Chandler and Sasha story was cute. I guess I just really wanted to see more interaction with Chandler and Sasha learning to be parents with Pip. Once they fall in love and move in there's hardly any mention of Pip and it's like the baby becomes an afterthought in some scenes. There's also a few unclear issues and things that I feel we don't get answers from that would've been nice to understand more about as you will see with my side note.

Sasha at the end of Sawyer's book was trying to get someone to take her seriously about the death of Hailey Riddle. Usually when she tells people that she can talk to the dead she gets called all sorts of names and is usually escorted off the property while they laugh their way back in. However, Sawyer too her seriously. So serious that now he needs help with a dead body his brothers found with a new born baby. The woman turns out to be Sasha's long lost sister who was killed by a man believing she was her (Sasha) to prevent her from talking to the ghosts. Sasha knows that she needs help and can only think of one man who can help her.
--side note: I have to say this party of the story was a bit muddled because we never really got a reason for why the man was trying to kill Sasha or how he came about knowing about her. They really just chalk it up to him not wanting his secrets out, but once he is killed it's like everything is swept under the rug and we don't need to know the answer to those questions. Also, I would like to point out that Sasha's long lost sister Melinda at one point in mentioned that she was able to talk to the dead...but there is never any mention anywhere of her having a mark like Sasha or her baby...so was this just an idea thrown in???

How Chandler got saddled into picking up the woman who called Sawyer for help, he doesn't know. But he sadly thinks he's being set up. He had his own timetable for how he was going to introduce himself to Sasha and maybe ask her out for a date to ease the loneliness. However, everything it thrown right out the window when Chandler arrives as Sasha's house and saves her from being beaten. He believes he scared off a vampire, but Sasha knows it was a ghost and tries to explain, but can't exactly explain why he can see them.

As a couple, both Sasha and Chandler are being promoted to a position to help the dead more, whether they wish it or not. However, now with this new promotion comes more dangers including the dead being able to touch and hurt them. Plus they also have to deal with Sasha's family who have more of a grudge against her than Sasha would've thought.

Loved Chandler and Sasha

Sasha Harvard, sees and talks to ghosts. A sister she never knew about, is dead, leaving her newborn baby and orphan. The Bishop family is caring for little Pip. They are asking for Sasha's help.
Chandler Bishop just found his mate in Sasha, though she had to point it out to him. Chandler couldn't be happier. He doesn't have a home of his own and he is still in college following his dream to become a veterinarian, and helping out with the farm. Now he has a mate and they hope they will be able to raise baby Pip as their own.
Raven and Sawyer step in. Raven wants each of her new brothers, and their parents, to share in her wealth. They made her, her daughter and her father family. They have had her back in dealing with her narcissistic mother.
Sasha 's own mother, is a problem as well. Her brother and sister aren't much better. The Bishop is is there for her.
The spirit world needs Sasha and Chandler's help, and so does Chandler's brother Gunner.
Chandler 's mentor and his great granddaughter and her best friend need the family's help as well.
A fun fast paced romance. loved Chandler and Sasha's story. Looking forward to Wesley and Penny.

If you haven't read Kathi S. Barton's books yet, let me tell you the best part, in my opinion. Yes, they're about shifters of some sort. Yes, it includes a fated mate coming into their lives. This is where I find the biggest difference that always brings me back. Her characters usually find a way to find the silver lining in a situation and if they can't, their nucleus of family and friends will be there with loyalty, love, and support to help them find it. Not only that, but the hero, heroine, and support cast, almost without exception, take the high road where turning the other cheek and helping those in need takes precedence. That's what we find here with Chandler and Sasha. Read the blurb and know that there will be drama, angst, physical, mental, and emotional pain but there will always be loyalty, love, and happily ever after.

This book had me in a rollercoaster of emotions a lot of anger I can say. I couldn't get myself out of this negative feeling all through the book. It is probably because of me and a topic in here that really is close to my heart. In a way that's a good thing if a writer can get you to go into you're emotions that deeply it means they are good at wat they do. I do not want to give away to much do make up you're own minds.

Book two

Good to touch base with raven and Sawyer from book one and to see the on going saga of her mother. Chandler and his new partner have similar family problems and the two families support each other. Look forward to the next in the series.

I hate football but even i know that the Bangles play in Paul Brown Stadium, not the Browns. There still is a Rose Bowl. Please fact check before writing.
