I'm glad a friend loaned me this book. It is a novel take on what it means to fast. It takes a while to get the whole picture. The idea is not only intermittent fasting but also fasting from things like sweets until Sunday. I used this approach for Lent, and it worked well! I'm still feasting a bit during this Easter season, but plan to go back to it soon.

I have already learned about fasting last year. What I really like about this book is the added layer of offering up the struggles and praying! Use it and pray for others as we get fit for the kingdom of God.
