The synopsis is very misleading. I went into the book expecting it to be focused on murder mystery, thriller, and action. This book is heavily focused on romance, which is quite disappointing since the story introduced an interesting premise for the mystery aspect of the story. Two stars.

(Rating from a mystery-thriller fan)
First and foremost, this story has a great potential. Maganda ang pagkakasulat sa story at na-immerse talaga ako sa worldbuilding ng HU.

Medyo na hook ako habang binabasa ang iilang chapter ng story, lalo na sa mystery vibes na ibinibigay nito.

But why 2 stars?

Una sa lahat, inexpect ko talaga na magti-thicken pa ang plot ng story. To be honest, wala talaga akong masiyadong idea na may heavy romance pala 'tong libro pagbili ko. The story kinda scammed me (sorry author). Okay na sana yung takbo ng plot, tamang-tama ang balance, pero mas nangibabaw lang talaga yung romance between the MC (Zein) and ML (Ace).

Madami ding cringe scenes which is understandable naman since the story is written around 2016 or 2017 if im not wrong. Minsan gusto ko nlang i-iskip ang ibang chapters nina Zein at Ace kasi sobrang nangingibabaw na. Nawawala na yung pagka mystery ng plot na binuild nung mga unang chapters. Natatakpan na yung mystery plot ng story (Pagdiskubre sa hidden laboratory at initan sa pagitan ng mga gangs. Which is puwede pang mas mapalalim)

Kumbaga, nawala na yung balance between romance and mystery. Para sa akin, hindi din masiyadong naging life & death nung malapit na sa ending. Hindi ganoon naging kadelikado ang Villain kay Zein dahil sa marami namang magliligtas sa kanya. (With Supremo and her friends being part of the gangs, maraming magpoprotekta sa MC)

Mas nangibabaw lang talaga ang romance. The plot could've also thicken more, as well as the other characters too.

It's a really good read. However, a lot of people told me this book was REALLY REALLY good So i was expecting greatness. But that expectation did not meet. But it's still a really good book to read i enjoyed it. You should read it too:)

okayy, hear me out 😅😅😅 I knew that this book is so confusing especially the sequence of scenes and how it was transitioned, malalaman mo talaga na it was written around mga 2015 because of the writing style and honestly, it was the first wattpad book i read that was written in 2015 that i actually really liked. the characters was such UGHHHH and the fact that it is a thriller pero never nawala yung romantic aspect niya. i really liked it. but, the plot twists that were revealed in the end was too much, i was too overstimulated to even grasp and fathom all of it, parang dinagdag lang ni kuya author just to have that x factor—the revelation was supposed to be seen at the climax. anyways, even the confusing sequence, weird writing style, and being bombarded with revelations in the end, still a really good book. yung masasabi mo talaga na every chapter of it was such a cliffhanger that you have no choice but to move on to the next chapter
