotten into Ryan? The sex scene is new. Zombi really however it does fit a the folklore and possession interesting. That ending wow! Feel like some things weren’t ever concluded
Book 10 Chapter 2 has Peyton w no food however her and Ryan has just gone shopping towards the end of the previous book. How’d the person that cursed Peyton get changed it was still a mystery in the last book now it’s a character that we’ve seen several times in the previous books. The writing style changed again with backstories of the characters beeing restated chapters in. Jump to Lunch w Trina came out of no where right at a criticial moment. The “back to” gets irradiating as the story is interrupted by it. Goes from exciting lunch w Trina back to Peyton’s house. Again repeating things that the read knows is getting annoying especially after it’s been repeated in the book already. Switch of a characters name is still bothering every time it’s mentioned. The zombi seemed to disappear for a couple of chapters. Ok skips them coming back from the time jump. The standoff wow yet slightly predictable yet still intense however short lived. Interesting ending though
Book 11 Didn’t the witch already become young books ago? The reaction to Peyton’s return to the house makes no sense. The Lizzy part came out of no where. So confused as to the time in which this all takes place as differs from different books. Again the Zombi disappeared. Ending lacked something for the end of the series and disappointing.
I thought this series was great! And that’s saying a lot since I normally read nothing but vampire books! This series had me hooked by the first chapter and kept me spellbound thru the whole series. I really loved all of the characters and the suspense with every book! I, like others didn’t want to put it down! As I said, I really love my vampire books but this was a welcome change besides being an excellent story. Peyton and Drake were beautiful together. All the exploits and messes they kept getting into just made it that much more intriguing! This series will keep you on your toes with lots of twists and turns but leading up to a super read you won’t want to miss!
Wow. Just wow! So many twists and turns, this series kept me on the edge of my seat. I literally couldn’t put it down! I fell in love with Peyton from chapter one- and loved every single character that came after. Not to mention the old favorites weaved in- great surprise!!
Very good series. Loved the characters esp. Drake the ghost. I could see this series going on and on. Only thing I didn’t like was each book ended with cliffhanger hanger for the next book. Fortunately I purchased the whole series on sale. So unless you want to buy each book get the box set otherwise you will not get the whole story.
This series is absolutely one of the best I have read! It is romantic, mysterious and funny. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for a Spirited adventure three time and space!!
