Chance has had one tragedy after another that has caused him to hate Christmas and anything to do with this time of the year. So, when the opportunity to take one last job during the holiday season arises, he takes it. However, when he’s forced to step in and save his next victim from harm before he can get to her, his heart becomes torn.
Chasity is thriving in her career, but her love life, not so much. This Christmas, she just wants to enjoy her success and time with her family. However, a night out with her best friend leads to her being stuck with Chance, who just so happens to be the hitman hired to kill her.
Will Chasity be able to get Chance to have a change of heart and not only spare her life but love her too? Will she be able to forgive him once she learns the truth about him? Or is Chance too damaged to see that he deserves a happily ever after?

Sat down to read the last few books in this series, and realised books 10 and 12 are gone from Amazon? I'm not sure why, but that's why I jumped into this one (book 11), and book 13 is up next I guess?
Anyway, I loved the premise, I'm definitely a sucker for a hitman romance with some depth. I knew it was going to be good based on how it started and I had a hard time putting it down. The only flaw is that a lot of the relationship development happens off-page, so it's not totally believable that these two fell in love in such a short amount of time. But it was still a very good read.
This story starts out with heavy topics then Chance continues to have heartbreak because The fact of Chasity have a target on her head and Chance being the hitman makes for an interesting story! I think their romance was okay.
I really enjoyed this Christmas book. I love the fact that it was a face paced Christmas book was alittle snatching. I will be reading more books by this author and I enjoyed it .
Chance couldn't catch a break. He loss his girl and their baby. His job as hit man was complicated because he rescued Chasity from being assaulted. Chasity put it on him. I really thought Andrea took the hit on Chasity because they didn't get along, and she Winston all to herself. Chance had all the problems with Alicia because he was giving her false hope. Chasity put herself in a no win situation with Drew. They can't get over people not wanting them. Now they are in a situationship. His granny told him the news about her dying. It hit like a ton of bricks. Chasity went to his granny and her father to get some advice on what to do about Chance. His granny left him a note and told him to fix the problem between him and her. Chance got a fiance and Chasity gave him second chance at fatherhood. Tiara and Jackson has triplets
I was roped into this story from the beginning. Poor Chance wasn’t handling grief well at all. Chasity was exactly what he needed to help his healing process. Now that said, the premise behind them crossing paths was crazzzzyyyyyy and I’m not sure if I would’ve been so forgiving. That said, watching them fall was great. Granny and Jackson were great additions, while Drew and Alicia were definitely dumb and delusional. I’m glad Chance and Chasity got their happily ever after.
I really enjoyed this story and would give it a 5 star rating. Chance couldn't catch a damn break, and I really did make me feel bad for him, especially during the Thanksgiving scene with his granny. I understood his dilemma somewhat, but he could have come clean a lot sooner to my good sis Chasity, but I enjoyed the drama. I loved Chasity fiesty personality and that she didn't let anyone walk all over her. I will say I was honestly surprised how everything worked out because I was 100% convinced Andrea took out the hit
This was my first read by Author Khemistri J, and although that dang Drew and Alicia irked my dang nerves, I enjoyed. My heart broke for Chance 😢. Then he gets a contract that changes his life for the better. Chasity although full of life, hated Christmas since losing her mom. Then enters Chance with all his BDE turning her world upside down. These two weren’t looking for love, but they found it in each other, and helped each other heal. Would love to hear Jackson and Tiana’s story
I know Christmas is over but this Snowman series got me in a chokehold. I just completed Finessin' The Snowman by @Author Khemistri J. This story follows Chance and Chasity. Chance is hired to put a hit on Chasity's life but in love with her. He has to complete the hit or figure out how to save her. This is a beautiful love story with a little stench of drama. Loved it! Happy reading
I really liked this story, it was well put together. I really liked the main characters they were well developed. I know it's a short story but a little more context on Drew and Andrea would have been nice. Also as with all of these stories the ending was a little rushed. Overall this was a pretty good read.
Chasity had her share of disappointment in men. Struggling through a bad situationship she meets Mr. Nobody aka Chance. Chance had his share of heartbreak and tradgedy and was a hired hit man but when he laid his eyes on Chasity his world changed. Finessin the snowman was a good drama filled holiday love story. Grab your copy. Good read!
It starts off with Chance’s whole life is turned upside down in a very bad way until he meets Chasity. Chasity gave him purpose and meaning after all he has had to endure. I love this for him, he so needed this.
Chance had his heart broken and Chasity had no luck in men. These came together in a unique way. Chance was not looking for love but found it in Chasity. They both needed a Christmas miracle and found it in each other.
I really did enjoy this book. I'm happy that Chance took another chance on love he definitely deserved it. I love me some Chasity. Hopefully we here from this couple again.
A different twist on love but you know what they say, love shows its face in the strangest places or in the strangest way. This was a great read for me from the beginning to end. It flowed how a story should. ReneeG
This was a nice quick read. K.J. writing is top tier. This quick read left no stone unturned, Chance was able to get his heart warmed after a great lost and Chasity was able to live her soft girl era.
This book was great! I am so happy for Chance. He opened up his heart to love, and now he is married with a baby girl and expecting another baby by Chasity. I can't believe he was hired to kill Chasity. Thank God her father is connected to a mob boss. Great Read!
This was a great holiday read. The sadness that he went through on top of what she did but to know that love conquered it all at the end was great. love the grandmother wish she would have survived and could have seen the grandkids.
This was a great read. Sad but warmed my heart. I enjoyed it. Chance needed her to open him back up just as much as she needed him. The ending was great.
What!?, $10M‼️.., let it snow ❄️ 🤭 !! “Finessin’ The Snowman (The Snowman Series - Book 11) was a great urban suspenseful drama. …and an unconventional storyline of hope, healing, life beyond grief and new love 🥰. Chasity & Chance plus Tiana & Jackson both received their retirement from the game, family’s and a frosty HEA‼️
Chance, a hitman with a heart colder than a snowman’s nose, gets hired to take out Chasity. But plot twist—he catches feelings instead! From dodging bullets to dodging mistletoe, their chemistry is off the charts. If you’re into urban romance with a twist, this one’s a must-read.
For this to be a novella it was perfect. How you hired to take someone out and end up falling for them. Insert Chance & Chasity! Chance is an assassin and is hired to eliminate Chasity. Now with every assignment he studies the person 1st. Well in studying Chasity, he starts to question what could she have done or what could someone have against her to want her unalived. One night he ends up on a double date/blind date with her by accident and he gives her the cold shoulder, well when she leaves, she is almost attacked and Chance saves her. One thing leads to another and they are basically dating, he slowly falling for her, and he trying to figure out how to not complete the assignment AND not have it be given to someone else. Y’all go read to see how they get their HEA, oh because they do. And you are going to be shocked and surprised to see all who comes into play and just how much love can save the day. Cause baby Chance wasn’t coming up off Chasity even though he tried to his hardest to fight it. Miss Khemistri you been showing out, IJS!!!!
